Oh well. Full support.
I was still in school when "Screamers" became popular online. Every website had a screamer, and it was actually really hard to escape them. I was only 11 years old and it caused some really serious health problems in me, not only did it take a LONG time before I could trust anything I clicked online (even from friends), but I have horrible anxiety that I know was only made worse by those awful screamers. I've had awful panic attacks due to those things!
Last thing I want is some poor child ending up as nervous and timid as me because of a Pokémon website that should be fun and friendly for all.
Also, to anyone giving no support just because they think it won't help, surely it's better to just HAVE it there in hopes that it will deter one or two people from posting and possibly saving one or two lives, than just let it carry on as it is? At least if it's in the rules, people have grounds to stand on when they ask for something not to be posted for their own health. I've actually had situations where I've asked someone not to do something for my own health and they've turned around and said "I'm allowed to do it so I will." and completely disregarded me.

Unfortunately I'm not sure if pokeheroes can physically "block" these sites because first of all, BBcode will support all links you put in them for example [*url=example] [/url] it will automatically be linked. Even not using BBcodes to link things, the only thing that would work would be a filter that would remove those links in http://www...com/net/org etc. format.
The only thing I could think would work is that adding that you aren't allowed linking them in the rules. Then, everyone can report those who post them on this site. Therefore, users will receive reminders, warnings and even bans by our moderators if they continue to put links to these sites. :)

People could actually be putting their friends' lives at risks since this can cause a seizure. If they don't cause a seizure, they still scare people. Many link these as a joke but it's not funny when putting lives at risks or scaring people out of their own skin. This site has lots of young kids clicking on links like those and finding it to be a screamer. They could be scared for weeks and not touch this kid-friendly game after that screamer.

Outlaw953: Not everyone knows about hovering over a link to see the url, and you can't always tell from the url if it will be a screamer. Also, there are a growing number of users who use tablets and mobiles to go on Pokeheroes, and as far as I am aware you can't hover over a link on those devices. In terms of rights, by signing up to this website, you are entering into a form of contract. Pokeheroes provides a website you can use, and in return you must follow the rules on this website. So if the screamer rule is added, and someone breaks that rule, then Pokeheroes is well within its rights to take appropriate action, such as warnings or bans.

Even though I use screamers to scare the crap out of my friends online, a screamer on a kid-friendly site with no warning is just mean. Sure, on Facebook, Twitter, or Tumblr it is funny, but good Arceus above, on a child's place? No. If you are going to put a screamer up, have a warning like "Not for users with {Health Condition}, {Sensitivity to something}, or young audiences." that way, they'd have a warning as to what it is.

I've never come across one on PH and I hope not to. As you have said, it's a child-friendly site and what could seem like a harmless joke can seriously affect some people. I personally enjoy jump-scares and the like, but here it would just seem wrong.

mainly because I can be sensitive to sounds due to the fact that the majority of screamers have 'biannual' beats hidden within the 'screamer' itself.. Take example of the Lavender Town Syndrome (yes I am putting this in for many reasons), it caused kids to have severe headaches because of the biannual beats hidden deep within the track. I myself somewhat possess biannual beats (i have audible schizophrenia so go figure), and if I listen to something that has those beats, it causes me a headache.. not to mention that the screamers cause me to have a sudden panic attack. I mean, I should be glad that my cousin, who has epilepsy, doesn't even have an account here.. if she did, and she was to stumble upon a screamer with flashing lights, it would cause her such damage..
and truth be honest, flashing lights can cause me 5 second blindness and I hate that

Shouldn't Glitch's current signature be considered in this case? It flashes to a disturbing image, itself. Should not flashing or disturbing avatars and signatures be considered? Again, if you do not trust a link, do not click it. That's a simple rule on the internet. Also, this is already stated in the rules, so stating it again would just be unnecessary. Again, I'm sorry, but I cannot agree with this.
