Reason for joining: Well, I am pansexual but not many people around me know it. Actually, only two people know it. I was kind of hesitant to join this since some people on other sites don't think being Pan counts...Anyway, I just kind of wanted to be here for people to talk to and such because I know it's hard not having anyone around.

well mine are kinda dumb
the way i actually learned is kinda not appropriate for ph but also stupidly dumb and funny to most people
and i came out to one of my old irl best friends by showing him a tumblr post that read "gay update: still gay" and i just kinda mentioned it to another one, and then one day while i was waiting for the bus while my mum had gone to the shop, she was standing beside me, keeping me company and i just randomly came out to her and she paused for a moment before exclaiming how excited she was to have a gay son, but she was upset too -- because she wasn't the first person i told |D; it took me like 2.5 years after learning to come out to her orz even though there was like no chance of being rejected for it bc my mother herself is bisexual |D;

The first person I came out to was my best friend, at first she was slightly confused but then she understood that the only time I liked people was when I got to know them well first she was very accepting and I'm kind of glad to be honest, I guess the first time I understood myself was when I was out with my friends and they would ask me whether or not I thought a guy was hot and I'd just be stood there like I don't know...
I've tried to explain it to my mother but I don't think that she got it, oh well, meanwhile my dad just said something along the lines of "Be whatever you wish, just don't bring me home any grand kids before the age of 25!"

Reason for joining: I like being surrounded by people who understand anyone can and should be happy, no matter who we like/love. Life's to short to not be yourself, even if others don't like it (especially if it has no legitimate effect on them and their lifestyle)
