On another note, I reached 26k Dark Gems the other day!
Also almost at 7k Electric Gems, just a little above 2k with Poison and have about 1.3k something in Bug. :3

Whine/body of text: This isn't exactly a 'whine' but more like a milestone mark. While I don't remember the exact date of my Shiny Hunt, it started about 2 years ago. 2 years I have been hunting Slowyore and my goal has changed from 1 Shiny to a Shiny Mega. And yet somehow I've only hatched 10 Yores of value out of the 452. And I've only hatched 452 in 2 years.
This hunt freaking sucks but I'm too far in to quit now. 0^0

because: i was told hunting for one would be a challenge. I saw I had enough nuggets for 3 months, so I thought, why not make this is big challenge on myself? See if I can get the shiny mega that matches my username in a limited time frame. It was a fun idea, so i just went for it.

Whine/body of text: Oh my god... still no shiny mega... And somebody recently hatched a Shiny Mega Houndoom at chain ~550 IIRC. They hatched the 4th Shiny Mega Houndoom on the site... I still remember when I was going for the first Shiny Mega Houndoom on site... I had no idea of what I was getting into, my hunt started the first week of December in 2014. I broke it and I restarted it on January, but it originally started on December. I thought I was gonna get it at around chain #1000 (it was the highest chain at that time IIRC), or at most chain #2500. I would never have thought that I'd be still hunting it after a year and a half, after hatching ~8350 eggs. Recently I couldn't stand it anymore (along with a bunch of other stuff) and I left the game. I thought I was never going to play here again. But my friend told me on Facebook she was going to leave too, and she was going to give me her Shiny Mega-able Camerupt. I thought I couldn't leave denying her last gift, and I'd still play this for at least a couple weeks, to see how things worked out and how I felt by playing this game. It didn't feel as bad as I thought, but I still wasn't comfortable, the game still wasn't rewarding me by playing and spending my scarce time on it. I still wanted to give it a try, I just couldn't let the Shiny Mega-able Camerupt my dear friend gifted me to simply dissapear in my inactive account and of course I couldn't give it to somebody else. So I decided I would be playing like this, entering every day, trying to hatch all the eggs and trying to play a bit on the new Emera Beach. Now, even though my Shiny Mega Houndoom isn't here and somebody else hatched one (once again), I still think I will be playing this game. But I needed to get this out of my chest, if I wouldn't have done it, I'd probably have left by now.

now I'm currently hunting Gengar cause I like the white ghost....I want too much my mega shiny Gengar

@Gaspoo - That sounds like some seriously bad luck, I hope you don't have to wait even longer to get it. I'm glad you haven't completely given up, because the longer you hunt, the more you deserve it. I wish you the best of luck, and that your shiny mega doesn't keep you waiting any longer ^^

@Micione, are you talking about help for a Shiny Rayquaza hunt? If not, then don't mind this but if you are - personally I don't think help for that hunt should be put in this thread. I understand that Rayquaza has a mega but it isn't the same as getting a shiny mega-able, it is just a regular legendary hunt to be blunt.

VanillaCreme is now Glaffyn.

CometandAqua is now Yoretula.


Professor_Joe is ~Joe~

Italy, uh, I think they are -Oddy now.

Chicken is now Sotku. (They hatched their Shiny Mega, by the way!)

PrototypedSadness is now Biscotti I think.

Flaaffy is Akiruru (but I think most people know that I dunno).

I've decided to rehunt it and try for another since the one I have is from the event shop. I'll probably end up buying an event pass and get it making this pointless
