Murmurs of voices, even some shouts and other loud noises, woke Taura up. What? Why are people in my room? She stirred quietly, noting how oddly uncomfortable her bed was. Then came her next sign that something was off. The air around her smelled stale, a bit dank...even burnt maybe? Feeling uneasy, Taura sat up and blinked the sleep out of her eyes. She tensed up.
She was in a dark room and everywhere she looked there were others. Other demons she didn't recognize, even...she couldn't believe it. Some of them appeared to be angels. Taura's face remained still even as her mind whirled and her heart began to beat a bit faster.

What is this place? Where am I, what's happening... She tried to calm herself down. There must be some explanation. Taura adjusted her dress and hung her feet off the side of the bed. There are so many people...some of them must know something.

Taura breathed and spoke calmly and quietly, yet her voice seemed to carry across the room: "Hello?"

Appearance: (This is the picture she is based on)
Taura has short, chin-length hair of a pale pink color that hangs about her face a bit messily. She has thick brown horns that curl around the back of her head with spiraling grooves in them. She has a thin and delicate build, thin elfin ears, and pale skin. Her graceful legs have silver scales on the front and end in fur-lined hooves the same color as her horns. (Idk if hooves would look good, what do you guys think?) She has eyes that are more of a dark pink color than red. Taura usually prefers to wear a blue-tinted black dress with straps and a ruffled lining on top. Taura does have a tail that is usually hidden under her dress though. It's white, has silver scales on top, and ends in a puff of white fur.
Personality: Taura is very composed and keeps to herself. Although she looks young, she has a mature personality. She likes to observe others and will usually only join in a conversation if she feels like she has to say something. When she does speak, she speaks in a quiet voice that still somehow holds the attention of people around her. She keeps a journal that she can make appear and disappear at will and in it, there are notes, runes (she practices magic involving them), and sketches, usually of birds or other things in nature. Taura can be quite stubborn as well though and doesn't appreciate being bossed around. When angry, she will ignore you and her ears will tilt downwards similar to how a cat folds back its ears. She can come off as a bit uncaring at times but she has a kind heart, especially towards children and animals.

So...I hope this isn't bad for me to post to this thread after it has been empty for 2 months but I think it is a very cool thread. I have only read a little but still, I love reading and writing as well and I just wanted to say, about Lucky's latest post, my favorite line was "His brown hair climbed down and clung to his chin in the makings of a scruffy beard." I know that sounds weird but for some reason I just really liked the description, like the word clung just sounds so good.

Anyways, that's all I wanted to say. If it thread revives, I may want to join :)
