Ophelia was wandering about looking for things she could use as weapons. She had heard the cannons go off not too far from where she was. People were dying, as she had thought. I wonder how long it'll take for the younger people to break. By now, Ophelia had a grasp of what to do. She had a knife, some twigs and 1 alliance. She had thought about getting closer to people in her district, for say Gateguard. She was sure he had a lot of alliances himself and one connection can lead to another. Ophelia then heard a sizzle behind her and stopped in her tracks. Behind her was a creeper, not as tall as her but close. Quickly Ophelia summoned an egg and exploded the creeper before it exploded her.
She smirked and continued wandering but then stopped again. What am I doing? Alone and not courageous enough to find another person to discuss arena. Then she realized, she had Gleen. She had to find her.

Ophelia looked around the bloodbath, a knife in 1 hand. Clean up a successful fight? she looked over to an NPC tribute with a knife in it. Blood was still spurring out. She didn't even get to stab anyone but she so very desired to. She glanced down at the NPC tribute and jabbed her knife into it. Ophelia then smiled and pulled it out. There. Now it looks like I accomplished something. The smell of almost fresh blood made her ecstatic. She wanted to fight a little more.. (let's pretend this was earlier it didn't post)

Ophelia looked herself up in down while waiting. The outfit was nice, a little too nice for an arena where there could be blood and guts and- Ophelia didn't wanna think about it anymore. She pulled on her beige gray jacket and frowned. Why? is all she could think. I would've preferred anything but greige. Ophelia slumped down and waited, wondering what everyone else was doing right now. Surely she wasn't the only one complaining.

She chuckled a bit. Gleen would most definitely be complaining about this, or rather laughing at the attire. Or perhaps Ophelia was just trying to make herself feel better by imagining other people being disrespectful instead of herself. Regardless, Ophelia couldn't hide the anxiety she was feeling inside. In just a few minutes she could be called up and standing at the arena staring into nothing but fear.

Ophelia had found the pool at last. It was rather crowded today, but still she went in and sat in the water. It was something she loved doing ever since she was tall enough to. It helped clear her mind which was usually foggy and full of thoughts. Ophelia sighed as she thought to herself.

7. 7. My performance was worse than I thought. Ophelia thought back to herself in the arena. She had attempted to explode a dummy, but ending up covering her face with ashes. She smiled. At least now my plan for the arena was actually blooming. The problem was she hardly had any alliances. You can't just survive with a battle plan. But who, exactly? She didn't know who to trust because her smart idea on the first day was to talk to no one and sit in silence. Soo smart. Ophelia swam for a little, practicing her backstrokes and thinking about whether or not to approach someone, and better yet who.

Ophelia was extremely nervous as she heard districts being called out. Lucky for her, she was district 10 and not district 1, so she had plenty of time to spiral off into worry. Trying to think on the positive side, she thought about how she'd impress the gamemakers. Her power was hardly a help, but in battle she was quite strategetic despite the fact she wasn't doing well in school, specifically math and logic. Though I doubt the gamemakers would want to see that..

Not feeling any better than before, Ophelia flopped onto the floor frustrated out of her mind.

"Sure." Ophelia accepted with a cool smile. She tried to look into Gleen's eyes. Maybe if she looked hard enough she could see her intentions. Trust was everything in an alliance. You would not want to get trapped in a false one. ...that could easily become deadly.

Ophelia noticed she had finished her food. "I might have to catch up with you later. Best to get a head start on everyone else for the day."

	Ophelia lowered her voice. Something made her feel like she could trust Gleen. "Play a little nicer, a little weak. No one would expect someone having to do with animals to be strong anyway." Ophelia shakes her head in disbelief. Not even a week of being here and there were already people injured. Ophelia sat alone at a table, as usual eating her food. Her eyes wandered around the room at the different tables and the people sitting at them. She smiled sadly. Everyone seemed to have their little friend groups as if you could trust anyone here. The only thing you can seem to trust is your own judgement.

Ophelia took a glance at the Career table. For some reason they seemed like first class. All of them were joyfully laughing..or rather evilly. Ophelia nearly choked on her food. She saw the district 1 girl from the train sitting at the Career table. Of course she was sitting there. The way she had talked to me just screamed 'I'm better than you.' It seemed wrong to stare as the girl had said before, but she couldn't help it. Somehow her earrings always caught her in a trance.

Ophelia finally awakes to the sun spilling into her room. She opened her eyes and stared at the bright sun. It looked like a fried egg. Must be hungry, she thought. Quickly, she changed and headed to the breakfast hall. Ophelia found herself looking at a banquet. She groaned. All of these varieties of food but I'm only going to eat 2 things. Ophelia filled her plate up with two rather burnt looking toast and poured a glass of orange juice and made her way to a table.

After she had finished eating, she went over to the training hall and just as she had presumed there were people already there. She gave a weak smile to Gateguard and Tempest and picked up a few weights then started to plank with them. To Ophelia strength and muscle endurance were the most important skill to have.

Ophelia sat nervously on the train. She sat in silence, hoping no one would notice her. Of course she'd love to talk to other people but she simply couldn't bring herself to do it. Although brave it seemed the thought of being judged by the slightest could make one seem weak. However she couldn't help but look over at a girl with what looked to be red hair that was recolored by the light. (It was Gleen)
