Frozendusk doesn't hear anything for the longest time, and he begins to wonder how Moonclaw is holding up. "I don't hear anything....maybe it's gone now?" He still clung to that little hope he'd find lit whatever that sound was, however, despite the grim-looking chances at this point.

"I-I guess that makes the most sense..." Frozendusk stammered. "I'll go this way." He said, heading east. "Meet up by sunhigh. Don't get lost." He reminded, before setting off.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Frozendusk seemed hesitant. "We're already off on our own, not telling anybody about it....and now we should also split up?"

((:D that's a good song. You have nothing to be sorry for. *already has like five songs planned out for Burningsoul*))

"We're almost there, but...I can't hear the ringing anymore." Frozendusk frowned. "Hmm...could it be a turn we missed or something on the track to finding the noise? Or maybe it just stopped altogether...?"

Burningsoul looked down at the reflection of the water, thinking. She saw the distorted image of the sun on the water. What am I to this world, truly? Am I a mistake? Or was I on purpose? If it was purposeful, why me? Why did I have to get stuck with this stupid life?! The she-cat lashed out at the water, causing more ripples. The fish seemed not to disturb her, as if they had sensed her presence or something. She felt like she had to run again, so she got up, and ran. This run was more jumbled, jumbled thoughts, memories, experiences. She felt lost and confused during the run, but her anger was completely depleted. She ran for what seemed like less this time, and she found herself back at camp. Sighing, she snuck back into camp, and into the Warriors den, having nothing better to do once more.

"Hey, you okay?" Frozendusk asks, looking at Moonclaw with concern.

"Meaning? Control?" Burningsoul laughed bitterly. "Two words that are often just against me. And that's all they are. Words. Not like they'll ever do anything." She looked up at the sun, rising steadily on the horizon before it would plunge back into the depths of the sky, allowing the moon and night to come along. "Don't give me any of that, Gravelfur. I know by now my existence was a mistake."

"Okay." Frozendusk agreed. "More fish could help the clan thrive, in any case." He padded towards the lake, this time more cautious in his steps, instead of racing for the lake.

"I...don't know." Burningsoul replied. "It's just the way I am." She gritted her teeth. "I was born like this, with anger flowing through my veins. Though it puts purpose and often energy into things I do, I can't control it." She sighed. "Why was I born like this? Why can't I just be a normal cat?"

"Should we go, then?" Frozendusk wondered. "It seems to be coming from the direction of the lake, I think....." Frozendusk paused. "Or maybe not. It's so faint, I wonder how I was able to pick it up at all." He sighed.

"Well then, why did you come?" Burningsoul asked. Though she was trying really hard not to let anger burst out, and though she had ran, it felt like so long ago, and the anger came flooding back. The sarcasm crept into her voice, and she just couldn't control it.

"I-Is that a good idea?" Frozendusk wondered. "I mean, we aren't the strongest warriors....and what if it's a Fireclan ambush?"

"How did you follow me, Gravelfur?" Burningsoul groaned, without even turning to look at the medicine cat. "I went really fast, and no offense, but how were you able to catch up?" ((I don't know, but knowing Burningsoul, probably some retort or something XD))

Tired of pacing, Burningsoul stalked out of camp, too bored to continue the act. She itched to run, and run she did. She ran through the forest, zooming through. It felt so good to run, she could pound her otherwise uncontrollable anger into her leg muscles, running wildly. It was a good cure for the anger she otherwise felt so, so often. She ran for a while, at least, she thought it was that long. She truly had no clue, only being somewhat aware of her surroundings to keep from crashing into things at best. The anger took a while to clear out, burning off of her fur before getting blown away by the rushing wind. Though these weren't ideal running conditions, she did it anyways, losing track of time. She found herself by the Fireclan side of the lake, but it didn't seem right in the area, and the water literally rippled with fish. Burningsoul examined the water further, but nothing seemed to be out of order. A little bit breathless from running, she sat on her haunches, wondering whether to fish or not.

"I hear some sort of....ringing?" Frozendusk replied, tilting his head, and trying to find a word to best describe the sound he heard. "It's from far off, but it doesn't sound familiar, and I also don't feel very good about this...." He signed. "Maybe there really is something wrong, because that ringing surely can't be a good thing, can it?"

"I wonder what that clan is up to. The gathering is in a few days, but this makes me wonder...what if they don't show up to the gathering?" He perked his ears up for a moment. "Strange....did you hear that?"

"That doesn't sound good." Frozendusk replied. "Although, you less sarcastic is something I could get used to." He chuckled. "That aside, maybe something is going on. I don't feel right, either. And the fact that we haven't seen Fireclan all day...that doesn't help matters, either." He bounded towards the camp entrance, lugging his fish. He dropped it on the prey pile, waiting for Moonclaw.

"Yeah. It makes me wonder how medicine cats do it." Frozendusk sighed. "So many different ones, all with different purposes. But the fact that she's grumpy...she's not usually like that, is she?" The tom remarked. "Maybe she got a bad feeling, too...."

"Probably an idea." Frozendusk agreed, unaware to the fact that Moonclaw might be sarcastic. "How is she, by the way? I saw her grumbling and in a conversation with you earlier."

"I'll bet!" Frozendusk grinned. "Though, it's a bit strange out of every day, suddenly today there's a massive outburst of fish, some bigger than I've ever seen before." He shook off the thought. Frozendusk grabbed his fish carefully by the jaws, though he couldn't stop the fish from swinging around as he carried it. "Be careful!" He warned. "You wouldn't want a fish to the face!"

"Sure." Frozendusk grinned. "But should we take these back first?" It's going to take a lot of trips if we keep catching gigantic fish." He suggested. It was true, though. By a small, very small margin, the fish he had caught was slightly bigger than Moonclaw's.

Frozendusk got into position, and waited patiently. It took a long while, in which he stayed perfectly still, and then, suddenly, when it seemed like he had fallen asleep, with a quick motion, his paw rippled the surface of the lake and out with it came a fairly big fish. "Is it bigger?" Frozendusk wondered, comparing both caught fish.

"You're on!" Frozendusk replied, a fire of happiness burning in his frozen eyes. "Just be careful not to fall in while fishing!"

Before long, Frozendusk had reached the lake, skidding to a stop just before splashing into the icy water. True to his words, the water rippled with fish, and birds and other creatures were fishing themselves among the rocks.

Frozendusk lit up when Moonclaw agreed with him. "Well, come on then! The fish aren't going to catch themselves!" He raced toward the lake.

"I was passing by the lake this morning because I couldn't sleep....it seemed to be teeming with fish." Frozendusk shrugged. "If you want, that might be a good place to start."
