(Sorry about not posting, everyone. I will go ahead and get started setting up the tournament list. Since there are only 7 of our characters participating in the tournament, I will add 9 NPCs so it's a tournament of 16. This was the final result so I'll go ahead and create a tournament bracket now. I will also fix the Cabin situation again after I make the tournament bracket.)

Shay knelt beside her Fennekin and pet it gently behind the ear.
"Listen, you and Seviper are gonna have to work hard if we want to win this tournament. We need a grass type just in case we ever go up Aleena and her Water type Pokémon, okay?"

Bell heard the obnoxious beeping of an alarm next to the bed. Sighing, he opened his eyes instead of trying to fall back asleep. He hit the off button on the clock, which didn't stop the beeping. "Oh..." Coming to his senses, he realized it was the obnoxious crying of Keiran. He quickly put on his clothes, worried about his Pokémon. Ian had a wing around Keiran, obviously trying to comfort the crying Shinx. "Ian, come." The Starly tweeted sadly, and flew to sit on Bell's shoulder. Bell same up to his Shinx, noticing a thorn in the Shinx's paw. "Oh... Let me go get something. Stay here, Keiran. Ian, come with me." Bell patted his Shinx, and smiled a little, before hopping out the door, wiping the smile off his face. "Oh... People." He muttured, and went to look around. "I wonder if anyone can help with Keiran. Maybe, just this once, I should try to talk..." He muttered, and when he wiped the smile off his face he forgot to also wipe the worried look off his face.

Mizuko was walking by when she heard the Shinx's cry (it was a shinx right?). "What on earth? Whatever. That trainer can take care of his own mishaps." Nobii was on Mizuko's head and agreed with Mizuko. "~Snivyy~." Mizuko looked back and saw that her Snover was still standing there. "Hurry up, Yuki. We have to go train."

Shay returned to her Pokemon and Nimhe.
"Hey, it looks like your cabin is next to mine so we can go together after I catch a grass-type!" she told her happily while returning her Seviper to its Pokeball.

Aleena smirked at Shay as she walked towards her, her Piplup by her side and her Luvdisc in its Pokeball. "Looks like we'll have cabins near each other. But don't worry, you'll learn to sleep with one eye open." she joked with her Piplup cackling along.

Amara walked out of the dining hall with her partners beside her. "Well, looks like we're gonna have to train harder, probably catch another Pokemon." She noted. Fennekin jumped onto her shoulder and yipped in excitement for battle. Bunnelby happily jumped up in excitement. "We should probably try to find our cabin first."

Blake looked at his team. "We're gonna need to train as best as possible." He told them. "Ches!" "Pid!" They both cried and followed him out.

Mizuko was thinking which pokemon she wanted in her team."Probably a water type, a dragon type, or a ghost type...." She said to herself.

No one seemed to be available, either walking away to train or they weren't out. "Looks like there's no help around here..." Bell muttered. "Star?" Ian chirped. "Maybe..." Bell thought, and grabbed a sturdy looking branch. "I think I might be able to do something... Man do I wish I remembered to pack general first-aid. At least there might be some around here... I might need another sturdy branch though." He was mainly talking to Ian. "Star." The bird chirped. "Makeshift."

With the 'pleasantries' out of the way Fox left the dining hall and took a turn into the near by forest. Once out of sight Fox pulled a pack from her pocket and set a cigarette between her lips. Lucky made quick work of lighting it before he was set down on the ground. "Alright guys," she started, a billow of smoke coming from her lips. "We haven't had many double battles, so we'll need to train hard. That means you two Hawkins, get down." The Eevee voiced it's distaste but hopped onto the ground beside the growlithe.

"Your helping hand is gonna win us matches Hawkins, and Lucky your flare blitze is an ace in the hole. I doubt any pokemon here could take more than one. But you'll need to be careful with the recoil damage."

Shay sighed as she walked through the forest with her Fennekin beside her and a Pokéball in hand.
"This is hopeless, Fennekin, we've seen two grass-type Pokémon while exploring but the Hoppip flew away and the Oddish paralyzed Seviper. You'd think they would have more grass-types in a forest." she complained. Shay took a few steps forward and tripped on something emitting from the ground, landing with a loud thud. A large, pumpkin-like Pokémon rose from the ground. "Puuumpkaboo!" it exclaimed angry at Shay. Shay took out her Pokédex from her skirt pocket and pointed it at the Pokémon.

"Pumpkaboo, the Pumpkin Pokémon. Pumpkaboo often sleep in the ground and as the sun sets, it becomes restless and active. Pumpkaboo can be one of four various sizes, this one is Super Sized." the Pokédex explained.

Shay smiled while putting her Pokédex away. "Cool, this will be our third memb-" Shay started but was rudely interrupted when the wild Pumpkaboo launched an Energy Ball near the ground at her. Shay was flabbergasted and sat frozen in shock. The Pumpkaboo prepared to launch a Shadow Ball at the Pokémon Trainer, but was quickly stopped when Shay's Fennekin launched a powerful Ember attack at the unsuspecting Grass & Ghost type. Shay pulled herself together, admiring Fennekin's protective behavior over her and smiled. "Fennekin, we'll do this together, use Flame Charge!" she ordered. Fennekin cried out as it repeatedly stomped on the ground until a cloud of dust covered its body. Then, it emerged from the cloud, covered in flames, and crashed into Pumpkaboo. Pumpkaboo struggled to get up and Shay found this her opportunity to capture it. "Go, Pokéball!" she yelled while throwing the Pokéball at the Pumpkaboo which hit its head, encapsulating it. It closed shut and fell to the ground, shaking three or four times before blue and white sparkles emitted from the center of the Pokéball, confirming its capture. Shay smiled and picked up the Pokéball. "I caught a Pumpkaboo!" she shouted happily. "Fe-Fennekin!" her Fennekin added on.

(Aleena will catch another Pokémon in my next post. We will also start the tournament in about a day or so. If the character doesn't respond within 24 hours, they will be automatically disqualified.)

Finding another relatively small, but sturdy branch, Bell trotted back to the cabin he was in, and moved the Shinx upside-down. It was the best way to remove thorns from the pads of these types of Pokémon. Gently grabbing the thorn, Kieran flinched a little. The thorn was just out of reach from pulling it by hand, but the sticks worked perfectly and got the thorn out with a small yank back from Bell. He put the Shinx on the ground, and the limping Shinx looked up at Bell leaving the door. "Yeah, we're training. We might find a friend as well." Obviously getting a late start, Bell smiled at his Pokémon, following close behind. "A lake or stream or something is what we need." The Pokémon agreed, content with the decision.
