If you can do it on your own pace though, i recommend it. Cause Im tackling stuff that people usually have trouble drawing

even if you're not reaaally going to participate

I only did days 1 and 2, I wanna do everyone together for day 3 and stuff.
I might do the critiques like once or twice a week though because they take quite a lot of time, even with me just talking instead of typing. ouo If that's alright with you guys.

I find your note for today hella helpful ;v;
I use references, but I try to change them and show them in different positions a lot so it doesn't look similar at all, but it also kind of messed with how the object looks.

Day 4
Single Line


For today's challenge, to make you guys get used to not erasing stuff and drawing continuous lines, you're gonna use one single line in the entire drawing.
Get a picture of an object or a person (or the object itself, whatever you wanna do) and draw it, using a pen, without taking the pen out of the paper. Here's an example.
Don't worry about it looking good. It WILL look weird. The only reason I can do it half-decent is because I practiced. lol The more of these you guys do, the merrier (I'd usually do 5-10 at a time), especially if you have issues with serrated lines (Nessy and Rini, I'm looking at you)

This is definitely going to be the worst thing I have ever drawn in my life \o/
I tried to count how many small lines I made when I drew the hands and I lost count at 137 ;;

Done :'D I was going to do more but then I noticed the only non-box item I had left near me was my gamecube controller, after failing 2 times with the 3DS I'm not feeling that confident, maybe later x'D

Includes Piplup, Daycare man, dagger, birdskull, and a togepi that I apologise heavily for...my hand got in the way and I couldn't see what I'd done to the face until after rip.

your voice. Damn its kawaii I actually use references, but sometimes drawing looks so wierd to me i change some stuff. I guess thats why proportions are off. And tbh i expected to have even more things wrong than that :'D

And as for today. We have an interesting couple and a derp cat face

Unfortunately I couldn't get my 3rd sketch in by reset yesterday due to lack of internet, but I'm still going to participate for fun :3

Just updated my post, but I must say, that this one was the hardest one yet. Not to mention my drawings are horrible, without sketching first I can't do anything ;^;

Thank you very much for the critique and compliments! It helps me a lot, since now I got two people pointing out different mistakes, give out tips! Maybe you know where I could get some information about foreshortening? I can't seem to fiind anything valid on my own...
