@Izuku Your lines are SO nice and clean! The one thing I'm noticing is that the lower half seems to be a bit small. The legs looks to be as long as the arms, and legs are usually about the size of the torso and head combined <3 Regardless, the colour palette fits an inkling SUPER well

Not a poem, just something I'm working:

The consolation received by black sheets was comparative to the looming dolor that sat as an unwelcome relative at our deathbed. Silent. Judging, as the criticisms and comfort in-law's were accompanied by, but, instead, every critical opprobrium they spat was sourced from our own core.

Each thought that lacked our typical ideation was quickly dismissed by fatigue, who lay across us as a stubborn child. Our child, who refused to remove them self from their position until they had what they desired - but what did we desire? Happiness? Success? What could one do to provide such things when the child weighed us down further than the 6 foot hole we desired to be buried under.

Our mother, who once posed as a guardian to protect us from the potential threats lurking beneath the surface of each copy-pasted smile, now warned us of every crack beneath the pavement in fear our next step would leave to our untimely demise. She is debilitating. How unfortunate we are to bear such caution at all times, only for her to turn a blind eye when we are the hazard she so desperately searches for.

Game Theory just likes to connect the dots with a lot of things. Sometimes it's based on facts, others are speculation or very similar themes to playfully stick two seperate topics together. It's ALWAYS been like that ( "Mario is a sociopath because of various overlooked things and his actions in spin-off games" vs "Assassins Creed's gravity seems to be stronger than earths based on math") It's called a /theory/ for a reason, not game facts.

If you're going to enjoy Doki Doki for what's on the surface, I have no right to judge! Just know some people like to delve deeper and uncover secrets that the developers left for the players to discover! They wouldn't have left it there for no reason, and there's plenty of evidence that directly points to a second "prequel" game that may even reference Doki Doki!

Many games and tv series were so successful solely based on the mystery surrounding them, and theorizing and coming to individual conclusions only strengthens the hype around a series! (Ex: FNAF, Hello Neighbor, Undertale, Steven Universe)

@Kuruma, I came in late here, so I don't quite understand what's the issue, but consider the following.. This is a DDLC club. We're allowed to post about subject around and similar to the club. Talk about the characters, story, memes, design, theories, etc. as long as it stays on the subject of DDLC. This club also also is about writing as well, so posting things you've written isn't a problem (as long as it's follows the site guidelines). Sometimes people may get the wrong idea, but just explain and it shouldn't be a problem, you know?

If you want to speak to someone about something off-topic (not related to the game or it's subjects), simply take it to Palpad or PMs! <3
