There should be an option of giving up in an auction, for example like the photo example, because in some auctions that go on 2 weeks, but then you see other auction that worth the half of the other. You're outbidded and you haven't got enough money to bid. The other auction ends and you couldn't bid. The worst part is that you was outbidded in the other, so you don't get anything.
Or you just get outbidded and you don't want to bid more because you think it's overpaying and it finishes in a week...
You only could have this option when you get outbidded to don't change the winning bid.

I think this would be an amazing feature, because for example, I've been waiting a week until an auction ends where I don't want to bid more.

I really like this and I hope it gets implemented ^ ^ I really hate how I bid really high on this auction and I don't have enough PD for another I see! Just like you stated! Thanks for making this suggestion

@dyblo same with me~ I'm like asking in a feed and then this person is like "There's one in the auction house" So i go and bid and later another friend is like "I have one I can give it to you for free" and It just really upsets me

Full support to this! I really hate when this happens, and sometimes you bid more than you wanted, so it would be good to be able to give up and get the money back ^^"

full support, but i think it would be a good idea, when you give up, you cannot bid anymore, because one player can give up, get his money back, get more money and bid again in the final of the auction and i think that can be unfair.

Why would it be unfair? The hypothetical player is still spending the same amount of money on the auction. When you give up, your bid is reset, so it's not like he's able to give up, get more money, and re-bid to any greater effect than just getting more money and adding to his bid. ^^"

I also give my full support~

Pffft so is better just add something plus your last bid just at the end instead of taking the money and re-bidding xD
This have already been doing since the auction house was created

Le Furri gives full support~ i really hate it when I'm outbid on something and i cant beat the new price, then i have to wait to get my money back .-. and then there's other auctions that i cant get, or buy others things since my money would still be in the auction .-.

(there should also be a way to fix it if you make a typo when you're bidding and bid way too much, like that one time i tried bidding 18k for a Honedge but kinda got hyper when the auction was ending and accidentally bid 812k .-. luckily my friend was the one who made the auction in the first place and he gave me my money back but still qwp)

I think this makes a lot of sense. After all, when you bid on an auction in real life, and someone outbids you, you can decide to give up, take your money, and go and find another item to bid on. You don't have to wait until the auction finishes before you can leave.

OK.Riako,I know that some people give up and try to get it again later,i.e,A user gives up and the other user also gives up and one user try to get it for a low amount when all bidders have given up.For that,2 things.

1.The price offered before giving up acts as the base price.
2.A user who gave up one cannot bid in the given up auction again.

Support!

I was bidding on that very auction in that screenshot, and I can tell you, it got expensive. I ran out of PD eventually, but the auction kept going for a while afterwards, this feature really would be useful!
