Kaya remained frozen of shock when she saw Toshiko fighting Grom .What should they do? What was she thinking? A million thoughts and possibilities runned trough her mind, she lost herself in her head , not realizing what was happening in front of her and before she could do anything she saw a flash of blue hair falling on the floor.

Fuck she snapped out of her overthinking, why did it take so long for her to react, this wasn't like her. In the blink of an eye she started running toward where Toshiko stood on the floor
"Hey, hey, you're at grom , you just decided to fight it- , Are you okay Toshi?" Kaya said sitting in front of her and putting their hands on her shoulders , trying to get her attention .

Kaya looked at the the blue haired and gived her a half smile
"I didn't eather, actually..." they let out a sigh amd looked awkwardly at her
"I mean-, i wasn't really sure if it was a good ideea to come here but something told me that i should-" They got closer to Toshiko and breathed heavily. What is this? they thought trying to identify what was that they feelt .

After a few seconds of staying like that they realized they feelt anxious. They usually don't experience things like this, it was weird, feeling all those butterflies just for wanting to ask a girl out.
"Do you have a date?" They asked quietly. "If not, do you , maybe, want to be mine?" They continued, in the same voice, with hope in their eyes.

After getting Nyark as her palisman Kaya decided to go and get ready for Grom.
Grom wasn't even as exciting for Kaya as she would like to be, a shapeshifting demon from the basement of the school should be fun to watch or fight but all they could think about was Toshiko and how they didn't even try to ask her out. Feeling things like this was not an usual occurrence in their life, one of the things they did best was flirt and play with people , but, for some odd reason ,the blue haired girl was all she caught think about.

She shook her head, finished getting ready and started walking toward where the grom was taking place with the little red fox following her.

She knows she was probably late but she didn't care. She entered the school building and started walking toward in the halls.

Kaya looked annoyed at the teacher ,stepped forward and kneeled before all the palisman. They gathered all their thoughts together .
"I want to be independent and free ,but also to become someone powerful and clever no matter what it takes..."She said feeling confident.

"Except accepting the help of people who think themselves better than everyone." They continued after a short momen of what seemed to be hesitation

The confession came to her much faster than she thought it would come, but , at least, the one thing she had to do now us wait and see if her wish resonated with any of the small beings in front of her.

"Oh, okay, i didn't realized it's not a good time- Sorry about that then." Kaya said awkwardly while scratching the back of her neck.
What the heck did i do wrong? They thought while stepping away from Toshiko, and , as they took some distance, they realized that most people already had their palisman so , she decided to talk to the teacher, probably the only time she would do that willingly
"Hey , teach!" They screamed " I haven't gotten my palisman yet and i have no ideea what is happening around here , but it sure isn't palisman day anymore, so , i was wondering if i could just get a palisman and then maybe not go to detention since the whole thing has nothing to do with me this time?" They asked looking rather indifferent to the situation at hand.

Kaya had been reading for some time, her head dipped in a scroll. At the noise, she lifted her head . Someone had gotten detention? But who-? Kaya going to detention wasn't something new, it pretty much happened on a regular basis. Stick it to the man! she thought, with a faint smile passing over her face.
At least she wasn't caught in it, this time... Maybe her father would be proud of her, for being free for a day. She stiffened. Okay, maybe not that, but at least her record would be better...

They stood there for a second and decided to see what was happening so they got up and moved slowly toward Toshiko, the only person from the group whom they knew "Hey, Toshi!" They said as they got closer "What is happening here, what's with the detention? And more importantly, are you alright?"

Kaya put herself into the line and took a deep breath. Without realizing they started fidgeting with their rings.
Palisman day ,hm , this is going to be interesting. They thought to themself. What should she say when she gets there? Their deepest wish is not something that they thought about often, or at all for that matter. It wasn't that they didn't have any wishes, they did, but in their opinion they were mostly way to superficial to create a connection with another living thing.

After thinking about it for a bit she just decided to go with the flow. To get a palisman that connects to her she should just be herself so , when it will be her turn, she would just say the first wish that comes to mind , this much overthinking wasn't even helping so why continue to do it , if a palisman was ment to be hers then it will be, if not, then maybe another time, it was simple.
