Pokemon has been around since most of us here were kids; long time, so I'm curious if you ever got into heated debates over Pokemon themselves, cards, other franchises, etc.
more: dự án sun 31 láng hạ
Pokemon, both the anime and games, started airing in the States when I was in mid-middle school and it was all the rage. We loved the cards, the games, and would rush home immediately after school to watch the latest episodes. I dragged my mom to get cards (the worst ones possible too) for me to play with everyone else, etc.

But at the time, given my personality type, there was a little show called Digimon that I literally hated more than life itself because in my mind it was the "ripoff Pokemon". Despite the fact I never watched it. Oh, I hated it. I couldn't say enough bad things about it.

And one day after school, after Pokemon was over, I turned it to Fox for Digimon just to laugh at how stupid the characters looked, etc, and that damn theme song got right in my head, where I was listening to it again and again.... while still parading around the Anti-Digimon mentality persona I had at school.

And then I started watching it, from the beginning, and man, it was good. I wanted to keep watching it. I grew obsessed and I realized this actually even had a plot and characters, unlike Pokemon.

And when I grew out of Pokemon (the anime at least), I still had a soft spot for Digimon, and still it invaded my line of thinking quite a lot. I became a bit obsessed.

The dub of Digimon now is one of the worst things ever, but I can imagine if I gave it a chance in Japanese, I'd still find it pretty enjoyable.

Just hilarious that I was so adamant against it as a ripoff without ever giving it a chance, and yet I wound up liking it more.

Hey everyone, not sure if I'm the only one that goes through this, but whenever I watch a show, play a game, or read a book, that has a way of drawing you into it on certain levels, like emotional, or so interested, that by the time you reach the end, or the final episode appears, you start wishing that I wish the story would just keep on going. And since this website is Pokemon focused, I'll use Pokemon as the only examples. When it comes to anime, kept wishing that Pokemon Origins was still going, and was a full series, not a mini one, because seeing a change of characters for each season, instead of the same one over and over again, is a nice change of pace.
With the video games, lately considering how close they make the characters seem with the protagents, when I reach the end of it, especially with the music they throw in, makes me wish there was a sequel where you can resuse the character, and the friends, for a continuely growing story, instead of starting over with each generation.
So here is a question, am I the only one who goes through this, or are there others that do?

So, there are lot of Pokémon out there that are well-known, like Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Lucario, Mewtwo, or literally any starter or version legendary Pokémon, for example, but those are far from the only Pokémon out there!
Do you have any favorite Pokémon that aren't as well-known? That some Pokémon fans may even need to be reminded of the mere existence of? Let's talk about them!

I'd say my less-publicized favorites—including their respective evolutions where applicable—are Chinchou, Surskit, Gulpin, Spoink, Corphish, Cherubi, Maractus, Karrablast, Amaura, and Carbink!

I like the designs of all of these Pokémon, really, but in the case of Surskit, Gulpin, and Corphish, I used them all in various RSE runs, and they ended up really reliable, and among my favorite team members in each file! I also had a tiny little Corphish plushie as a kid, which I loved, hehe~

In the case of Carbink, it was actually a Pokémon I discovered completely on my own without knowing about it beforehand! It seemed really rare and tough to catch, so I was sure it would evolve into something cool or at least hold some special secret… but alas, it's a single-form Pokémon with no special secrets at all, at least not in gameplay. Of course, it's still plenty charming~

I actually haven't even used all of these Pokémon—although I have used a fair amount of them—but I like them all the same!

What are some of your favorite less-talked-about Pokémon? Do you have any stories to share about why you like them?

It's rare when we get affordable figures or plushies of the human characters from the Pokémon series, there exists Ash figures and a few figures of in-game protagonists and Lillie, but they're expensive as poison (especially the latter two) and not everyone is interested in Ash, they're probably more interested in the rivals or something.
more: iris garden
I know of a group that used to make figures based on media like The Simpsons, Shrek and Star Wars, the figures were actually pretty well made and quite detailed for a $2 figure, the figures used to come out in sets of eight usually within the span of a few weeks, however, with protagonists, rivals, professors, villains and various other characters, I think the figure sets would have to be extended. If anyone is Australian, then I'm sure you'll remember The Simpsons figurines that were sold for $2 at Coles, Target, Kmart and Bi-Lo in 2005, 2006 and 2009, the company who made those figures is the one I am thinking about.
more: biệt thự athena fulland kim giang
Personally, I think figures or plushies based on the human characters from the games and anime would sell pretty well, even if they're sold at the usual price of a figure or plushie.

So today is my brother's birthday, and he had a bowling party with a few friends. One of the gifts he received contained four small boxes of Pokemon cards! My little brother loves Pokemon cards so we all thought it was a lovely gift! He was very excited and opened them up as soon as we got home to trade with myself and my other younger brother. They didn't notice, but as I was looking through them (he was very excited to have cool new cards to trade with me), I noticed something was weird about the fonts and symbols. I asked him if I could keep the leftover boxes they came in, and as I was looking at them I could immediately tell that something was off. The front of the boxes are very glittery, with a picture of a Pokemon on each. On the front there was a small black box on the top left corner that read "Pokemon 2017 card XY" with a silhouette of pikachu beside it. In large letters the bottom of the front of the box said "Pokemon Go". Now the side of the box, which I originally thought might be the name of the expansion or something, said "Kalos Quest", and that's the name of the anime, not any expansion to my knowledge. Now the back of the box said a small paragraph about the Primal Clash expansion, with spelling mistakes like "tihanic" and "dceans". The back also had short little parts saying "The Pokemon Company INTERNATIONAL" and a link to the Pokemon website, as well as a little box saying "ExpandyourGame Play online!" But the box did not contain an online code. I found this very upsetting, but I haven't told my little brother yet and I'm not sure if I should. I don't think he's planning on entering any tournaments, but it would suck if a more experienced player at school immediately noticed they were fake or something and embarrassed him. I don't think whoever gave him the cards knew they were fake, and their parent must have bought them simply because they were cheaper, and probably buy them for their child as well. It really sucks when people get fake cards, especially if they decide to enter a tournament only to discover they can't play because their cherished cards are fake. People who sell fake cards are absolutely horrible and cause tears from many young trainers. I was wondering if any of you have bought or received fake cards, and can give me advice on what to do about this.

Hello.

Two things I need. First, I need a sixth teammate to complete my team. The team I created centers on stall, but I think I need a sweeper that harmonizes with the rest of the team yet poses an offensive threat to other teams. Second, I need someone to look at the team overall and see if it works well together, especially the move-sets.

Most of us have been playing the Pokemon games for some time, but experience isn't achieved without going through some dumb moments. Like me for example: back when I first started playing the games, I had no frigging idea how to use TMs to teach Pokemon new moves, so of course when HMs reared their head I was stuck in the same area for days until I finally figured out just how simple it was. I felt really stupid. And then I proceeded to fill my team's moveslots with the worst balance ever (my Sceptile had three Grass-type attacks and Quick Attack, for example).

How about you guys? Have you ever done something that looking back on now is a little embarrassing?

So, some pokémon, like our mascot Pikachu for example, are really nice beings... HOWEVER, there is another side of the spectrum. Some pokémon aren't so nice, and are genuinly dangerous, and evil. So what is in your opinion, the most evil pokémon?
more: chung cư mỹ đình plaza
In my opinion, it's Nihilego. I still consider it the true antagonist of Pokémon sun and moon, and not Lusamine. Nihilego poisons human's mind with it's toxins, pretty much taking them over and having them do everything they want. Not to mention, it's sun entry: ''One of several mysterious Ultra Beasts. People on the street report observing those infested by it suddenly becoming violent.'' This pokémon wants to see humanity suffer, like, why would I want something this evil?

More evil pokémon that come to mind are Malamar, Pallosand, Cohagrigus, the litwick line, and Mandibuzz.

I was thinking of what job I;d have int he Pokemon world if I was there and was wondering what everyone else had in mind as the job they'd want to do there. On top of most real-world jobs, which would be available int he Pokemon world (police officer, nurse, newscaster, etc.), there are also a number of exclusive jobs. Here are some that I could think of:
more: chung cư pcc1 thanh xuân

Breeder - breeding any type of Pokemon as a job (like Brock wanted to do)
Watcher - going around and studying different Pokemon, not catching them all (like Tracey)
Entertainer - focusing almost solely on Pokemon contests (like May, Dawn, and Serena)
Connoisseur - studying the compatibility of people and Pokemon (like Cilan)
Ranger - type of Police with main focus on protecting Pokemon
Full-time trainer - focus is solely on battling and developing Pokemon (like Ash, Misty, Iris, etc.)
more: hh2 dương nội

*I don't consider gym leader a job as I consider them superior full-time trainers

I would either be a watcher like Tracey, or a teacher. I would love to travel the world studying Pokemon, while also having a handful of them myself. That would be my dream Pokemon job. The most realistic would be a teacher as I am currently studying to become one in real life. I think it would be cool to teach up-and-coming trainers all about Pokemon and their types, moves, etc.

What occupation would you have if you were int he Pokemon world?

Are there any Pokemon that you think deserve more love than they get? Well, I've got some.

One Pokemon that comes to mind is Incineroar. The main reason why it's unpopular is because it went bipedal while its prevos are quadrupedal. I think people should learn to accept this.

Another one is Tangrowth. I think it's cute in a derpy way, and I actually love its design. It's very bulky on the physical side, and it has good attacking stats too. In Gen 5, it got Regenerator, which made it very useful in competitive battling. And lastly, I've been using it more often in Pokemon hacks lately, and it's been a great asset to my team.

Lanturn is another one. I've used one in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and I don't regret it. It's a good special tank, and it can hit decently hard too. However, it's often overlooked because by the time you can catch one, you probably already have a good Water type and/or a good Electric type.

Honorable mentions: Mr. Mime, Jynx, Miltank, Hariyama, Sableye, Cradily, Rhyperior, Magmortar, Seismitoad, Sigilyph, and Vanilluxe.

Hello,

I was recently looking through my old gen Pokemon games from my DS, and I was over a friends house(who is way more of a Pokemon expert and fan than me). He was looking through my catalog of Pokemon and wanted to buy all the Pokemon on it because of the Pokemon I had and the conditions they were in. It took us into this discussion about the value of virtual Pokemon. We sat there for hours arguing about what would be worth more, and how much someone would actually spend on virtual Pokemon. So, I was wondering how everyone else felt about virtual Pokemon and their dollar value? My friend said he would buy Pokemon for tournaments and just to collect them. I've never entered a tournament, and just found collecting them through the game was good enough for me. Would love to hear how others feel about this.

Ah, here comes the age old question; What generation of Pokemon is the best?

If you ask a large group of Pokemon fans you'll probably get very mixed, diverse answers.

I enjoy playing all of them, but I like some more so than others. I'm pretty sure a lot of Pokemon fans can relate to that statement.
more: xe tải dongben
In my opinion the best generation is gen 5. Pokemon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2 are all phenomenal games to this day. Despite being on the same platform of technology as gen 4 it improved on many aspects. It improved graphically, sound wise, story wise, and mechanic wise. Everything about Unova was great too. The music, the Pokemon, the characters, the story, the cities, just everything about it was great. Gen 5 also had the dream word which was pretty cool. I hope they bring it back for Sun and Moon.

Gen 7 is looking pretty good so far too, maybe it will take gen 5's place as being my favorite

Personally I think the next core Pokemon game will be released on the 3DS over the NX but believe the NX is still a possibility.

Nintendo has not (that I could find) released any info about when the console will release or so much as a reveal date leading me to believe the rumored March 2017 release is nothing more than a rumor. The only evidence I could find was that the new Legend of Zelda game will be released on the Wii U and NX. The new Zelda game is stated to release in 2017 but anymore details beyond this I cannot find.

Pokemon core games are released on average between 1 to 2 years after the previous versions release, while a few have extended beyond this. The sooner the NX releases the more likely the next core game will be for it using this pattern. However Nintendo has released core games for older systems as short as 1 month to as long as 1 year 4 months of new hardware (Exp. Black/white 2 being released 1 year, 4 months after 3DS had been released). Though many have blamed this for how poorly the 3DS sold at launch.
more: gia xe dongben x30

The main reasons I believe that the next core Pokemon game will be on the 3DS are:

The NX hasn't even been revealed yet and most companies reveal consoles long before they release to build hype, also Nintendo tends to release consoles around holiday seasons to capitalize on holiday shopping and even though they may not this is there normal MO.
Due to the Nintendo Direct in September it seems the Company was pushing that the 3DS will have a healthy library of upcoming games for 2017 showing Nintendo's support for it at least supporting it through 2017 and possibly beyond.
The 3DS has sold over 60 million units and the number is still raising, Japan has even started re selling the 2DS as of September this year. This makes the system Nintendo's largest money maker and biggest audience of gamers, therefore even if the NX releases in 2017 it will more than likely take time for it to build a large enough audience for Nintendo to consider releasing core Pokemon games for it without the risk of committing profit suicide, of course this is still if it follows the pattern of core games release every 1 to 2 years.
Obviously I cannot read into the future so these are all just assumptions, but to me I feel the 3DS still has one more core Pokemon game before it moves onto the next system. I know I could be wrong but until I see the NX console, price, and release date as well as how well it does in the market I stand firmly with my opinion. Does anyone agree with me? Do you thank Sun and Moon are the last 3DS core games? Sorry if this come's off as more of a blog post than a topic but for some reason the question really struck my curiosity and I wanted to discuss it

I just opened Pokemon Go for the first time. Not sure if I'm in training mode or not.

I clicked on sign up with Google account and it didn't ask me for account information, just opened it; may have used info on machine, not sure. I started with the data and cached emptied and it asked me the four permission questions as for a new account.

I set up my Avatar - the first time. I don't get asked to set it up again despite stopping Pokemon and emptying the data and cache.

I dressed the Avatar but was never asked to set up a name.

The trainer appeared and told me to take some balls he gave me and catch a Pokemon.

Now I'm on a screen with a green map of the immediate vicinity of my house, my avatar, and 3 Pokemons, and NO BALLS. There also are NO ICONS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN - such as the ball.

I can't get this error to come up in Google or a Pokemon guide.

There is no way to back up or to get past the screen.

I tried running in reduced screen mode where the app doesn't take up the entire screen, made no difference . The entire screen is displaying; just tihngs that should be displaying aren't there.

Since it doesn't ask me for account info nor tell me what it is I don't know what email account I tried to use last night finally worked! All last night it wouldn't authenticate. Trying a club account didn't authenticate either.

I've tried both the birth date I used for the club account and the correct birth date I used for all of my efforts to log in wit hGoogle.

What do I do?

So i recently downloaded Pokemon GO. I live in a house in the country, also away from the countrys small town, needlessly to say there aren't a lot of people around. I started out normally and captured bulbasaur. Now that i'm on my own, there is not a single pokemon to see. The nearby list is completely empty even if the grid flashes when im walking, which i've done for about 3km around my area. So i haven't seen a single pokemon except from the starters that were presented to me. Please Help!

Okay this has been annoying me a lot it just started recently, after i hit level 20. Mostly any pokemon i come across escapes from my first pokeball throw and runs away. This is getting so annoying because last night i saw an aerodactyl which i dont have yet and i tapped on it gave it a berry and threw my pokeball, granted i shouldve thrown great or ultra instead, but as soon as i threw the pokeball i realized i should instead use ultra so i was like if it escapes ill just use ultra and it does escape but it doesnt give me any chance to try again and runs away, this pissed me off even more since my friend who was with me was trying to catch the same aerodactyl, he was using a pokeball and didnt even use a berry, he tried multiple times before getting it. Then early morning i saw a wartotle, again i dont have it and the same thing happens instead this time i used a berry and a great ball instead and it escapes first try and runs away. Now just before writing this post multiple spearow ran away, multiple pigey and weedle but i couldnt care less about those but just now i saw a 712 cp fearow and i wanted it, this time i didnt even have pokeballs i had only great and ultra so i used great, i used berry then threw my great ball first try it escapes and runs away. This is just annoying and idk if it has to do with my level but how am i supposed to catch anything decent when it all just keeps running away after first try, and they rarely, for me atleast, get caught in the first try. Is this happening to others and is it becauze im level 20 now or is it just i have horrible luck?
