I would like to see some military inspired pokemon for a 4th of July event. i think it would be great to honor veterans who have given the freedom's that we have. Some Pokemon that i think would be neat would be like houndour with a vest like the IED sniffing dogs that military or growlithe but they had him in an event already. Since Magmortar has mortar in his name already it would be cool to see his form actually set up as a mortar launcher. Smeargle instead of holding his tail could be holding an M-4 carbine. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Please don't suggest new event pokémon at the moment, we are currently working on new event distribution.

I understand not being able to suggest new events but that quote you used doesn't really fit the context because Riako was referring to legendary Pokemon. Quoted from here

About the suggestion: I remember when I first started that for any event Pokemon ideas, the person should PM the spriters about the ideas. Mainly because each event is a surprise to the users and they probably wouldn't want to implement an idea that's been stated in the suggestions. However since one of the spriters said not to I guess that we should suggest events to begin with?

I'll be honest though. The idea for the event sounds really good

It's tricky to know what everyone has said before. I have only been playing a few weeks so a lot of elements aren't explained when you first start. i just thought the idea would be great if I have to recommend through PM I will gladly do that.

No support, not for what the others have said but for the obvious....This is a worldwide site, not even run by americans. A fourth of july event would add nothing, except to imply america is better for its "freedoms"

(*cough* the moral of independence day has always been america is better than the rest of the world....)

I tried to say that were currently working on very huge (If it's gonna be, depends on Riako) Event distribution thingy so I don't think we have time for this kinda event ;3

The 4th of July in not America's way of saying they are better than others. If that is what you believe you severely need to brush up on history..

Nessy: we already have Japanese, Mexican(though admittedly it was not done by an official staff member), and German styled Pokemon. It's not too much of a stretch to have Pokemon styled after other countries as well? So I don't understand how it would add nothing each new event adds something to the table.

at the end pokeheroes is a funny browsergame for kids, and even if history is an important part of life, is pokeheroes not a place for teaching it.
I'd support your thought of 'Peace', 'Freedom' and 'Independence' if it's not bound on a real event. the idea of a Freedom-day of Emera town sounds a bit better to me ;>
