Talon finished off his piece
of rabbit, licking his muzzle to clean off some of the blood. He
then moved onto his slightly bloody paws, cleaning them easily of
the sticky rabbit blood that stained them. Otter watched the older
tom finish his meal and soon after finished his own. He did as the
older tom had done, licking both his own muzzle and his own much
smaller claws. The tom paused to watch the younger kit mimicking
his actions, a small purr-like laugh emitting from deep in Talon's
chest. "Trust me kid, you don't want to be like me." Talon meowed
out, crossing his paws in front of him and standing up, stretching
his back legs. Otter paused and tilted his head slightly, lowering
his half-cleaned paw back onto the dirt they had been sitting on.
"Why?" The kit asked in a curious purr, his tail flicking with
curiosity. Talon squinted slightly at Otter, wondering why he was
questing the older tom. "Didn't your mother ever teach you not to
question your elders?" Talon asked as he began walking away from
the kit, not even looking when he spoke to the younger tom. Otter
jumped up, following close behind Talon, his ears now perked high.
"You're not an elder! And besides, you are the only cat I can
question. I wanna follow in your paw steps!" The kit mewled out,
almost losing his footing as he ran up beside Talon and pawed
slightly at the larger tom's nose playfully.
Fawnkit stopped batting the leaf and layed down, she then looked at
the entrance of the Nursery, "What am I to do, there's nothing for
me to do," she said, bored.
Talon wrinkled his nose as the
kit pawed it. He lifted his paw up to bat his own nose as if
swatting away something nasty. Otter grinned sweetly and purred
lightly, rubbing himself against the older tom, earning a soft hiss
from Talon. This only made Otter laugh at his older counterpart.
"You can follow in my paw steps, if yours are as large as mine."
Talon murmurs, pressing his paw deep into the soft earth. He pulls
his paw back, nodding towards the large paw print freshly staining
the dirt. Otter huffed lightly, putting his paw onto the paw print,
his paw easily much smaller than Talon's. Talon smirked and flicked
his tail into the kit. "Not fair!" Otter mewled out, lifting one of
his front paws up to look at it in disappointment. Talon reached
out, lowering the kits paw with his own and beginning to walk once
again. Otter's ear twitched lightly as he followed. The sun was
beginning to warm his fur and make him uncomfortably warm. "Let's
go swimming!" The kit yelped out after an awkward silence. Talon,
having become emerged in the silence, jumped up in a slightly
startled manner, his fur standing on end for only a moment.
"Whatever." The older tom muttered, taking faster paw steps as he
shook off the startled feeling he had just been given. Otter
couldn't help but giggle at the fact that he had scared the "tough"
Talon. The two headed through the forest, heading towards the
lake.

He wandered in like it was his home and started to Clean himself.
Flarepaw noticed him and rushed over as fast as a bolt of
lightning. "Were being attacked!!" She yowled.
(I've been inactive, whatever I'll just get to RPing)
Fawnkit was in the Nursery still, bored, but she decided to just go
to sleep since she will still be bored, "I'm a bit tired anyway,"
Fawnkit mumbled as she curled up in a corner and slept.
He escaped from the cats grasp and sneered, "but what do I deserve
from escaping from the twolegs that mad me do their dirty work,
leaving me to starve and then one day left me with burning hot
heat!"
Talon and Otter reached the
large lake, only having taken them a few minutes to make their way
through the forest. The water glistened brightly, attracting the
young kit. Talon padded up to the water, lapping some of it up
greedily. The droplets clung to his chin fur as he pulled back. The
large tom head over to a large rock beside the water. Otter let out
an excitedly mewl, running forward and pouncing into the water. The
water splashed up, soaking Talon who was close beside the water.
Talon let out a low hiss of disapproval, jumping up and shaking his
fur. Otter's head popped up out of the water, a small gasp for air
following. The kit glanced over at Talon, noticing he was soaked in
water, and went back underwater to avoid being yelled at. "The
water won't save you now!" Talon mewed out, jumping into the water
after Otter. He grabbed the kit by the scruff underwater and pulled
him to the surface. Otter hissed softly as he was dragged onto dry
land and placed down onto the rock. The kit tried to escape but
Talon pressed his paw to the kits tail, trapping him. "Do you see
this? Cat's aren't supposed to like water, we clean ourselves."
Talon mewed angrily at the cowering kit. Otters whiskers twitched
slightly and he purred out, "But I like the water." His eyes darted
back to the paw that was resting on his tail and he tried to pull
away to no avail. "You aren't a cat then." Talon meowed out,
picking his paw up, causing Otter to fall flat on his face. The
older tom hopped onto the rock, curling up slightly and tucking his
face into his stomach. Otter shook some dirt from his face and
grumbled something before heading back into the cool
water.
