A forest where nocturnal, catlike, humanoid creatures live. They are called the Tailmouth. They live in small clans, and are extremely territorial and aggressive to rival clans. But they act somewhat like actual human beings, but with more animal like tendencies. They have large eyes to see at night, and huge, ears atop they're head for hearing. And paw like feet, for cray running speed. But how they get there name is for their iconic appendage. They seem to have a big puffy tail, but on the ends of them is a large, monstrous mouth. They use this for their main source of defense. Tails come in all kinds of shapes and sizes aswell.
But a small group have human scientists have discovered this species and would like to live with them to learn their customs.
So what will happen then?

Roselle yawned loudly, stretching herself out on the rock she was currently laying on. She moved around, trying to get comfortable again ad Bubble snapped at a few butterflies that'd floated by. She flicked her ears forward ss she heard something move about in the forest. "Huuuh?-" she murmured, sitting up.
Luc sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. She was supposed to have been looking for a campsite, or somewhere to spend the night, but instead, she was forced to go looking for something to eat. Everything she'd packed had been somehow eaten, despite it being in a very secure case. She shook her head again, staring at the ground and hoping to find some mushrooms, or even bugs.

Pastel paced around, piecing together what to do for fun. Her mind threw out ideas as fast as she came up with them. Her tail snapped wildly, symbolizing her hunger. She started to look around with her eyes studying her environment. She sniffed the air and put her ears up.

Appearance: Personality: Axel is rather soft-spoken and gets embarrassed easily. He has a hard time realizing when other people like him and he frequently makes social blunders. Constantly plagued by anxiety about others, he is always rather worrisome, especially when around others in fear of being judged. Usually he feels better when he is alone and has things to keep his mind off the embarrassing things he's done. On the other hand, his mouthtail, Moss, tends to act more aggressively. It often nips at things, most notably fingers. It also tends to be protective of its "host" and will become hostile if something threatens Axel.
