Since Mari doesn't seem to be on, I hope this is ok with her:
Try to draw a lightsource (Candle, Lamp, etc.) in a way, that your shading shows the light.
This would be a good example of that. This would be a bad example.
Try to bring out the light with shading, rather than lines. : D Good luck.

I had to do it like 3 times so at the end I was not putting that much effort x'D
the fire in orange and the rest monochrome looked better in my head

I told for myself that one of these topic I would make into a very serious drawing, and since I had an idea for today, I chose today.

I didn't really understand well what we were supposed to do, but I tried anyway. Hope it turned out the way the challenge needed it.

My mom said she could scan it later, but right now I'm uploading it as a photo. Hope the quality doesn't ruin the view, though it looks a lot better in real life..
