separate medal rally for non-premium
Forum-Index → Suggestions → Rejected → separate medal rally for non-premiumWith such a variety of players from all over the world, it's simply impossible to give everyone an equal opportunity with the medal rally. And actually, that's how it is in real life too. Take athletes for example. You could argue that someone with a poor background has a disadvantage to someone who is rich because the rich person would have better access to equipment and training. But if the poor person works hard, they can still win. And how much more will he appreciate the win than the rich person, because he had to work harder to get it.
No, it isn't probable for very user to be able to get on the medal rally, but that's due more to the issues I mentioned earlier than whether or not someone is premium. For the medal rally to be 100% equal for everyone, each player would have to have their own individual rally, and where's the point in that?

People shouldn't have to spend their rl money. This is Pokeheroes, not Pokefarm
Second, no support. The premium does not actually have that much of a gain, I promise. I actually buy flutes because premium does not have that much of an interaction gain (#1)
For the egg one, I know several people without premium who constantly participate in that. As stated before, Premium members like shiny hunting (generalizations) and therefore aren't hatching 300+ eggs a day.
The berry one is about your own patience and time
And coinflip, that one needs it's own fixes (autoclick much?) but, once again, anyone can play.
And you wanna know how to find feeds selling nuggets? Click a hashtag, and type "nuggets" into the search bar, then look, here occasionally, or search the trade shops (because I saw several just today with "selling nuggets" in the title)

I was premium a few times and it does give you a significant amount more.
Also, this suggestion isn't for the berry feeding and coin flip medal rallies, it's for the other two where being a premium gives you a big advantage.
Apathetic, huh? Despite the fact that I have EARNED the nuggets for three months of my Premium, as I can't afford to BUY it at the moment?
I was stating from experience that you can earn the nuggets if you really want the gain from it. And it's actually not as much of a boost as you seem to think, watching several non-premium users get ahead in the medal rally many times, only to not win because they stop being active during that span of time.
I still stand by the fact that this is not needed, because it would make getting medals WAY too easy for users like me. (Where the only reason I'm not on the medal rally is because I don't shove rare-candies down their throats, but am always really close to the medal rally ranks with or without premium active)
It's not due to a lack of empathy for other users, but more from an understanding from all sides that I seriously feel that adding this would be unfair. And I honestly feel that the sole fact that you can earn a premium instead of having to buy it is enough of a counter for this feature. If you had to pay to be premium, and it did give as much of a boost as claimed, then that would be a different story.
But, as has already been stated, the main factors for the medal rally is not "Premium vs non-premium" but more
Computer vs other devices
Life vs no life
Internet speed (fast vs slow)
Popular or not (as more popular users get more clicks with less effort)
More watched vs not (Feed raffles having to do with interacting with a specific pokemon for this)
More experienced users with more items, PD, rare pokemon have more of a chance than new users with nothing, for the fact that there are raffles, bribes, and other means that users have won the medal rallies in the past.
And shiny hunters are at a disadvantage with the "most eggs hatched" category due to being restricted to so few egg types, losing the quickest way to hatch a lot of eggs. (the lab)
As most premium members shiny hunt, they aren't at an advantage to that one.
So:
Strongest Pokémon: Premium does have an advantage, but it's not impossible for normal members to get on there, it's possible to get premium without spending money on the site, and I know that users use rare-candies, which can be bought/earned to get on that list more often than not.
Most Eggs Hatched: Wirewolfgirl, whom is a normal user, is currently ranked in second place. If premium really did have a large effect on this one, then third and second places being switched would be more conclusive to this claim. (as there's more than a 300 egg difference between Wire and Dokku, and less than that between Wire and Isk. Which more leans to what the rest of us have been saying)
Most Berries Fed:
As already stated, this has nothing to do with premium or not.
Most Coinflip played: As already stated, this has its own problems, and has nothing to do with premium.
So what this means is that there's only one thing being argued here, honestly, about if premium gives an unfair advantage on. And with the ability to get premium without paying [I feel like a broken parrot by how many times I must stress that there ARE ways to get it without paying anything to the site!] only one out of four of the medals actually affected, and even that one is possible for non-premium users to rank on if they work at it, I feel like this is just beating a dead horse now.
