I'm a vet/animal therapist, so needless to say I've had plenty of accidents. As for the worst, it has to be a tie between two times; Trying to ride a horse that's never been ridden. It went well for a while until a noise startled it and it bucked me off. Not only did I land on concrete, the 1,600 pound guy apparently thought I was a threat and proceeded to repeatedly trample me. Broke a few ribs, a leg, and my nose. My arm was also so bruised up it was near impossible to move. Buuuut, good news is he's completely tame and now lives happily on a farm~ The other one was when I was fostering a Pit Bull. Great dogs, but once they bit they never let go. While introducing him to a new dog, they didn't get along and got into a fight. While trying to separate them, the pit turned and took a hold of my arm. I'm a small person, so easily it made it to my bone - didn't break it, but it bruised pretty bad. The other dog eventually got him off but not before he shredded my arm up. Luckily it remained intact but it's pretty scarred up. Also luckily, I was able to convince them to not put him down. He's a sweet pup now. uvu [Read more] |
