I use to give my Shiny Claydol a Flavour bath and massage every day. I don't usually look at the stats but today I did. There were the same stats (I had the stats before open in o e tab without refreshing) bit the Attack stat bigger with 14 points. It should have made all if it's stats bigger.

~~From what I remember Riako saying, the changes don't happen directly to the Stats, but to the underlying calculations of them. Leveling up the pokémon should've made the improvements more visible~~

Ignore this, then, I guess :'D
Riako's post gives another possible explanation, though, so this can stay in solved.

Uh nope, the changes should actually be visible right away - it doesn't require a Level up.

It does, however, work just like in the games. Every Pokémon has "Effort Values" - which can be increased by Massages, Vitamin drinks or randomly while interacting. They increase the absolute stat of a Pokémon.
There's a limit of 255 EV Points per stat, though. I guess you had already reached that limit?
