I have 100% support.
While most of the reason I haven't participated is because i'm still getting set-up in the game, I can foresee this being a problem once i'm set-up. If I look at the Medal Rally, I see only that the only times mentioned are the 1st and the 15th... if you looked at it immediately after it started, you'd only know by the Current Rally points each person has. Different time-zones mean that people could be active during the switch, meaning people may already have a high score. People might be waiting for it to start, and if they checked a second before it started, they would have no way of knowing if it was about to start. What if a egg hatched right before it started? How would you know if it counts? At the very least, put a notification that a New Rally started when you buy a 'Medal Hunt' item, or a timer on the last day. I have OCD about the tiniest things sometimes, and i'd like to know the exact time. They have timers for Tall Grass, Wide Lens, Safari Zone, Bug-Hunting Contest, Egg Radar Notificator, even the Alarm Clock, and i'm sure their is more... all of them go off at a certain time, either after a certain amount of time has passed, or a certain server time. I hope this is implemented.

Was about to suggest this myself, but since its what i would want: bump :D

its kinda confusing when medal-rally starts/ends exactly (which could be resolved by using those timers given in the suggestion) and also a notification about winning a medal would be nice too :)

Sounds useful even though im yet to compete in my first medal rally
