This suggestion is going to be useless we don't need to get ride of
the plushies users give us its a GIFT. And it will be Riako who
decides if this will be implanted and to tell you the truth this
will just waste up space if its implanted. There is no need for
this.
I do get where you are coming from but I still don't agree with it.
No support. Plushies are a way of showing friendship and sharing
happiness. They give you a reason to work towards being kind. I
would find it extremely rude if someone got rid of something I
worked hard to give them. It's also rude to report people for
just sending a plushie, a harmless, friendly plushie.
Honestly, I don't support the "throwing away plushies" idea. Sure,
receiving repeats is a little disappointing and there are people
who try to troll by sending Magikarp, but I think the ability to
throw away plushies would lead to worse. Trolls could throw away
perfectly good plushies just to upset the users that gave them the
gift. One case, they pay 5 DPs to give people unwanted plushies.
The other, the DPs of nice users go to waste. I'd rather deal with
the first.
I did see an idea in a different thread that might better help the
situation. The users there suggested a way to mark their favorite
plushies.
Not when someone spams you with 5 or more of the same plushie. That
is neither nice nor kind.
@ Miss - I do not see why it would upset someone. After you send
them the plushie they could do with it whatever they want. If
someone wants to get rid of my gift to them, fine. Just don't waste
any more dp on them. Add them to your own Foe list if you so
desire.
Thank you for the link. I will check it out.
Extremely rude, thank you very much. "1.1 PokéHeroes should be a
friendly community-based browsergame for every age." That was not
very friendly at all towards me.
It's easier to just ignore them, state which plushies you want or
do not want, and just go on with your daily life. Not to mention
Riako already implemented a way to Stop getting
notifications for plushies and other things. You can just
ignore the plushies by unclicking the box.
Not to mention some users enjoy getting multiple of the same
plushie, for example me with Growlithe plushies.
Blocking the notifications still does not stop the plushies from
showing up on my page or in my gift log.
And I have posted which ones I want and DO NOT WANT, but the trolls
still send them.
"1.1 PokéHeroes should be a friendly community-based browsergame
for every age." It is not friendly when there are trolls spamming
me with the stupid karp plushies.
@dragoness129 - It's an etiquette thing. In real life, it would be
upsetting to see someone burning the gift you gave them. Sure, it's
theirs now, but you went through the trouble and expense to give it
to them. Here, the only bad thing that the unwanted plushies are
doing is erasing messages you want to see, and what that other
thread suggested would take care of that. The only reason I'd
actually want to delete a plushie is if the message was something
rude or obscene, and that's what we have mods for.
There is still no reason anyone would have to see the plushie being
deleted or burned. Just do it when they go away. Would someone be
intently watching your page to see if you get rid of their plushie?
That would just seem like a creeper to me.
I posted in that thread.
There are no messages I have ever received that I would like to
keep. I would not mind either way if the messages were there or
not.
If you wouldn't mind having the messages there or not, then why
should it matter if the plushie is there or not? They are the same
thing practically. A gift from another human being on here.
No support. First, yes, you can trade in gifts in real life, but
NOT for the same amount of money it was sold for most times...
Second, you don't include a limit of this. What if
BadBoyUser decides to buy a bunch of Dragonite plushies for
other people, just so they can trade them in later when the limited
plushies come back??
Third, you can't be rude to everyone who disagrees with you.
There does not have to be any trading in because if you want to
simply "trash" a plushie, you would not get anything in return.
That could be one thing they implement instead. That way there is
no gain or loss to anyone else besides the user who got rid of the
plushie and has no way of returning it for anything.
How am I being rude? I am simply having a discussion to state my
point and receive more in-depth discussion in return. Like this, I
am replying with my opinion and would love for you to reply back
with some more discussion on the point.
1. you cant stop people from sending random plushies to random
people thats why its a option in the dream shop called "Completely
random
2. you were being very rude to nova when ever she brought up points
so you need to calm yourself.
3.No support due to the said reason above and the fact with the
completely random will stiff gift you plushie from random people
and how is it harrassment?
4.
this is very rude to other users thus you are breaking 1.1
Which is why we need a way to "block" receiving some plushies.
Because of the random user option. If we had a way to stop them,
then a message could pop up saying "Could not send to user because
they have this plushie blocked." OR it could just skip the users
who have them blocked and send to someone who wants one.
Raiko himself said we all could report users for harassment if
someone sent the plushies after we asked them to stop.
This is in fact rude, thank you very much.... you are essentially
saying her opinion doesn't matter because you don't like her.
Also, you seem to think very negatively of many users. Sure, ____
might not be watching your profile to see if you trash their gifts,
but you just want to get rid of the others to showcase one kind of
plushie. And there are users like myself who like to go around and
adopt a user, complete their collection.
What if someone was doing that and you kept burning their work?
---
Also if you don't think the trade in is needed, create some
separation in the first post. Because saying "Trade in" for your
example is not a symbol of trashing.
