Crasis continued on his stroll through the forest, not even bothering to sneak quietly whatsoever. He let the branches of the trees scratch his scales and skin, breaking twigs and stomping grass on his way. He usually preferred to stay by the river, but an occasional small change of scenery refreshed him every now and then.

Reyna glanced over to where Queen was looking then shook her head at the raptors offer. "No thanks, I would rather help hunt than sit around and wait for a meal." Reyna said in an upbeat tone, the feathers on her neck proofing out a bit.

I watched them chatter for a while. My prey had finally arrived and explained to her squad what had happened to her. She attacking me because she didn't like me killing younglings?! We're carnivores! We eat what we can, when we can, even younglings. I bared my teeth in a toothy grin. Younglings taste better anyways. While they were talking a heard a noise at my side. I held very still, not even breathing, as the noise moved forward through the bushes. When it finally ce into my field of view I relaxed slightly. It was another raptor, but tiny. Not only a baby, but a runt as well. I briefly considered snapping it up, but decided against it. I might give away my position. It moved into the clearing and began to talk with the other raptors. After a few minutes they seemed to be getting ready to leave. Now was my chance. I rose slowly to my feet, taking care not to alert them with any noise. I could easily jump out, snap up my prey and be gone before they knew what happened, but where's the fun in that? I like to be a bit more dramatic with things of this nature. My skin color changed to a mottled olive and brown, allowing my body to effectively disappear. Only my bright yellow eyes would be distinguishable from the surrounding forest. I had also raised my head higher up, making me seem even larger than I really was. I let out a single, long growl.

Stone shook for a second , he then looked around and slowly took a step back on the direction of Birch and delta who agreed to stay and take care of pepper , he had also heard the growl

Pepper shifted in the nest. Her claws twitched as she curled up into a ball in the soft matting. The rumblings didnt disturb her sleep, she couldnt wake up.

North's turned toward the source of the growl, easily spotting the other dinosaur's yellow eyes. He emitted a low growl and stalked forward, standing behind Queen, but slightly to the left. Even North's sharp eyes couldn't decipher the outline of the dinosaur easily. They were large that was for sure, but they made one mistake. Taking on the whole squad on their own.

Their body language said they had spotted me. Good. I took a step into the clearing, enjoying the loud thump it produced. Raptors didn't fear much, but they did understand power. Being pack animals, they knew that the strongest was the one to be feared and respected. I allowed my skin to return to its natural color as I moved out of the trees. My scales shimmered black with a crimson stripe down my back. My long horns were the same shade, with blue tips. I stared down at the group for a moment, then spoke. "Well hello there Queen. Still lording it over your pack of fools I see." I grinned viciously. "Luckily for you, I have no interest in you at the moment. I have some unfinished..." I inhaled deeply, letting it out on the next word. "Business, with one of your squad." I stared at the small grey raptor near the back. "Allow me to settle with her, and I will leave you and the rest unharmed. What do you say, Old Friend?"

Queen scoffed. "You again.." She listened to what the large dinosaur said. "You think I am going to let somebody of your size-" She did slight quotation marks.. "Settle it with her." She sighed. "I know what she did. We already spoke to her about it." She looked him up and down. "And let's be honest, you are too big to be picking on the little kids." She snickered slightly. "How bad did she damage you anyway?"

I laughed, a short derisive bark. "Oh she didn't. If she had we wouldn't be having this conversation right now. And you're right. Normally I wouldn't even bother with a runty thing like her, but it's the principle of the thing. She deliberately attaced me because she disapproved of what I was eating. That's like hurting a triceratops because it was eating carrots. Anyway you've misunderstood. I don't want to mate with her. She's such a runt, who would?" I snapped my jaws inches from Queen's face, staring into her eyes "I want to feed on her."
