Just as the illusion spell set in, a giant blood-red scorpion rose from the back of the cave. It hissed and scurried around. Kiya gaped and whispered "Oh no... I knew it would be big, but..." She trailed off

Kiya gulped. "Let me check..." She whispered worriedly. She pulled out her battle log and pointed it at the scorpion. "20 HP taken every attack that hits, 4 full bars of HP. GOD, that thing's attack is one third of our entire HP!" She explained, looking terrified

The scorpion turned away from their hiding place, and she grew her wings out. She twirled into the air, unsheathing her swords, and dove down toward the scorpion, inflicting a bit of damage. The scorpion moved at suprising speed, lunging, dodging, spitting acid. Kiya was getting tired. "Switch!" She yelled. INFINATE STRIKE! She mouthed.

flare ran up but did not get out her sword and said, "INFINATE STRIKE" and flare turned into fire and ran up to the scorpion and hit it with the fire coming off her. the scorpion lost 3 full bars of hp. Flare yelled "Switch! Can you finish it off?"

"Yup. Let me heal you first, though." *Heals Flare. Kiya dodges a stab from the scorpions poisonous pincer and lunges. "KYAAA!" Kiya shouts, and a tornado of leaves kills the boss. Kiya looks down. "Pretty good drops." She says

Fubuki wandered around town. She noticed a shop and looked went in to check out the swords and armor in there. "Hello Sir." She said greeting the shopkeeper. One sword caught her eye but she realized she didn't have enough money so she left.

Demonica went around town for a bit buying potions and teleportation crystals. Since she does lots of quests, she had enough to also get a new claymore with a special upgrade. Though she has no clue what the other special upgrade was, all the blacksmith said was, "You'll see when in battle."
"That guy was a bit of no help... Meh. As long as this Buster Claymore.Exceed works better then the original, I'm fine with it."
She lifted her claymore over her right shoulder and walked towards the field to head for floor 8.
