With the group setting up camp in between the dungeon road to Registeel and Regigigas last night, they get up with prepping energy for the dungeon ahead. Before everyone else gets ahead, Remmie goes in to check the dungeon if the pokémon are manageable for him to help Scarlet and Veronica become stronger. What he ends up doing is accidentally use a Trawl Orb and steals a lot of items from a keckleon shop after he happily picks them up. With fortune on his side, he gets to use a stolen Escape Orb and leaves the dungeon intact with the other berries and Apples he never means to steal. Just as he gives the food to everyone, he immediately notices Infinity’s absence from the group. Feeling like a terrible friend who failed to help her when she needs it the most, he makes a return trip with his mate behind him to rescue Infinity. Instead of risking his mate from getting hurt, he requests her to prepare a meal for their lost friend once he brings her back. Thanks to a nearby Drifblim Rescue Station, the rescue becomes much wider and efficient for him to find his friend sleeping under the cold conditions of the dungeon that holds Regice. For Miles, he is pondering about the disastrous aftermath of his relationship with Infinity and his worth to her. Upon completing the rescue, Infinity finally gets to rest in a warm place with a meal ready for her to eat. For Duo and the others, they find the morning to be too soon to go. Hence, they take another long nap again. Though Scarlet wants to fight already, Remmie controls her impatience due to his need of practicing his parenting skills.

Two hours later at 12:00 P.M. noon, most of everybody proceeds to the dungeon. For Infinity, she stays behind with no interest of exploring with everyone for she is still carrying the emotional scars of her broken relationship with Miles. While Scarlet, Veronica, Liz, and Remmie uses the weaker vigoroths as training routines for the newcomers, Duo notices the absence of stronger pokémon which lingers suspicion on his mind, and Fang, Miles, and Jolt just watch over the training Scarlet and Veronica do.

All of this changes once Jin, now a fully evolved Zoroark, greets them from Regigigas’s chamber filled with vengeance and lust for Godlike-Powers and status. Since Dea only arrives at this moment, she decides to stay away from the fight for Duo to settle this feud one-on-one, which Remmie agrees due to exhaustion and respect, and Veronica not wanting to get killed just now. Just before the fight even intensifies, Infinity blindly joins the fight followed by Jolt intruding along the fight. Finally able to fill up his hate, Jin strikes a hug barrage of Shadow Balls at the fully evolved Miles. With most of everyone struck by his rage save the young ones, Duo sees the desperation of his fellow companion’s safety. Leaving him no choice, he forcefully evacuates everybody to the next floor and seals the path with his flame wall. At long last, the two brothers get to fight properly while the others either proceed onwards or watch in horror. Jin is still convincing that Duo cannot do anything to save him at this point. For Miles, he feels conflicted that Duo is restraining him from helping him in times of serious need. With all of the great issues on fighting or not fighting going on, Dea only ends up staying at the fight lending her Helping Hands with Miles officially joining the fight against Duo’s judgement.

Besides this fight, back at the illage, Purple ends up with a rude awakening with a malicious visitor who knows about his trainer named Sooki in the form of a Nidoking, which happens to be the same one that killed Purple’s pokémon family and trainer. Back at the dungeon, it was only a matter of time before the sadistic ego of Jin dissipates with the power of Regigigas resurfacing to the room with a purple orb being dropped (Shadow Synergy Stone reference?). With the Jin they knew once nice and funny, the three feuding brothers finally settle down after Miles beat up an already downed Regigigas. A token that Jin gets to show and keep is a compass found inside Regigigas’s domain. Besides that, Miles finds an Orange Orb with Duo getting what appears to be the last fragment of the orb parts he collected throughout the travel of Mt. Trio. It turns out that this completed orb coming from the powers of the Regi Quartet has the ability to turn anyone shiny in one use.

As everyone leaves the mountain and return to the village, save for Infinity who walks out of the dungeons alone, and Fang who also got left behind in the return trip and battle with Regigigas and Jin, a tournament was set up there with an arena built and suggested by Miles as to who will get a new shiny look. While most of the strongest pokémon (Liz, Duo, Miles, Infinity, Fang, and Jin) are good with the tourney according to Duo, Remmie (with a warning of him fighting them if they let Liz fight pregnant), Dea, and the other young residents refuse. Miles then notices Purple’s absence unaware of his kidnapping.

Back at the distant forest, Infinity’s morality reaches an all time low as she’s losing faith on her friends that tried to help her and her inability to help her friends, she wanders alone once more. It only takes nearly an hour for Remmie, who wanders the riverside until he sees a forest and explores it for self meditation, to see the horrible psychological and physical state of Infinity frightens him for what she could do to hurt herself more than she could hurt others for she has unstable emotions as well. As much as Remmie tries to reason with her, Infinity’s sadistic ego takes over her as the nice and forgiving side becomes helpless. Without noticing it immediately for both chinchilla and leopard, Fang, Dea, Liz, and Scarlet catches up to witness the horrors of a dual personality that Infinity has as she unleashes her rage at a tree being resided by 2 weedles. Just as Remmie saves the two worms from the falling tree, his friend turned malicious attacks him without mercy with one blow causing him to bleed out a lot of blood on his gaping stomach wound. As Remmie starts to lose hope, he shouts out his declaration to everyone near him if it would be alright for him to kill his first friend if she cannot be saved for what she had become. This triggers the two colliding sides of Infinity in a tug of war for control over the other. This one moment is all Remmie needs to know that the friend he knows all this time is still there. But it also tells him that she is also suffering a similar ailment to Jin without Giratina’s involvement. It does not take long before both pokémon drops down from exhaustion and blood loss respectively.

Just as the conflict comes to a resolution, it becomes the time when Miles and Duo catch up to the scene of the event, and also when Veronica decides to explore a dungeon on her own for training. Dea begins her healing treatment to Remmie with Liz’s healing pulse to keep him alive. Unfortunately for Fang, just before he can check on the group, a blue figure with fluffy black fur, strange red eyes wearing a pendant with an odd swirl on it looking like a marble, yellow dragon wings around each eye, three tails twisting and turning with yellow wires attached to separate parts of the body, and has a scar across one eye and a sharp purple gem stuck into its shoulder comes in to the worn out group. Intimidating Fang, who just got up, and the others, the psychic feline sticks with the beaten group. As for Remmie, the intensity of the situation means that he knows that he is vulnerable. He needs somebody to bring him to safety. Just as Duo finds Remmie being injured, after a few clarifications, he carries the cinccino back to the village just as Jolt leaves the fight. Just after that small bonding moment, Duo returns to the fight as quickly as he can. Sometime later at the village, Veronica returns from her dungeon trip to greet Purple who somehow returns to the village to know each other. Seeking Duo, both young pokémon make a journey to find him. Thanks to Remmie’s tracks, they get to find him in the middle of the fight

With Duo, Liz, Dea, Fang, Miles, and Scarlet set for the fight against a mega luxray that possibly belongs to Fang’s nemesis, Girafraig. He fight ensues starting with a clash of attacks and stats between Duo in his Mega Form and the Mega Luxray. As the two young ones join the fight, in the distance, an innocent lapras watches the dreadful scene of the upcoming one-on-one duel with the mega luxray versus the lapras itself named Gokul. Not wanting an unfair fight and ordered by the mistress to leave them be, the luxray leaves them with the path to Girafraig’s Lair where Fang can finally get his revenge. As for Infinity, she gets the comforting company of Liz and checks on her condition.
