Event: Love Letter/Poem

I would like to start getting some events under way since we have a pretty good group of members. I thought we could try something simple/fun at first and less complicated before we start getting into anything too trying for others. So I have decided, if people support of course, that we try and do the Love Letter/Poem contest!

I know I wrote how it works on the first page so check there for more details but a quick summary is that a person can write a love letter or love poem to honor Pumpkaboos. Maybe what you like about them? How they make you feel? Why you have given Pumpkaboo your time and devotion?

The letter can be addressed to a specific Pumpkaboo, maybe a friend you're telling about Pumpkaboos, maybe another Pokemon, get creative don't be afraid haha. As for poems feel free to not rhyme, rhyme, but if you write a poem be sure to format it correctly. You can write either a love letter or a love poem but not both. I will decide on the three I like best to narrow it down and everyone will vote on the best love letter and the best love poem.

I will judge based on grammar, punctuation, format, etc. If there are small spelling mistakes such as using "there" instead of "their" I can easily change that. But if there is tons of spelling mistakes I will judge it poorly. Remember this piece will represent the group as a whole! And our love :3

How to submit:

I'd like you to write it out, feel free to write your entry in a writing application like Word or something and edit it before copy/pasting it here and submitting it, and send it to me in a PM. I will post the finalists here and everyone can vote on what they like best as previously stated.

And since I know letters can get long let's keep it five paragraphs or less please. As for poems I think they are usually short but maybe someone more informed about poems can suggest some sort of limit if there needs to be.

Now you can't vote on your own piece, and of course be a good sport and support others. Don't say things like "mine was better" or "your writing sucks" we are a loving Pumpkaboo community. Once we pick the winner/winners I will post the entries in Fanfiction with a link to our team so people can read our devotion and love for Pumpkaboos and get in the spirit!

I will not participate in this, since I am judging and I want to be as neutral as possible haha.

Prizes!:
Getting your piece featured by me in the Fanfiction section, I will gift 20K to the winner/winners, and you can feel proud that your love stood out the most :3 (I promise to get better prizes as we go on, right now I'm a bit broke, but that will change soon)

Date:
There will be a limit of time, the due date for your entries will be Tuesday, the 4th (now time zones are a bit of an issue so I'm not too harsh on this. I will start judging Wednesday the 5th so please be sure to get the entries in by Tuesday night or it won't count. Or earlier if you get done early.)

Of course you don't all have to participate, it is just for fun! So don't feel forced to have to write something if you hate writing.

@Ghostgem please don't force your art on others. Of course if you are giving permission then yes people are free to use it but don't tell people to use it. I want people to keep their identity haha
