What do you think of a...uhm..."Song-Contest"? c:
Maybe that anyone posts his/her favorite Song and writes a little Pokemon-Themed-Story about the Songtext.
You can still make two or three different contests in one.
The first can be a Art Contest, the second one a raffle and the third maybe the Song-Contest or whatever. c:

Edit: A Pokemon-themed-Quiz would be awesome too, i think :D
Plus, i'll got the idea of a Foto-Contest now.
Anyone can post a Foto of a Animal (or a object/shadow/plant/whatever) that looks like a Pokemon. To make sure that no one has searched for a random picture at google, a little paper with the name "Pokeheroes" should be at it, too. (Or...dunno. Something like a date?) :3

(Aaah, don't mind me, but i have so many ideas right now. :'D *caugh*)

So I really like Herbpoets idea of the multiple contests.
With the quiz I'd like to have everyone answer the questions and then see who answered the correctly the most but it would be easy to just google the answers. making the first correct answer win doesn't feel like a good alternative either so i dont know how the quiz should be done yet...

Art contest is cool, but I'm still trying to think what sort of art or what the theme should be :P.

The pokemon themed story about a songtext is really cool, I've never heard of a contest like this so you get points for creativity :).

An ordinary raffle is fine by me too, but I want to give the best prizes to the other contests

This is my idea for the prizes with three contests and then one giant raffle
Art:
1st: pokemon(any) + pokemon(any non shiny) or item of choice + 200k
2nd: pokemon(any) or item of choice
3rd: pokemon(any non shiny) or item of choice
4th: pokemon(any non shiny) or item of choice
5th: pokemon(any non shiny) or item of choice
6th: plushie of choice
7th: plushie of choice

song:
1st: pokemon(any) or item of choice + 150k
2nd: pokemon(any non shiny) or item of choice
3rd: pokemon(any non shiny) or item of choice
4th: plushie of choice
5th: plushie of choice
6th: plushie of choice
7th: plushie of choice

Quiz:
1st: pokemon(any) or item of choice + 150k
2nd: pokemon(any non shiny) or item of choice
3rd: pokemon(any non shiny) or item of choice
4th: plushie of choice
5th: plushie of choice
6th: plushie of choice
7th: plushie of choice


PS: every contestant gets a plushie! But only place 4 till 7 gets to choose which one they get.

I'm thinking of letting the winners choose their prize in the order above. When all big time winners have received their prize I'm thinking of doing a giant raffle that will go on until everything I have left is raffled away.
What do you guys think of this idea?

For the plushies you could add that to the art contest or have 2 separate art contests like the one with the plushies, the theme would be "Draw a pokemon as a plushie" (As in a pokemon that isn't already a plushie in the dreamshop) and then you could go from there with awarding plushies.

@ptoung shinies can be won if you get first prize, if someone chooses something else and a shiny remains i will either give it to a second place winner or put it in the raffle.

Anyway, I'm not sure on how to do the quiz. The only thing I can think of is ask a question with an a, b or c choice and give everyone a few seconds to answer. Everyone who gets it right gets a point and the person with the most points becomes first. It might take a while tough if there are a lot of people and ive got to write down the points every person got on the quiz xD

Do you guys have any idea how to run the art contest? should make it about pokemon? Give them a theme and just let them think of something fun to draw with that theme in mind? Or something else?

I think I could start the song contest where contestants take their favourite song and write a little pokemon themed story about the songtext since that idea seems finished. Do you guys have any idea how to get people to join this contest? Like do you think i need to post a seperate forumtopic somewhere or should I only keep this one?

Regarding how to get people to join the contest, if it is allowed, I think it would be a good idea to create a small clickable banner to place in your signature. You could try getting a few willing people to have it in their signature so more people are aware of the contest. If you are planning on having multiple contests, you could try to ask for non participating volunteers to help out.
I would suggest posting a separate forumtopic to avoid confusion.
As for the quiz, you could post a question every day or so. In order to submit an answer, he/she must gift a plushie with their reply. At the end of the day, you pick a random user that wins. If you are staunch on doing a multiple choice quiz, you could use some sort of poll.

What about a Door Prize Giveaway/Raffle?

All you'd have to do, if randomize the prizes, and choose a number or "door" for that prize to be behind.

EX: Door 1 - 10K PD || Door 2 - 1 Shiny Of Choice || Etc.

But make it so they don't know what is behind the door so it would be a mystery to the user who chooses the door. (:

Ok so here are the banners for the main contests, maybe Ill create another one for the giant raffle but its been a while since Ive used photoshop and I feel like the banners are kinda lame xD

Anyway I'm going to create new forum topics for these contests soon so people can ask questions about a specific contest. Ill keep this as the main topic to keep people updated :)
