Golly is that so? I'm actually quite flattered by that.
However, I drew most of my own inspiration from Underfell. Originally, I had been planning on making SurvivalTale a Zombie Apocalypse AU. Those sort of things are fun, to me. I might still try a sort of variation on that concept.
Later I'd been thinking about it, since the Zombie Apocalypse didn't get very good results with my pals. I settled on a dystopia, mostly because I'd been considering what might happen if the Kill or be Killed mood still reigned over the Underground, minus the drastically edgy redesigns of characters.

And I guess the main reason, all freshness aside, that I've been gone is because I've been doing more work in the IB Papyrus blog, as well as starting up something new with a few folks here that'll be a various AU Sans' askblog.

	@ComicSans This is sort of unrelated to your dilemma but I've used Sculpey before and I suggest Fimo clay. I swear I've got at least a pound of that stuff altogether (I usually have more though). Really, I only use Fimo because there's a bunch of clay with neat looks, like the blue clay I used on Sans' coat. I use it for all my little project stuff. [Read more]

Recently I stumbled across some blogs
And I may or may not be following a few of them.
I didn't really know I needed them until I found them but they make me so figging happy tbh

Not as hard as you'd think, actually!
It's mostly one piece of airdry clay with the eyes and mouth cut out
Inside there's a little bit carved out so it sits on my face properly
It's got wire loops on either side and some string through those to keep it on
I just used tights and hot glue to cover the eyes and mouth
And then it got a coat or five of some really lovely pearlescent paint and a tiny bit of orange and blue along the respective cracks.
It seems like a lot but it was mostly waiting for stuff to dry huhuhu
