I had bidded on an auction that had an octillary that had a gold box offered in the auction but when I won the auction, I got the octillary but there was no box attached to it. it had no item at all. I had paid 94,826 pokedollars for it

Did you ask the user if he or she removed the box? This might not be the bug at all- The person who put it in the auction house may see that a ton of money was bidded on it - so he or she removed the box and decided to use it again~

i've just tested that theory, and once a pokemon has been put in the auction house, a user can't give or take items from that pokemon anymore

as for why there wasn't a box on it, the only reasons i can think of are that you thought you saw a box that wasn't there or you bid on the wrong pokemon maybe?

AoTora it is possible they did remove it i don't know

autumnstar i triple checked the auction before i bidded on it and it showed a gold box nothing else

It is not, and never has been, possible for items to be removed from a Pokémon once it has been put up for auction. If you got a pokémon, without an item, you offered on the pokémon without an item.
I can understand it's not a pleasant surprise, but it's not a bug.
