I support this as well. Most other forums already have this implemented, and there are quite a few people who use it in them.

Hmmmm... That's a good question, I never thought about that. :d

Maybe something like this:

Finhawk + Paint = Fabulous art that would make even Leonardo da Vinci proud

I'm open to other suggestions regarding this issue though.

Well, I can see your point but that's not entirely problem free. I have a feeling some of those who would still prefer to show their gender would want to have a pokemon instead of a trainer as well and a bunch of complaining and begging would take place.

I can be wrong too but that's how I see it. :I

Perhaps there could be avatar options for all users? Like when you sign up, you could choose what you want as your avatar from a list of options, or you could upload your own. Just a thought...

I'd really approve of this as honestly having the female symbol is really bothering me a lot more than I thought it'd be. =/

For a picture why doesn't it just allow you to pick the avatar you want of some of the different trainer version you want for it or just … I don't know really. I was so quick to change my avatar I didn't even notice there was a default thing.
