Jynyx looked down and shrieked with fear and her rings exploded into a terrified neon green.Below,several gorebyss,tentacruel, and other water types waiting in the froth below.

Jynyx quickly leapt off the raft and let it break into rotted wood shards and jumped from one jagged rock to the next,dodging water pulses and hydro pumps.She landed on a beach with black sand and pokemon skeletons littering the charred sand.A creeping sensation rode up her spine and she dashed through the wooden door in front of her,into a small room made entirely of stone bricks.The open exit was in front of her again,and she went through,but she was back in the same room,and it happened again and again until she realized some etching on the wall beside her:
Sometimes to move forward in life,
You must first go back.
She turned and headed back through the doorway to find herself outside.

Jynyx stepped towards the narrow tunnel as her rings turned blue with excitement.She rushed down the path,staying beside the cave river as the sound grew louder and faster.A mist sprayed her face and she jumped when her paws hit a moldy wood;Before she could react she was plunged down the river on a raft.She struggled to stay upright as the stream began to froth with white foam and rocks jutted out of the water.The raft bumped off them and a waterfall loomed in front of her.Jynyx's rings erupted into a bright,vibrant blue and she squealed excitedly as the raft plunged down the fall,river foam spraying her face.
(What is this,the Pirates of the Carribean Disney ride now?)

Jynyx nodded,barely hearing Icy's response.She had just remembered the cave she had seen.She bounded back out of the castle and into the cave before her throat closed in awe.

The cave was a dome in shape,with stalactites poking down from the roof and water dripping gently down their sides and pooling underneath,the sound echoing beautifully through the space.A small rise in the corner served as a nice place to sit and a cave stream flowed through the back,slithering deep into the narrow tunnel in the back of the cave and disappearing in the darkness.A soft,purple glow reflected off the cave walls and the water,illuminating the entire cavern.

	Jynyx's rings glowed a soft red.'You did not fail.It was I who failed,but you could not do anything to defy the inevitable.'She turned and looked up at the moon,which was visible through the glass roof,and her rings paled into a light blue.'Arceus wanted them.' Jynyx stopped her mourning and dragged the two eeveelutions into a large coffin.She rolled it into the main hall where the thrones were and set it in front of the middle throne for a queen.She shifted uncomfortably and frowned.She hadn't even had any training and she was already plunged into queenship.....
She set an assortment of berries atop the coffin,ready for the mourning ritual in the morning.She fell asleep beside it.

In the morning,the seats had filled with all sorts of pokemon from all regions.
Jynyx sat on her throne,and she had set a card with Icy's name on it on the throne beside hers.She stood up and let her voice ring through the room-
'We stand here today in honor of our leaders,and Icy and I's parents.
They were good pokemon.
Bless their souls.
Let us sing before them.'
After a short song,Jynyx sighed.
'Despite this major loss,a new age has risen.
If we have just passed the Golden age....
Then let this be the Diamond age!Lilith and Aviur's souls guide us to do our best deeds.'

Jynyx felt her begin to stir and set her down on the palace floor.'Fetch a healer!'She called to the nearest soldier after the battle was over.He nodded and pelted off and Jynyx looked in the direction where Lilith had been dragged away.She followed the drag marks until she reached another clearing,and found her mother lying there alone.She put a paw on Lilith's chest.
No movement.
Jynyx squeezed her eyes shut the way she had before she had gone after Addy.But what could she have done?She could only save one pokemon,and she had chosen Addy.The loss would have been sad either way.She picked up her mother's scruff and dragged her back to the palace,before laying her beside her father,who also wasn't breathing.She let a few tears slip out of her eyes before stopping herself.The palace had fallen on her shoulders now.She tipped her head back and let out a long,mournful yowl.

Jynyx burst into the area Addy had fainted.She saw her on the ground and the still-awake Mr.Mime gazing down at her,and something strange happened.
Out of all her anger,she evolved into an umbreon.
The skull mark was still the same on her face,but her rings were a bright red and shadow claws appeared before her paws,ripping at the Mr.Mime relentlessly, until it fell to the ground.Her rings faded into a calm yellow and she picked up Addy's body gently in her mouth before carrying her back to the palace.

Lilith fought skillfully,but with so many pokemon to fight she couldn't win.She fainted from a Girafarig's stomp and was dragged into a forest.

Jynyx saw both Lilith faint and Addy being dragged away,and she had to make a choice.Her mother or nestmaid.
She closed her eyes and swallowed back tears before she dashed after Addy.
'Lilith would've wanted me to,'She kept muttering to herself.

Back at the battle,just before the soldiers arrived,Aviur fainted as well.

Jynyx stepped into her class.
(this came to a dead end real fast DX)

Lilith growled as several pokemon had marched up to the palace entrance-Mr.Mimes,girafarigs,alakazams,lunatones and solrocks, and other psychic types. Lilith called for Aviur and a battle begun.

Jynyx heard the fighting and rushed into the barracks, calling the soldiers awake. She then hurried into the palace front yard to join the fighting,using dark- and ghost- type moves.

Lilith made a strange purring sound.'I love you too,Icy,'she said.'You are a princess,you know?'

Jynyx rolled her eyes,which had finally become visible and were a deep reddish-purple color.Her voice had changed and,although still sounding like ghosts when she sang,had become like that of an army general;strong and determined with a hint of rushed commandment.She was becoming the future queen she was. 'Sorry,' she said.She looked back longingly at the cave before following Addy inside.

Jynyx was outside in the royal garden,watching some wooper walk single-file into the pond.The last one stopped and Jynyx raised a paw and pushed it in after the others.

She heard the plusle's calls and she stood up to come inside when she saw a slit in the ground by a small tree near the pond's edge.She had an urge to explore it now but she told herself she could explore later.

Lilith nodded to the plusle.'Thank you,'she said honestly.She turned and clipped the collar around the eevee's neck and laid the tiara on her forehead.'I name you,in the eyes of Arceus, Jynyx of Phantom Choir and Darkness.'
Jynyx hrrrr'd and shook off the tiara.She pawed again at the new egg and Lilith saw the eevee.'Oh,'she said,and she hesitated before holding the tiara in front of Jynyx.Jynyx puffed out breath and the tiara went from black to icy white,and Lilith laid it on top of the eevee's head.'I name you Icy of Frozen Wonders and Snow.'

A royal hatchery,the king is a flareon named Aviur and the queen an espeon named Lilith. Two eggs are very close to hatching-oh,look,one's hatching now!It's an eevee that is strangely gray,with a skull pattern on it's face and red tear streak patterns beneath its eyes,and its voice is strangely like a chorus of phantoms singing.....oh,well,she's a pretty eevee with a pretty voice. I wonder when the other will hatch?
