Buy Now Price
Forum-Index → Suggestions → Implemented → Buy Now PriceNote: The "buy now" price is OPTIONAL
Edit: If a bid is higher than the buy now price, the button for buy now will be removed from the auction
If the bidding price reaches the buy now price, what's to stop them from clicking buy now instead of bidding? Or if the bidding goes over the buy now price. Or if people use this feature to sell pokémon instead of the trading and sending PD (which then allows the chance of others to snipe the deal.)
It's a nice idea, but it wouldn't be a guarantee for quick cash...

In my opinion, bidding (on the last few seconds) is very exciting and it's really fun for me being outbid in the very last second. And this "Buy for a fixed price" is more something for our GTS forums.
But maybe, you could at least buy it 4x the price of the Bid? Let's say the starting price is 1000, so you have to pay 4000 to insta-buy it, but some people don't want to waste a lot, so they would bid instead. So, if you bid 1500, you MUST buy it for 6000, so they insta-buy price increases if the bid increases.
That might help the economy of PH in auctions, because 4x the price seems fair.

You know what's an even more fair way of instantly buying something? Buying it from the GTS trade thread :/ it might just be me but I still don't understand how this suggestion does more than make people spend more money than need be. Why would I spend four times more than necessary when I can just buy off of someone in GTS? And why would I set up an auction with instant buy when I could just instantly sell my Pokemon normally?
Either I don't understand or this idea doesn't appeal to me. So no support unless I'm missing something.
What about like a "Direct sale" are for auctions? Another website I am on has Auctions, Direct sales and Reserved sales. I know this means more coding, but I do like it. Just another idea to the Auto buying idea.
