Long ago, a tale was told of legends joining humans to embark on a quest against dangers of land, sea and even space itself. Today, just that would happen. You are person, with your own plans whether it be to start a business, continue your education, become a researcher or go on a Pokemon adventure, and without any forewarning, a Pokemon of myth, a [legendary Pokemon] joins you. The legendary doesn't inform you on why it's joining, but tells you that you should be prepared for a life of hardship and the unexpected. Not knowing what else to do, you go along with the plan. However, instead of capturing the legendary Pokemon, you would summon it using a special item it gives you, such as an orb, mysterious tablet, feather, or necklace. It gives you the item and depends on you not to lose it and let it fall onto the wrong hands.

Also, 'coincidently' all of the people these legendaries join are in the Kalos Region.

The only people she could even consider calling family, is the gang of the area, which is nice despite looking cruel and intimidating. Her life consisted of horrible things, all the way from being blackmailed at school, to being spied on at the mall. Following the course of all these events in her life, she decided she'd change her name to Psi, being that she was Greek. She even went as far as to. change the color of her hair from brown to black and dress differently. After Yveltal joined her, she decided she'd go on a Pokemon adventure, but her real dream is to continue her education and possibly get a really good job, such as becoming an architect.

Ashley
P She is an ordinary-looking Egyptian woman, but don't let that fool you. She is very smart, clever and a master at handling and using explosives. If there was a job including these dangerous items, or even Pokemon, she'd be the one the gang would call to get the job done and get it done right.

Laura
She is fierce and strong, carrying herself with pride and her Mohawk. However, deep down, she's a bubbly and caring person and sometimes shows that to her closest friends. She is very agile and uses that to her advantage.

Tom
Probably the least predictable of anybody in the gang, he is well known for being a loose cannon. He is very good at assessing any situation and can usually make mature decisions well.

Title: Accepted and the RP begins now!

Psi took in a waft of the nice breeze. It still had hints of Autumn in it, but even so, it was distant. She rocked back and forth on the chair that the neighbors threw out for somebody to take...a long ago. It was in pretty bad condition, but Psi liked it that way. She wondered were her gang friends were. Usually she'd hear them from a distance. Shrugging, she closed her eyes and leaned back. She petted her friend's Eevee, which was known to sneak out of her house in unknown ways.

Suddenly, the sunlight became a blood-red color. She looked at the sky along with the Eevee to see a huge, imposing figure blocking the sunlight and reflecting its own color. It was a Pokemon she'd seen in only books of Kalos myth; Yveltal. She had thought it would just continue flying, but to her surprise, it came down and landed on the ground, creating a small quake in its landing. She instantly jumps up and steps back. The Eevee did the same, except it went in front of Psi and gnarled at the legendary. Yveltal looks at Psi with its fearsome, but beautiful blue eyes and then speaks in an echoing voice. "Hello there, Psi. I have come to join you as your Pokemon."

Psi just stared at it with a shocked expression. She had never owned a Pokemon before and had never intended to have such a powerful Pokemon from the start. Not to mention how random it all was. She answered back with a shaky voice: "I-I don't have any Pokeballs, though..." "No need. Take this instead..." It opened up the "claw" of its wing to reveal a red, arrow-shaped scale that wasn't attached to its body. The scale let off a bit of smoke as the legendary let it come in contact with air.

Psi took it and examined it. The legendary explained: "It is called the Crimson Scale. If I ever have to leave for any reason and you need me, hold it up and call my name. I will appear in a matter of seconds." The legendary spread its wings, ready to take off. "I'm afraid I have some business to take care of, for the time being. Oh, also... Never lose the item or entrust it to someone else." Psi nodded and then it flew into the sky and disappeared.

Psi, however, sat there staring at the scale in disbelief. A powerful Pokemon of myth joining me? Why? It didn't bother to explain that much. I should've asked when I had the chance. She sighed. Just then, an idea came to her mind. She would go on a Pokemon adventure. With a Pokemon that powerful on her side, it was definitely a possibility. If that were to happen, though, she would have to keep both that and the item a secret from her parents. "Hey, Psi! What's up?" She heard her friends calling to her. She quickly slipped the Crimson Scale into her pockets before greeting them.

Drake was sitting out on the patio of his house, reading a book. He heard the smoke alarm go off, but he paid no attention to it, as it sometimes did that even though there wasn't anything happening. The sunlight flickered, and vanished for a couple seconds, and Drake heard something crackling. He put his book down, and looked around, finally laying eye's on a Moltres that had showed up out of nowhere, and was looking back at him. Drake summoned up enough courage to talk, and said "Moltres? What are you doing here?"

Moltres flapped his wings, and smiled "Don't be scared, Drake, for i have come to join you, and be your pokemon"

Drake fell backwards in shock. He couldn't believe that a pokemon wanted to join him, much less a legendary at that. Moltres walked up the stairs, and went towards Drake slowly, finally saying "Here, you'll need this to summon me, should you need to.... Don't let it out of your sight, or give it to anybody else, or you will be at my mercy....." Moltres then placed a Molten Coin in Drake's hand, and flew away. Drake watched Moltres fly away, speechless. He then looked at the coin, and went inside to prepare for the next day.

Jonah looked down at the pitiful guy at his feet. The dude's gang had actually had the nerve to assault one of his brothers and thus, a simple retaliation had been in order. One of his brothers, Mark, spit on the uncoscious man on the ground and turned to leave. Jonah didn't know whether the opposing gang member was still alive or not and didn't bother to check.

He looked down at the unlucky guy with guilt ripping him in half, the guy was barely 18 for god's sakes and probably hadn't even taken part in his brother's assault. But someone had to pay and the kid had been careless enough to wander alone at the border of their territory. He saw Mark and David, the two guys he had taken with him, start leaving and took the poor fella's phone from his pocket. He punched in the emergency number and gave the street address before dropping it on the unconscious kid on his feet. Jonah turned around and left without looking back.

After he returned to the warehouse his gang occupied, he flopped down on a worn-out couch and let out a long sigh while running his fingers through his hair. He hated days like these, which were pretty much every damn day. Riley, a new recruit who was way too young to be a part of the gang in his opinion, sat down beside him grinning like an idiot, "I heard you avenged Tommy with Mark and David." He was way too excited for Jonah's liking and he just shrugged, wishing Riley would leave him alone. No such luck. "Why didn't you take me with you?"

Riley had been quite close to Tommy and obviously would've wanted to take revenge himself. Which was why Jonah wouldn't have taken him with him no matter what. He stood up from the couch ruffling Riley's hair, "Because you're just a kid. Go home." Jonah saw Riley pouting from the corner of his eye as he left and a smile ghosted his lips, the kid was quite amusing sometimes.

He took out his motorcycle keys as he stepped outside, he needed to get home and get a long hot shower. As he lifted his gaze he was more than surprised to see Mewtwo standing beside his motorcycle. "Wha...?" He couldn't get more than that out of his mouth before the legendary threw something at him. He barely caught it due to the shock and looked down on it with confusion. It appeared to be a ring that resembled a bullet. As he was looking at it, dumbstuck, Mewtwo spoke, "You can call me with that ring. Don't let it out of your sight." When he lifted his gaze, the legendary was already gone. Jonah slipped the ring into his finger, it fit perfectly.

[(Alright, I didn't intend this to be THAT long. XD
Also, Jonah calls his fellow gang members his brothers. For the record, he has no biological ones. :p)]

(Finhawk: I know right? These always come out longer than intended.)

It was Tom who had spoken, but Ashley and Laura followed close behind, looking determined and excited. These three became best of friends because of the simple fact that each of them wore exactly three rings on each ear. Psi could never figure out what that was all about. They must've been trying to do something to seem unique, like a lot of people seem to do, these days.

"The usual, giving up on day plans and just relaxing. Oh, and Laura, you've gotta figure out something for this devious little guy. Not that I don't enjoy his company." Psi pointed at the Eevee which was licking its fur innocently. "Anyways, what happened with you guys, today?" Tom answered with a hint of stoicism, "A fight went down, but don't worry, we didn't fight." Psi sighed and put her hand on his shoulder. "Good... I don't want to see you guys hurt and barely able to stand and walk."

"Don't worry about us, we know the whole deal." Ashley answered with a hint of empathy in her voice. "Yes, I trust you guys to make the decisions that won't get you hurt or in trouble. Anyways, I've been considering something lately: I really want to go on a Pokemon adventure." They looked at her confused. "That's random. Why tell us this, now?" Laura asked.

"Well, I've always feared the idea, mostly because my parents would find it completely unacceptable. I was afraid to go out into the open world, but I've considered that if I say it to someone, or some people, close to me, it'll sound more realistic...and maybe I can build up the confidence to do it." They all nodded and smiled. "I think you made the right decision. I hate to be the one admitting this, but being around gangs and violent parents just doesn't cut it. I don't want you getting in trouble or spied on because of us, especially since you are innocent." They all nodded at Tom's statement.

Laura stepped forward and spoke next. "You will come back and visit us, right?" "Of course! As a matter of fact, I plan on coming back after getting my first gym badge and then head off, again." Ashley was the one to address something Psi has forgotten: "How will you get your first Pokemon, though?"

Psi froze there, for a second. She stared at the ground, wondering what to say. "Oh, yeah..." Was all she could say. She planned on using the legendary, but she forgot that she should keep this a secret. She was smart enough to know that revealing that you own a legendary to anyone was purely a bad idea. Laura giggled and said, "I'll lend you this little dude. He always sneaks out to greet you, so I don't know any reason why you wouldn't get along." "Oh, would you? Thanks so much, Laura!" She hugged Laura and just as she was about to leave, the other two stopped her.

"Pssh, we're not gonna leave you with nothin' from us! Here." Tom pulled something out of his pocket. It looked like an eaten apple. "These are leftovers. I heard they help to heal a Pokemon, but I never knew for sure since Pokemon battling isn't really my thing." Ashley looked embarrassed as she pulled something out of her own pocket. "Erm, all I have is this coal. It helps power up fire Pokemon. I don't use it since my only Pokemon is Espurr."

Psi looked at all the stuff, feeling happy and motivated. "Hey, that's great! No need to feel ashamed about this! You guys are all the best. I'll start packing up, now." Psi went into her house quietly and peered around. Nobody was home. She sighed in relief and went to cabinet where her parents kept a few Pokeballs and other items. However, she decided it would be safest if she only took 7 Pokeballs. She had a good amount of money with her already, so she had no real need to take more. She began preparing everything else, too.

After standing there awkwardly staring at the ring for a while Jonah finally snapped himself out of the confusion that was whirling through his head and proceeded walking towards his motorcycle. He grabbed his helmet from the handle, letting his gaze roam the bike. Everything was exactly like he had left it. Even if he left the keys in the ignition, he was sure no one would dare to touch it.

Jonah rested his hand on the frame with a light touch, as if caressing the motorcycle, gazing at the perfect paintjob. He pulled his hand back, sighing and put the helmet into his head. He jumped on the bike, taking the pedestal off and revved the engine, speeding off towards his home with a million things going through his head.

He arrived at his house a while later, parking his bike in the garage and hopping the steps inside. He had left the door open when he left, no one had the guts to even come close to his home. So when he forgot to lock the door, he didn't need to worry about being robbed. Jonah threw the motorcycle keys onto the kitchen table and walked through the house into the bathroom. He really needed that shower.

[(Kept it a little shorter this time. :p
I also realized I had been spelling 'motorcycle' wrong through my last post. I'm gonna edit and fix it, I can't stand such silly flaws in my writing. XD)]

(I do stuff like that all the time. Don't worry, I didn't even notice. xD)

She packed everything needed: all the Pokemon items, and food. Now, she just needed to buy some camping equipment from the store. After she packed the stuff, she stepped out the door and went back to where the three were before. However, this time, it was more than just the three there. A good amount of people were there, friends and strangers. The people who did know her spoke.

"Hey, we heard you were going on a Pokemon adventure." Psi nodded. "Yeah. I need to change the course of my life, a bit, ya know?" "Yeah... We don't really have anything to give you to help you out. Sorry, all the stuff I had was used." "Don't worry about it. Just having everybody I'm close to here is enough to make me happy and this won't be the last time I stand in this town. I'll be back, for sure."

One-by-one, she made her good byes and then went on her way to the big store to buy the last bit of stuff she needed. She saw Laura, on the way. Laura also saw her and came up to her. "Hey, once you've captured your Pokemon, just tell Eevee to go back home. He'll know the way." "You sure? What if he gets kidnapped?" "Don't worry, nobody'd steal anything from our gang."

"Alright, I'll take your word for it." Psi decided to take a shortcut and went through an alleyway. She highly doubted anybody would attack her, anyway, and if they did, she could always summon Yveltal. It was quiet and dark in the alley; nobody was around. As she was walking, Yveltal appeared next to her, walking along. "Um, hey." She managed to say. Yveltal laughed a deep and hoarse-sounding voice.

"I saw a few gang members that were an enemy to this town's gang. I'd be careful, if I were you." Psi looked at Yveltal in surprise, "I see... That's not something that happens often, but it guess it's not impossible." "Your gang is a stubborn bunch. They'd attack anybody who was from another gang without getting to know them." "My gang?" Yveltal ignored that comment. "I love watching people destroy each other and then there's the one person who has no idea what's going on. Maybe that's why I decided to join you."

Psi gave it a cold look. "Who told you that I have no idea what's going on? I know clearly what happens in this town." "I bet you do." Yveltal said with a hint of sarcasm in its voice. Psi decided it was best to ignore the legendary. It was, no doubt, trying to cause conflict. That's the destruction Pokemon, for ya. As she walked out of the alleyway, she saw a strange, abandoned-looking building, in the distance. She had never noticed it before, but that might be because she didn't venture in this part of town very often.

The legendary laughed harshly as it saw the confused look on her face. It said, in a whispering motion, "Your friends go in that building everyday." She turned away from the legendary and began walking faster. "It's true that they didn't tell me where there their base was, but that's because I never really asked about it. It's not that important, to me. Look, they're part of a gang, I'm not and don't plan on doing so. I don't need to pester them about this kind of stuff."

"Exactly what I mean when I say that you don't know what's going on. You don't even try. If you want to know what I mean, go inside the building." Psi looked at the legendary with shock. "No, I would not do that! My friends could get in trouble for that, rather than me. The whole gang knows about me, they'd think my friends told me about it. I don't want to put them in that kind of situation."

Yveltal was amused. "You're afraid of THEM getting in trouble? How funny." Psi looked at him in the corner of her eye. "They wouldn't hurt me." "Don't be ignorant." "Ugh, whatever. Anyways, I wouldn't go into the building, even knowing they wouldn't." "Why do you care about those people so much?" Psi thought about that question for a second. She didn't want to answer it to the legendary, though.

She knew it'd probably just laugh, again, so she ignored it. The legendary shrugged and began straightening its feathers. "Alright, I don't want anybody to see you, so if you could..." Psi motioned the legendary to leave. "Fine." It said and vanished into dark matter, which disappeared after a couple of seconds.

Flarimew: Should've PMed me, but accepted.

(Haha. :P)

Psi made sure Yveltal was completely gone before walking into the areas with people. She was happy that the legendary warned her of potential dangers, but she thought that it was being a bit too harsh. As she walked to store, she stole a moment to look back at the building. "Go inside if you want to know what I mean." She shook the thought from her head. She knew her friends kept secrets from her and didn't care. Why should she start now?

All that mattered was that they were like family and were willing to help her out when needed. She shouldn't go snooping into their business just because a legendary tempted her to. She went and bought the camping equipment, and then set out to go to the wild Pokemon areas. Eevee was busy sleeping on her shoulders, so she though this was her chance to test out Yveltal's skills. She looked around to make sure nobody was looking and then took the Crimson Scale out of her pocket. She held it up high and yelled. "Yveltal, I summon you!" In the most epic way she could imagine.

Yveltal flew here and landed on the ground. "You sounded ridiculous." It commented. She ignored it and said, "I'm going to test out your battling skills. You don't mind, do you?" It shrugged. "Nah, why else would I have joined you?" "Alright, as soon as a Pokemon pops out of the wild grass-"

As soon as she spoke, a Fletchling came out. She commanded Yveltal to use Hurricane. However, the move knocked out the Fletchling in one hit. She stared wide-mouthed. She tested it against a few other Pokemon; same results. She sighed. "Never mind, I'm using Eevee." The Pokemon woke up at the sound of its name. Thanks to the Eevee, she captured her first Pokemon, Fletchling.

Psi jumped in excitement, having captured her first Pokemon. After that, she hugged the Eevee, gave it a treat, and sent it back home. "What about me?" Yveltal sounded a lot like a kid when it said that. She couldn't help feeling pity for it. "Oh, yeah! You did great, too." She threw it two treats. It ate them both in a matter of seconds. "Wow, those are actually pretty good." It said. "Glad you like them. I'm gonna go heal my new team member." Yveltal nodded and disappeared.

She went to the Pokemon Center, which had been tagged a lot on the outside, but was perfectly good on the inside, thankfully. She healed Fletchling and then went to Laura to check up on Eevee. She sat on the old chair petting it. "Glad to see it made it back safely. Thanks to you and him, I got this little gal." Psi sent out her her new Fletchling. "Cool! I'm sure you'll raise it be an awesome fire hawk." "Thanks. Maybe once I get a lot of gym badges, I'll fly here on it."

Psi went back to the wild grass area and went on her way to Satalune City. This should be easy. With a Fire and Flying type, the Bug Gym should be a piece of cake.

~In a distant place.~
Mewtwo: Trying to involve your person with mine. Very smart of you, Yveltal.
Yveltal: You know me a little too well, Mewtwo. I don't like that.
Mewtwo: Well, regardless, I'd say your person is just as stubborn as the gang, according to your perceptions. She's not going to give in easily. Give it some time, I'm sure fate will bring all the Guardians' Trainers together at one point or another.
Moltres: Mewtwo has a point. Humans have free will, some more than others. Therefore, we can't control their decisions. They will meet up, though. There's no denying that.
Yveltal: I'll make sure it happens soon than later, watch me.
Mewtwo: *sigh*

Drake sighed, and decided to try catching the first thing he saw, which was a treecko. He tried catching it for hours, but had absolutely no luck. Moltres sighed, and flew in with some Pokeballs, and handed them to Drake, who finally caught Treecko

Jonah sighed as the hot water ran down his back and closed his eyes, enjoying the relaxing feeling. He brought his hands on eye level after a while and looked them over, they were littering with scars and bruises and were still sore and red after what happened that day. Maybe he should cut down the punching bit when beating someone up. But in the end, he would never use any weapons either when the other was unarmed, it was just cowardly. And it was surprisingly easy to kill someone with a peace of pipe and he preferred not to be a serial killer of some sorts.

His thoughts snapped to Mewtwo as he spotted the ring still in his finger, he had forgot to take it off before entering the shower. Why would a powerful legendary pokemon choose him as their partner, or something of that sorts, anyway? Him of all people!? It just didn't make any sense, he was a criminal who will most likely end up in an early grave in a couple of years. He sighed, turning off the water and stepping out. It was no use trying to make sense out of any of it.

He headed back towards the kitchen after he had put some clean clothes on and pulled out a can of soda from the fridge. He leaned against the kitchen counter, taking a sip from the can and pulled the ring from his finger. He took a close look at it, examining it. It didn't seem like anything special, just a boring ring. He considered calling for Mewtwo and putting him to explain it all but decided against it. It was no use wasting both of their time, he would call the legendary when he needed him. The only thing he needed now was a little piece and quiet.

However, Jonah wouldn't get any piece and quiet anytime soon as the phone in his pocket started vibrating. He frowned, looking at the caller id. It was Bobby, one of those rare people above him. He answered with a slightly annoyed tone, "What's up?"
'There's a showdown at the east end of our border, guess the Black Venom didn't take the fall of one of their own too well. Go there and make sure they get what they came for.'
"Right away." Jonah snapped the phone shut a bit too harshly. He really wasn't feeling like taking part in one of those pointless street fights again but he had a good reputation in handling them well. Too good. He grabbed the motorcycle keys from the counter and headed for the door. He was almost out when he noticed the ring was still on the table. With a frustrated hiss he went back to get it and slipped it back into his finger. He was speeding down the street soon after.

[(I kinda felt like inventing some names for the gangs to keep it less confusing.
Black Venom: The other gang
The Viles : Jonah's gang (A.K.A. The Vs)
I know, lame names but I've got no imagination. XD)]

(Those are actually some cool names.)

As Psi walked through the tall grass, training her Fletchling and walking towards her destination, she noticed a motorcycle that didn't look like any she had seen. This made her a little nervous, since Yveltal had warned her about enemies. And at the most convenient time, Yveltal decided to come. It landed and rested on the bike. "Yveltal! G-Get off!" It ignored her, however, and spoke in a taunting voice, "Ah, so the enemy was here. This should be entertaining. You should come with me to watch."

"Ugh, no! I don't support those types of actions." Yveltal laughed. "Oh, pity you. Well, I'm go-"

"Hey, is that legendary Pokemon really resting on my bike?" Two guys came running in this direction. Psi slowly turned her head to see two big gang members. She didn't recognize them at all, which gave her a bad feeling about them. "Yveltal you idiot." She muttered under her breath. "Do you have something to do with this?" One said, which the other one followed up with, "We heard that little comment."

Psi didn't know how to respond. Sweat poured down as she pondered what to do in this kind of situation. However, Yveltal and Fletchling were quick to act. Yveltal jumped and landed in front of Psi, the two enemies jumping back to prevent from being landed on, and Fletchling landed onto its shoulder. The two paid no attention to Fletchling, but they were clearly worried about being assaulted by a powerful legendary. "Leave." Psi managed to say in a calm voice, despite being really nervous.

"I don't think so." One said and then both sent out two Meowstic, one male and the other female. Psi commanded Yveltal to use Hurricane and just to be fair, ordered Fletchling to use Peck. Yveltal brought tons of damage while the enemy Pokemon barely did any. As the battle went, one of the them got a phone call. "Answer. I'll take care of the battle." Psi listened in, even as she stayed focused on the battle. "Ok, ok, we're coming! You don't have to yell." Was what she could hear. Then, he spoke to his partner, after shutting off the phone. "They want us to be part of the fight. I was hoping this wouldn't happen." "It can't be helped. Let's just finished off that thing and leave."

Soon, the two Meowstic were down. The two gang members looked at Psi nervously. Now, the tables were turned. "Looks like I'll be giving you guys the courtesy of leaving early. Go on." They glared at her, but left anyway, since they had no choice. Turns out there was another motorcycle, nearby, that she hadn't noticed. They both rode off on their respective bikes, which looked very similar.

She sighed in relief. "Thanks, Yveltal. I don't think this would've had the same result with just Fletchling." "Don't mention it." The legendary stood up tall and then took off. Psi went and healed Fletchling before going off. Thankfully, the Pokemon Center was very close to the Tall Grass area, so she didn't have to worry about going deep into the city and seeing people hurt each other. She didn't want to see her friends get hurt, and quite honestly, she didn't want to see the enemy getting hurt, either.

She set back towards Santalune, her Fletchling being in top shape, again. It was a miracle that the little Pokemon actually survived that battle. Of course, that was due to the enemy attempting to finished off Yveltal, first. She continued down the path.
