A portal opend behind despair and a long shadow grabs Despair and pulls him into the Girantinas realm. When inside, Thorn had Girantinan armor and was almost a complete shadow, bent on destroying Despair.

Thorns head tilted and used his dark powers and surrounded the Black cloud and then freezing it.
