@AlienSnowflake - I did a quick test so I could show you sceenshot proof. This is from Emera Bank.
I sent 100 PD as a gift to myself, so it deducted 105 PD.
I cancelled the gift, so I got back the 100 PD + the 5 PD tax. Tax is only paid with a successful trade/gift, not with cancelled ones.

Small edit to clarify it's impossible to lose PD by trading/gifting to yourself, because you can only Cancel those trades/gifts, not accept them. You cannot have a succesful trade/gift with/to yourself.

	How does trading with yourself cause you to lose money? The taxes are also returned if you cancel the trade if/when you need the money. [Read more]

	I can see the 'Giga' button even though my (normal) Meowth is holding an Everstone. Maybe you can try clicking it once yours is strong enough to figure out if the everstone stops it or not? If you need to take the everstone away, you need to give it back after gigaing. For some reason, Giga formes aren't stopped from evolving. [Read more]

Writing Contest

Booh! Scared you, didn't I? :3
Halloween is always such a fun time, with all the costumes and candy gathering. . . What do you mean, it's not even close? Let me just check that. . . You're right! My calendar is lying to me!

Great, I'm totally feeling the spirit ~~get it~~, but it's way too early in the year. What to do? I know! Let's bring the spirit of Halloween to PokéHeroes right now, so we can all enjoy the spooks longer than usual.

Now, to think of a way to do that. . . Maybe you know some riddles? Some spoooooooky riddles that make us shiver in fright as we think of the answer. Sounds great to me! Maybe they'll even be used for the Halloween Event in the ~~way too far~~ future :D

Reward Time
As always with contests, there's something in it for everyone who puts in the effort. If your riddle is one of the five winners, you will receive a Flute Combo as a prize!

If you join but don't win, you will still receive a consolation prize of 500 Event Points as thanks for joining (:

Requirements
Entry: Riddles are usually questions that have you thinking out-of-the-box. Playing with the meaning of words, figurative vs. literal, using synonyms, antonyms, the list goes on! The main point of a riddle is not having an immediate answer. You need to think about it.
"How's the weather?" Is not a riddle. "It's been raining all day, yet your flowers outside still need water. How come?" is a riddle.
Make sure your riddle can be solved, without any culture-specific information. It should also relate to Pokémon/PokéHeroes in some way. As the title implies, make sure it's scary/spooky.
Length: Riddles are usually short and to the (hidden) point, so try and keep the riddle somewhere around 50 words, maximum.
Copyright: The entry has to be written entirely by you. You are allowed to draw inspiration from other riddles, but you cannot copy-paste any part of them.

How to enter
When you are satisfied with your entry, send it through PM to CatLady. You can submit up to 5 riddles. If you post it in the thread, it will be disqualified.

Make sure to put "Spooky Riddle Submission" as your subject, so it doesn't fall through the cracks when I start collecting them.

Deadline

The deadline is August 19th, 23:59
The winners will be chosen by us, the staff, based on quality.
