°Fennekin's Tale°

I felt my paws slip under me as I ran through the mud. I fell. I could hear arcanines barking and growling as it got slowly nearer, slowly until I could feel its hot breath hit my face.

Hello, my name is Ginger! I'm a young fennekin and I bet some are wondering if im a girl or boy? Well I'm a girl! Now I bet your wondering, 'why is she in his mess? How did she encounter this arcanine? Will she live?' well, how about I tell you? But first I think you need to know me better. I belong to a young trainer, Nicole is her name. I want to tell you what she looks like, she has brown hair and brown eyes and loves Pokémon! She did use an everstone on me so I can't evolve. She wants me to stay cute and I do to! Me and her feel a deep connection, deeper than any trainer! She can understand what I am saying! Other trainers can't but since Nicole feels a deep connection with all her Pokémon that she can understand them all! Well not wild pokémon... She has to trust them deeply and so do the Pokémon. Well now let's get on with the story!

Me and Nicole set off to santalune forest, we always liked seeing all sorts of new Pokémon! We had missed a pancham, it had disappeared! I turned around to a bushy white tail in a heather bush. "over there!" I whispered to my trainer and I jumped off her shoulder. It walked out of the bush. "well well well, looks like I've got myself a weak o' fennekin eh?" it taunted me and flicked its ears. "wow a white eevee!" Nicole exclaimed. She seemed happy to see this sassy Pokémon! Too bad she can't hear what it said to me because the eevee doesn't feel a connection yet. The eevee dug into the ground and I sat down and Angeled my ears to the ground and closed my eyes.

I opened my eyes once I felt a rumbling beneath my paws and I jumped up just in time. "use flame blast!" my trainer called. I narrowed my eyes and shot out a burst of flame. It was a direct hit! The eevee dropped to the ground and Nicole threw a pokéball at it. 1...2...3... Caught! We both smiled at each other. I heard a rustling in the bushes behind me, something was here, no, someONE! I stretched my eyes wide and started to push my trainer in the direction of lumiose city. "what's wrong Ginger?" Nicole looked down at me. "Someone's here!" I looked up at her and kept pushing her, but we didn't get far when at least 5 people stepped out of the bushes.

They all seemed to look alike... The same swirly red hair, the red and orange suits, and red shades... A lady stepped forward. "well, looks like we caught ourselves some prey to scorch!" she smirked and took out a pokéball. "wh-who are you?!" Nicole backed up and stood protectivley infront of me. "we are team flare, and we don't need trainers snooping around!" the lady threw the pokèball and a mightyena came out. "go mightyena! Use bite!" the mightyena leaped at me. I knew Nicole was frozen in fear and couldn't call a move. I ran under the mightyena and jumped onto its back. "shake that little scrap off mightyena!" the mightyena thrashed around but I held on tight! I used flamethrower on its back and the mightyena yowled in fury. It threw me off it's back and I fell into a cage! "good job mightyena, boys, take care of the trainer! I got this one." the lady pointed at Nicole. Nicole backed up.

"run!" I called to my trainer. "run away before they get you!" I clawed at the cage while the lady picked it up. I saw Nicole run in the way of lumiose and the other team flare people run after her. "well, looks like your ours now fennekin! And soon that little girl and you will be out prisoners!" the lady laughed.

The lady had taken me to a shed, it looked ominous and scary... She set my cage down next to a caged litleo. The litleo looked frightened, not to mention I was scared too, I layed down in my cage and looked at the other Pokémon. There was all sorts of Pokémon, litleos flenchlings bunnelby's.... The lady looked down at me, "we will send you to headquarters once we capture your trainer," she turned away and walked out. I suddenly felt like I messed up, I should of just ran away..

I looked up at the shed window, is there a way out? I touched the cage door, it was unlocked... they must of forgot to unlock it! I pushed it open. I saw a syther in a tall cage off in the corner. "Use a move that can cut through the bars of the cage! It will break! All of you who have a move that can cut through steel, use it on your cage and help the others! You can crawl through the window once your out! I jumped out the window and hid In ao bush, only my head poking out. After a bit, lots of pokemon were jumping and flying out the window. A vulpix came up to me and hid in the same bush. "Can you help me?" It asked. I looked at it. "What?" I tilted my head, what is more important to this vulpix? Getting away or asking me to fetch something? The vulpix looked up at me. "Can you find my Firestone? Its in a hole in the royal tunnels..." the vulpix pleaded. why not do it yourself? I sighed.

I had accepted to find the firestone, the royal tunnels arent far from here. I walked through santalune forest, its around here somewhere.. aha! I looked down at a hole. It was big, big enough for an articuno to fit through! The lights went along the walls. I stepped in, what is in here? Where is the stone? I looked down, yes! There it is! I bent down to grab it but I heard a growling behind me... "what are you doing here with MY Firestone?" A growlithe stepped closer, it touched the Firestone and started to glow, it had evolved into arcanine! Oh no! It was bigger than me!

A storm started to break out, not long, the ground turned muddy. I shot out of the royal tunnels, the arcanine was following, I started to run
but I felt my paws slip under me as I ran through the mud. I fell. I could hear Arcanines barking and growling as it got slowly nearer,slowly until I could feel its hot breath on my face. I looked up at it, it looked as if it would eat me alive! "you shouldn't of come to these tunnels! Because maybe you would not be turned into a sna-" it broke off as a gengar appeared between me and the arcanine, this gengar looked familiar... this was Nicole's gengar! 'Gengar its you!" I smiled and stood on my paws. "Ginger?" A voice came from a tree, it was Nicole! "Ginger how on earth did you escape team flare? I'm so happy to see you!" Nicole jumped from the tree and picked me up.

I'm glad I survived all that! Well now, me and the other pokemon are going to play now! bye!
