"O-oh. Oh! Oh, sorry!" Vespa chirped, a bit flustered. Her cheeks
reddened a bit as Natsumi reffered to them as cute. "So, are you to
headed to lunch? I usually eat alone but it'd be nice to have some
company." She said with a smile, attempting to make conversation.
"We haven't got much passing time left anyways, so if you wanna get
lunch we'd better go now."
"Sure but first I gotta snap him out of his mind. Sheesh, he's so
blind when it comes to girls." Natsumi replied, a bit disappointed
in him. "I'm gonna have to drag him at this point.." She casually
muttered to herself.
Vespa couldn't help laughing at Envy's comment. "I'll go save us a
table, ok? You can try to snap him outta his daze." She chirped,
trotting off into the lunchroom. She chose a table towards the back
of the cafeteria, closer to the Windows, as well as quieter than
the bustling cafeteria. She opened up her lunch bag, removing an
orange, a soda, as well as some other assorted food items. She
peeled open her orange, sticking a piece in her mouth as she opened
her book, resuming from where she left off.
Takuro: //he sighed/ Mariko. //this was the first time he had
actually said her name/ Listen. I'm not going to hurt you. I
generally will not hurt human women. Thats a fact. Envy is another
thing. //he crouched down in front of her and took one of her
hands/ Just because I'm one of the Seven Deadly Sins, doesnt mean
I'm all that deadly. Alright??
Mari was taken aback by Takuro's sudden softness and she nodded.
"T-Thank you..." she smiled softly.
Kyo stayed at the creek for a while. After he got bored of the
placidity of this place, he walked off to the cafeteria. Of course,
he didn't really need or want to eat, but he felt like he was going
insane by being in silence with only a rustle of leaves or the
buzzing of flies to tell him otherwise. After he reached the
cafeteria, he sat down at the table with the least amount of people
on it and started to think about nothing in particular. I'm
turning into Sloth... Absentminded. he thought after a while.
It won't hurt for now, but I shouldn't keep this up.
While waiting for Jude and Natsumi, Vespa couldn't help taking
notice as Kyo sat down across from her at the lunch table. She'd
been sitting alone until Kyo came by, and it seemed he was probably
aiming to sit at the table with the least people, rather than a
table with her at it. "Hi Kyo!" She chirped, leaning forwards a
bit, smile on her face. "I didn't expect you to come sit with me.
Want a cookie? I made some this morning and I wouldn't mind
sharing." She offered, holding up a plastic baggie filled with
chocolate chip cookies. "If you don't want any, I'll just go back
to reading my book, if you don't mind." She said, placing her hand
on the novel she had brought with her.
Erik finished reading a book about a battle in a war. Man,
humans are weak. I could've probably won that battle on my own. It
seems to be lunchtime. I'll go to the cafeteria now. He walked
into the cafeteria and noticed that some of the other sins were
there.
When Ryo didn't respond, a slightly perplexed expression crossing
her face. "Hey, dude, are you alright? You look a little..
distracted, is all." She asked looking at his spaced out
expression, surprised that someone as temperamental as him could
even become this spaced out.
"Oi, old man faaace! Pig gorilla! Earth to nerd!" Envy called to
Jude while poking his cheek. She formed an idea in her mind and
ignored the smirk blossoming on her face. "If you don't react, i'll
kiss you." Natsumi huskily whispered into his ear.
Ryo suddenly clenched his fist and slammed it onto the table,
glaring daggers towards Vespa. "I'm just fine, and I don't want
your cookies," he growled. "They're probably burnt anyway."
"Whoa there, calm your jets. I was just trying to be considerate."
She replied with a half smile. She couldn't help but to flinch when
Ryo brought his fist down on the table, but she distracted herself
by resuming her reading. Vespa couldn't help but notice how
cute Ryo looked when he wasn't totally flipping his crap at
everyone and everything, and made a note to herself to draw him
later. She almost blushed as she thought of his bright yellow eyes,
and she sort of hid behind her book as she ate. She was reading a
book on the sins, blissfully unaware that she was sitting across
from one right now. On a whim, she lowered her book to smile at her
"friend" across the table. "Hey, y'know the seven sins? Didja know
that there used to be eight of them? Pride, Sloth, Acedia,
Vainglory, Gluttony, Lust, Greed, and Wrath. Eventually Acedia was
removed from the group and Envy replaced Vainglory. Weird, huh?"
She said, trying to make tentative conversation.
