	I just checked and yeah, I've got this issue, as well. it seems to be sitewide? I feel like we've had a similar bug in the past, maybe last year or something? I don't remember what happened, but hopefully it'll be back to normal sometime soon. unless it's an extra DP event that I didn't know about, haha. [Read more]

I kinda get what you're talking about, like it's hard to keep track of people, right? honestly I leave PH for five seconds and everyone changes their names, haha.

however, that's why PH has measures in place. there's a limit on how often you can change your username; the old link stays active for quite a gracious while; and you can always check your palpad or messages or whatever if you've talked to them at all. personally, I don't think a new feature is strictly necessary for this.

If you're tackling a long project, I'd just pick something okay-sounding and come back to edit it another time; maybe inspiration will hit later down the line, or you'll find a way to use the first sentence as foreshadowing. ... unless you're writing for an RP or something like that, in which case I d'no how to help. 8'D

really, as long as you try to avoid common story openers I'm sure you'll be fine! Go for it! :')

I'm a bit of a wallflower, too. *high fives* Or at least I try to be? Being popular is not one of my goals, never. 8''D ... hmm, I think fanfics are more challenging for me to write at the moment - maybe because I've become used to original stuff again? I can tell I'm still a burnt out from transcribing/typing so much, too.

Okay, duly noted! I will make sure to watch some of the dub for Baccano!. It sounds fun. ~~yes I can, mostly. But sometimes I really rely on those furigana for spelling kanji 8'D~~ I own the first few volumes of Detective Conan (Meitantei Conan!) in Japanese and English so I can compare. It's actually very fun! Good inspiration for writing, as well.

I haven't been reading much fanfic lately, I'm behind on the archives a ton. ~~Maybe it's because I'm picky.~~ I'd love to pick up reading again, tho'! Hmm, I've heard you can buy them for cheap in the Nanowrimo forums. But they're not sold all year long, so. :'>
