Nope, the funiture was untouched. Watt flied back, and started to
analyzis the situation. Okay, the kidnapper actually walked ALL the
way to here just to not proceed. How did it even knew that Persian
was here? Well, anyways, Watt started to go the way before the
current way, and walked left instead.
"Top of the morning…evening…I can't really tell in this place." He
didn't know why, but he felt like using a bit of fancy speak. "The
tablet gave this cryptic poem or such" he showed the tablet to him,
he didn't really pay attention whether he read it or not "says to
find an orb, among everything else" he read it again, just in case
he missed something somehow. He finally gave a bit of attention to
the umbreon, he put his hand on his head and raised it…what was he
doing? Oh he forgot that he wasn't wearing his hat…was he really
trying to tip a fedora or something…weirdo, he put his hand up
again, and instead gave a salute, really couldn't just waved his
hand like a normal person?
Watt can make a right turn. And that's all he can do. Unless he
wanted to investigate the pit some more, which is his other
option.
The Grumpig's eyes widened some, at the sight of the tablet. She
uncrossed her arms, and leaned off of her seat, landing on her
stubby two legs carefully. She gestured to Napoleon to give the
tablet to her.
Top of the what? It had to be past noon at this point.
Maybe. There was lunch wasn't it? Or maybe that was brunch? Dang,
they really needed to find a clock around here.
Looking over the tablet as best he could, Cell would have
reached for the stone thingy--if his paws weren't occupied
with the rope ladder. He could make out some of the words that
Nappy had uncovered, but all of it just jumbled up in his head.
What did it mean to find an orb? Like a sphere? A ball? A round
thingy?
"Cool. So this is, uh, important." Maybe. It was starting to feel a
lot like an RPG of some kind.
"Basically how I feel right now" woops, that slipped out of his
mouth, ah well wasn't anything important at least. Noticing the
grumpig at his side, basically going in his face, doing what seems
to be asking him for the tablet, he put said tablet in his hands.
After doing so he realized he let his guard down…oops let's hope it
wasn't that bad, nor will it happen again. He wondered for a bit on
why she was so amazed by a few words etched on stone…and who etched
it in the first place.
We could either go to the right turn...nah. Actually, Im not sure.
Well, that leaves me only with the option to go deeper on the pit,
which also leads this post to be extremely short. After that, Watt
continued to explore the pit.
She traced a stubby 'finger' over the lines, her mouth moving to
'read' out the words. She went over the tablet twice, then three
times, before looking up at the three guests. She gestured to the
tablet, specifically pointing to the words that things are not
always as they seemed.
On a good day, Cell was not a fan of charades. On a regular
day though? He didn't even know what that game was about, and went
from looking at Nappy to K-something. This Grumpig was weeeeeird to
him.
"Great. Think we'll find the orb in that busted treasure chest?" He
didn't have anything else to comment on.
Aside from broken bits of the electronic appliances that had
cracked from being thrown into the pit: there was nothing to be
found. Other than the gem pieces of the Persian's.
No hole, no tunnel, no cracks on the ground big enough for a Joltik
to crawl through. The pit was a death trap missing spikes of doom
really.
Kya had just stayed silent the whole .. conversation. He was
distracted thinking about the persian. What if he had killed it?
Maybe Cell was right, and they would only find a body to bury.
The Grumpig's gesturing called his attention, what was she trying
to say? Wouldn't it be easier to write it? "Umm.. I have no idea what she wants to say"
He had an idea of what the conversation was about, but wasn't
really listening.. something about an orb right?
Huh, things are not always as it seems, that's something
…interesting to point out, he had to keep that in mind. "Highly
doubt it, who knows tough might find something interesting…or
different" or not as they seem was a part unheard by the others.
Honestly, he was getting a bit excited to go back into the
labyrinth, something about just seems to get his blood pumping,
"It'd sure be a lot easier if we had a flashlight or torch--hey, I
think I'll go look for one." Stupid, stupid, STUPID! How could he
forget about the light thing? And if worse came to worse, maybe
they could light up the bedsheet pieces that they weren't
using.
With that new goal in mind, he dropped the rope ladder onto the
ground and ran up the stairs to the second floor. He was hoping to
find either one of the Mienfoo.
The Umbreon was once again, brought back from his thoughts by the
Lucario, but this time Cell was leaving. What did he said? A
light? "I have a flashlight.."
That was probably useless, Cell had already left and his voice
wasn't that high. Talking about looking for things.. Kya
remembered Yin had taken that backpack he found, and since Cell was
probably taking a while he decided to go look for her "Hey Nap, can you help me find Yin?" He looked towards the
Druddigon and realized they never really talked before.
"You had a flashlight, you could have told us?!" The voice was
louder than the umbreons, that's for sure. "fine, I don't see why
not" he put the lum berry on his tail and started carrying the rope
ladder on his hands. Now what to think of it, he thought that maybe
she's in the servant's quarters, where that was however he didn't
know, the information probably a bit useless
"UUUUGH!" Watt yelled. I HATE to admit this, BUT I WILL NEED
THOSE JERK'S HELP TO FIND THAT PERSIAN! AND THEN I WILL BE
CONSIDERE A DUMB PERSON EVEN THO I TRIED DOING SOMETHING! he
tought. He flied allll the way back back to the START of the
labyrinth.
Well neither of you asked... he thought
*sigh* "He's here again.. Let's just leave before he calls us" Kya kept walking as he tried to ignore the slamming doors.
Then he felt a bit of guilt, because the Persian could be hurt
because of him. But the Rotom always exaggerated things so, it
probably wasn't that bad, right?
Anyway.. The Umbreon tried ignoring that thought and kept walking
towardsthe last place he saw Yin, the kitchen
The screaming was recognizable as words again, great the rotom was
getting back up into the mansion. "Agreed" was the hasty response
of the druddigon as he followed the umbreon. He wondered wether
asking yang where the other one was was a good idea…maybe if they
couldn't find them and the umbreon gave up, if he doesn't think of
it at least.
((This is going to take a while, you know, without Argentis, we
can't know where Yin or yang are or if there's anything
new)) "Ok"
He hated to admit it, but it was nice going with someone, someone
who can actually think unlike the rotom. Kya was rather used
to loneliness and being with other pokemon seemed as something
strange.
Napoleon followed the umbreon…what was his name again? Without
another word, better to stay away from the rotom, and quickly. He
wondered if a conversation was appropriate for the situation…eh if
it was the umbreon could start it first. The louder the screaming
was the more the druddigon wished he had slept with some earphones
or something, anything to block out the noise this thing was
making.
[[with luck I'll be back home in 12 hours passed out in my own bed
instead of another motel/hotel bed. Keep your fingers crossed
friends!]]
In the kitchen, Yang had mobed on from re-organizing the
bookshelves in order to start some food preparation. Dinner wasn't
just going to cook itself, after all (this wasn't a magic mansion,
despite the strange coming-and-going-ons of late). Setting aside
cut vegetables, he began to de-feather an unfortunate Pidgey (the
main entrée of the night) when the double doors swung open for Kya
and Napoleon.
Canting his head over to them briefly, he gave them a nod and
visibly shuddered when he heard the echoes of door-slaming. "May I
help you, sirs?"
Hmm.. The smell of food made him feel hungry again
"oh... um Yang.." Kya said, not really sure of what he was supposed to do.
He sat on the floor and looked at his paws, well he should have
supposed thus could happen. But still he blushed a bit, he looked
stupid in front of the Druddigon "I.. um.. was wondering.. If you know where Yin is? Or if you
know where to find a backpack I gave her?"
He felt uncomfortable because the rotom almost killed Yang, not
that it was his fault, but still..
((Awesome, it's been a long time))
"Evenin' again Yang" wasn't he just in the library? Holy distorton
world that mienfoo moved quickly. The umbreon quickly said what he
was thinking…why was he stuttering so much? It's just as much as he
was talking to his crush or something, wait te umbeon isn't…nah
doubt it. Although the vegetables didn't really appeal to him, the
pidgey on the side made him fell like snatching it and eating it
raw, darned carnivorous instincts, he slightly licked his lips
either way to the disappointed of his brain.
[[thanks; in hindsight I can see I was optimistic about the RP
going on without me for 2 weeks, aha...]]
"Yin? I believe she's in the laundry room. Something about bags
and propriety." His paws and claws scarcely stopped their work,
stuffing the pidgey with choice vegetables and berries. "But it is
good that you are here. I've a very grave and important question
for you, our guests."
"Would you enjoy cremé brûlée or chocolate pudding for
dessert?"
