*meanwhile, argent has kept busy with his gym battles, having beat piers and raihan the day before. tired, he decided to stay at a hotel for a night. finally, it's the next morning*

Argent: *yawns* hey guys-

*his team is still fast asleep*

Argent: *returns his team to their pokeballs* well, let's see how jack, luke, bella, ad everyone else are doing :)

*he sends out lugia (who has woken up) and lands in front of his friends*

Lugia: *Roars*

Argent: hey, guys! how's it going?

Argent: you all preparing for Raihan's gym battle? I actually just beat it yesterday, so I have a pretty good idea of what his team is like, if you want me to tell you all.

Argent: oh, and bella. how's Raikou doing?

*when Argent and Dragonite land, team yell is blocking the front gates and say that they won't leave unless somebody beats them in a battle*

Argent: *sends out suicune* use surf

*suicune's surf One Hit KO's all of team yell's pokemon*

Team yell: aww... alright, we'll let you through to challenge piers.

Argent: Thanks. *he returns suicune and dragonite to their pokeballs, and heals up at the Pokemon center*

nurse joy: you have an... interesting team.

Argent: *smiles* yeah, I know

*nurse joy hands him his pokemon, then he goes to a hotel and sleeps in spikemuth that night*

Argent: *yawns* rest up, you all. *he looks at his team, which he let out of their pokeballs* we have a big day tomorow. *he falls asleep easily*

Gordie: time to gigantimax!*he gigantimaxes coalossal*

Argent: gyrados, use Sheer cold

*sheer cold misses, and gordie knocks out gyarados*

Argent: fine. Go, suicune! *he sends out suicune* Use hydro pump!

Gordie: Coalossal, use G Max volcalith!

Argent: Doge it, then use surf!

*finnaly, Coalossal is down, and Argent gets his 5th badge*

Argent: great battle! *smiles*

Gordie: yes, it was.

*argent leaves the gym, and heads for spikemuth next*

Argent: *sends out Dragonite* you ready, dragonite

Dragonite: *roars with happiness*

Argent: alright, then take us to spikemuth!

Gordie: let's go. *sends out shuckle*

Argent: this will be interesting... *sends out Gyarados* use hydro pump.

*shuckle is hit with the super-effective/critical hit hydro pump, and it faints. Gordie sends out barbaracle*

Argent: Gyarados, switch out! *next, he sends out his dragonite* use draco meteor!

*barbaracle lives the draco meteor, and hits a stone edge. dragonite loses half health*

Argent: dragonite, use thunder!

*thunder knocks out barbaracle, and Gordie sends out his stonjourner*

Gordie: my final Pokemon... This will CRUSH you! *sends out coalossal*

Argent: go, Gyarados! *he sends out his red gyarados*
