Grabbing the side of the train doorway, he hefted himself and his trunk up and inside and squeezed past all the different smelling people-not necessarily smelling good either-and looked for a suitable car where he could somehow make friends and mingle with his fellow wizards and see if anybody knows boutiques near Hogwarts so he could keep up with Donatella Versace's season.
He hobbled gracefully towards the first car and looked inside to see some mean-looking kids glaring at him as he approaches the sliding door. Well, I guess I won't be sitting here, Harley thought. With a flick of his blond bangs, he strutted to the next one. It wasn't actually really bad on that car. The kids were all incoming first-years and they were pretty excited as he was. The only problem is, they were loud and coughidioticcough. They talk about nonsensical things and it was annoying Harley. So, he politely took his trunk out of the caddy and told them that he had a friend waiting in another car.
He had time left until the Hogwarts Express departs for the school. So with a frustrated sigh (he won't be sitting in the hallway anytime soon), he went inside the third car and crossed his fingers. Inside, he saw older looking teens looking serious yet having fun at ease with their companions. Some of them were bringing books with them and reading, and some were talking about stuff that interested him. The words Runes and Arithmancy most especially intrigued him. Now these are my kind of people, he thought. He scanned the car for a seat and found one next to a girl silently contemplating something ((Caythrin)). "Hello there, mind if I sit with you? I have been looking for a seat for ages and this one seems more suitable than any other. Man, I'm sweating inside my designer shirt and pullovers, how gross. I'm Harley by the way, and you?" He tilted his head to the girl.
Griffona looked around out the window and saw her mum apparating to the school.
Inside the owl cage, his Snowy Owl called Mint hooted as if in recognition of his voice. As they talked, the train continues to move on.
Crysia wistfully glanced out the window, the grassy surroundings unfamiliar to her. She was used to cobblestone roads or marble floors, like the ones in the city. She enjoyed the sight of it, but not the thought of leaving her father behind sickened her. My father is sick. I should have every right to stay and tend to him instead of that wretched woman. Crysia thought bitterly, her arms crossing. Her mother wasn't in good shape to take care of her father. In fact, her mother shouldn't even of had the right to own Crysia and her brother. We should both be in custody, with our father sick and that woman as our guardian. She thought, stroking her Kneazle's golden ears. The cat-like creature yawned and curled up on Crysia's lap to fall asleep. Her mother had only gotten Crysia the Kneazle so she would shut up. She belonged to a wealthy pure-blood family, but didn't speak of it much. I hope I don't get Gryffindor. She thought, shuddering at the thought of being in the same house her mother had been. Crysia didn't want to turn out like her mother had. Her Kneazle's breaths began to steady, and Crysia stopped stroking her pet and rested her chin on the back of her hand to ponder about her future life at Hogwarts.
Griffona slept and as she did her animagus wolf skills came into place and she turned into a wolf. When she woke up she realized this and turned back to a human, her orange tabby cat purring.
"Come on Firestar, let's go see if any others know us..." she said.
"Hi! What's your name?" she asked the girl within.
Caythrin looked around.
"We should be starting soon..." she said before looking out the window at the few late arrivals. Then she looked outside the window and excised herself.
"Erm... I've got to check something, BRB!" and she was off. She was checking on the Weasleys. There was, as scheduled, another one this year, but there was another kid that she had suspicions about. She went into a compartment that had two first years in it.
"Hello! Who.. are you?" she asked the boys. "You're Ron Weasley, aren't you? But who're you?" she asked the other boy. "Are you... I heard rumors... But... You're Harry Potter, aren't you?" she asked excitedly. He nodded and she flew out of the compartment and back to her own. "I saw Harry Potter! He's on the train!" she burst out to the others.
Crysia snapped into reality, looking down from the ceiling (ceilings were her saviors from the trouble going on around her) towards the girl and her Kneazle. "My name is Crysia. Third year," she said, struggling not to waste her chance in befriending the girl. She seems like a fun one, Crysia observed. "What's your name?" She asked.
