Although often appearing stoic, a lot of his calm and collected nature stems from his tragic (and mysterious) past. From caregivers to park rangers and breeders, his lineage had a broad history of connecting deeply and vastly with a large selection of species, with some family members even going on to write guides and textbooks on Pokemon and their language and habits. However, even before his birth, strange circumstances had his family members dying out one-by-one. As their numbers dwindled, the Branham bloodline isolated themselves, living far off into Velorys mountains and forests. Rumors soon began to spread following the family's communal absence. Some called it a disease, others called it a curse from evil forces, but by the time Arthur was old enough to take an interest into Pokemon training, he was the sole survivor of the Branham line. Length and Style// ----------- anything from short form to paragraphs. i prefer mid-length paras in 3rd person! i also tend to stylize my text in all lowercase, but with excellent punctuation (sample below). Enjambment and other forms of stylizing (punctuation, color, italics/bold, icons, etc.) may occur depending on the platform we use to RP. Interests/Genre// --------- i prefer interesting plots, usually with sci-fi / fantasy elements, elements of action / danger, elements of distress and emotional turbulence, and simple silly interactions when necessary. i would like to plan at least one major plot point in advance (basically, at least one conflict / area of interest) and then see where it goes from there! i'm usually into more mature topics - not NSFW stuff but more like trauma, violence, emotional instability - etc. i like complicated characters, and character growth / development! humanoid preferred, but i think pokemon would be interesting to try out also! Maturity and Romance// -------- i am 18+ but prefer not to write any NSFW content, in terms of romance. i am perfectly fine with a romantic subplot, but i personally despise the RomCom genre and would rather have romance centered around character development (ex: Character A is important to Character B's life for xyx reasons - this may develop romantically, if the characters have chemistry that way). All other mature content, specifically with violence and adult themes of action / danger / mental health / etc. are fine with me. It is courteous, however, to discuss your interest in these topics PRIOR to writing about them.
