"Ah geez... First day and I'm already messing things up." Kiara leaned against the wall, a hand to her face. "I'm trying my best, I really am but..." The dragon grumbled sadly but nodded, jumping off from her shoulder. "Root, what are you doing?" He gazed at her in determination, wanting her to get a friend that wasn't just a dragon. Kiara slowly awoke as Root was climbing on her face to wake her up. "Okay okay..!" she laughed, letting the young dragon climb down before she sat up. As she got herself ready, the excitement of her first day of Lockwvern getting to her. Kiara stopped her excitement as she carefully put the eyepatch on, fixing her hair to cover it. "You happy Root?" she asked, feeling his talons slightly dig into her shoulder. The small dragon growled excitedly, loosening his grip in case he was hurting her.
