Hello, my idea is there needs to be some more "Features" to make people stay on Pokeheroes.
Pokeheroes is a good site, but not many people join, i thought about what could make people stay and get Pokeheroes alot of new players. It has to be something that everybody likes to do.
Right now Pokeheroes offers alot of good features, that makes the game fun. But we need some more.
I thought about why not make a Tower Defence game on this site? with a little price if you win easy and bigger prices if you win on higher levels.
Everybody loves Tower Defence games, and i know there already exists a Pokemon Tower Defence Game. But it would attract alot of people, and i myself love Tower Defence games. So why not on Pokeheroes.

-Don't hate this is an idea of mine and simply an idea, you may not like it but everybody has rights to post ideas to help optimize Pokeheres.

Those aren't "Not many users" numbers. Plus, the site is still under 2 years old, so the statistics this shows are actually pretty good for how new the site is.

And, from what I can tell, there's not a ton of advertisement being paid for to get PH more known about. (as most advertisement options that would be covered by the site's users would require ads on frequent pages, which I don't see when I'm logged out, so that doesn't seem to be the case.)

PTD is a game in itself. It's not a feature to a larger game, and I don't see how it can be added to the game as a feature without taking away from the purpose of the site itself. And not everyone loves tower defense games. Personally, I find them simple and lack a good challenge (unlike the newest Hangman game), but that's not the point of this post.

I just think it's too large of a feature and a distraction. And if as many people like it as you claim, then it will plummet the interaction counts, make the X2 days take longer to get to, take longer to hatch eggs, or do anything that deals with other users, as most of the users will be ignoring the actual site to play what is supposed to be a minor improvement ;)

Thanks for your suggestion but please understand, it wouldn't compliment the game we already have here. Tower Defense games can be awesome - and pokemon themed ones are already out there - but in my experience... Pokeheroes is way more social, open and relaxed. I don't want to lose that.

I agree a little. they put coin flip game and this is pokeheroes, not coin flip game.

if they put hang man too, they should put another games like tower defense.

Flinp: Coinflip, Lottery, Higher and Lower, Treasure Hunt, and Hang Man are all minor Mini games that are basic, don't have difficulty levels, and are kept simple for a reason. They don't take anything away from the site in any way.

What is being suggested is not something simple, it has to have increasing difficulty to it, it HAS to have a lot more player interaction programmed into it, and it's much more time consuming than the other games currently added.

So saying "Well, they already have grapes on the site, so they should totally add wine as well!" is kind of a moot point, because one is basic and the other takes much more time, effort, and the end result will be hindering to the purpose of the website, if people choose to play that FULL GAME instead of interacting and raising pokemon as is the site's whole purpose.

Agree with Navu. Why such a big game that isn't liked by every of us? I don't like Tower defense. And do you think 33k users is a small number? With 2-3k online every day?

No support for reasons pretty much already stated, and I don't see small number of users either - a lot of them are joining on a daily basis and a lot of us are online daily- I think that statistics are pretty good for the youngs site as PH.

Honestly, I would love to see a simplified mini version of PTD, but with PH's own unique twist to it. None of the other games really appeal to me. This includes the Royal Tunnels, Treasure Hunt, and the Gem Cauldron.

Lets really think about the arguments that have been pointed out thus far.

There are more than "not many users."
- All the more reason to have diversity.

It's a game and not a feature.
- All the games in the center, treasure hunt included, plus the royal tunnels and the gem cauldron are games as well. They are also features here on PH. Each are meant to appeal to different people. Some play all of them, most only play a few or one, some play none.

PH is more about being social, relaxed environment, and a click site.
- All true. A simplified PTD type game wouldn't interfere with this much. It would be much like any of the other features that are beneficial by their diversity.

This is an adoptional site.
- No, it's a click site that also offers other features to appeal to many types of people and their play styles. No everyone adopts, not everyone clicks, not everyone chats, etc...

It's a full game, has no function here, and would hurt PH.
- Not really as it can be simplified, it could be given a use on PH like the other features, and it would offer more diversity and enticement for players who like that kind of thing to stay on longer/come on more frequently.

Interacting and raising pokemon would take a back seat.
- It might.. depending on how Riako would like to take his approach on it. If he wanted, he could make it a way for us to be able to mass release unwanted pokemon. Think of the possibilities.
