This issue occurred when you refreshed and resubmitted the action after handing in a task.

This is now prevented and it's no longer possible to accidentally hand in a task you didn't select. Fixed.

This issue has now been fixed. You can safely use multiple tabs/devices at the bulletin board now. Refreshing the page after removing a task no longer removes a second task.

This is not a bug. The limit is to prevent you from further mass-clicking via clicklists. Doing a couple of interactions here and there with individual Pokemon is fine.

Fixed a bug where claiming the Zarude egg sometimes failed (new server issue). Those who were affected by it should now have had a new Zarude encounter triggered, where you can claim the egg again.

Send me a PM if you were also affected by this but still haven't gotten a new encounter. Please also tell me at what time you tried to claim the egg, so I can properly verify it in the logs.

@Csoxi: The alternative form might be added in the future, but currently there are no plans. So not this year, no.

A Rogue Monkey Returns

The first hints of autumn are starting to show—the air is crisp, and the trees are just beginning to trade their green for vibrant shades of gold and orange. Though summer is behind us, it’s not quite time to retreat indoors just yet! What’s that sound coming from outside? Could it be... a Monkey?

Zarude comes back to Emera Town!
Yes, the long-awaited return is here: the mythical Pokémon Zarude has arrived in Emera Town for the month of September! This elusive creature is eager to meet daring trainers and is known to offer special gifts to those who manage to impress it. How do you catch its eye? Word has it that interacting with a variety of Pokémon might just do the trick!

Meeting Zarude
The requirement to meet Zarude is very simple: Interact. Interact a lot!
There is no set interaction requirement - it appears randomly. Maybe after 100 interactions, maybe after 1,000 interactions - or, if you're pretty unlucky, maybe after 100,000 interactions.
When Zarude wants to meet you, a small icon pops up in your Userbar:
You can't miss it. Zarude stays there until you claim its gift.
Notice: It's not possible to have multiple Zarude in your Userbar at the same time. You have to accept Zarude's gift in order to meet it again.

Feeding berries (instead of "training" a Pokémon) gives a 20% higher chance of encountering Zarude!

Zarude's Gift
Zarude will offer you two different gifts:
A legendary Zarude Egg and a Zarude Plushie (which has a 20% of being shiny). Tough choice!

Increase Zarude's shiny chance
You can actively increase the odds of receiving a Shiny Zarude egg by first accepting Zarude Plushies as the gift you receive. Every time you claim the plushie gift, the shiny chance for the next Zarude egg you'll claim increases. Your current shiny chance is always displayed below the Zarude egg option on the event page.
As soon as you claim a Zarude egg, however, the chance resets back to normal and you'll have to "shiny chain" the plushies again. So it might be advisable to stay patient until the odds are high enough!
And if you are superduper patient and want to reach a 100% shiny chance, then there's good news: The shiny odds are carried over to the next year, so you can continue to raise it year by year - however long it will take you.

Zarude stays until September 30th, 2024.

There isn't really an "expected workload".
We have about 5-7 event lines per year, and have 4 spriters. So you can do the math...
Communication is also rather informal and ad hoc.

06/09/2024:

Our Event Pokemon Solaris, Chingling (Daydream) and Chingling (Nightmare) have been added to the Event Shop.

Until September 20th, you can get a discount deal when buying a combo event pass for both Chingling!

P.S.: ... Buizel (Emera) will also become available soon, but not through the Event Shop.

I see some comments saying that certain Pokemon should be excluded from the EggDex count.

I personally disagree with this. We are talking about shiny hunting literally the ultimate Pokemon. Mewtwo, Deoxys, etc. are meant to be the ultimate rewards for the Dex.
If someone really reaches the point where shiny Arceus (or the others) becomes a serious concern for their collection (e.g. shiny Dex), then I'm convinced that they're also able to get their hands on a ditto egg, the Regi eggs etc.

For some, these are hard to get, sure. But none of them are impossible.
And again: hunting these shiny Dex rewards is like the "ultimate long-term goal". It's not something a player should aim towards after "only" a few hundred hours of game time.

Currently, there are two "problems":

- There is no reward for completing the EggDex. Nothing happens after you reach this achievement.
- The dex reward legendaries (Mewtwo, Deoxys, Arceus, ...) which you receive after completing the regional regular Pokedexes are breedable. This means that they are shiny-huntable via the daycare. But: Their breeding chances are very low and thus it takes much patience to hatch their shinies. Sometimes months.
In my opinion, their low breeding chances make sense. These are very special legendaries, they shouldn't be easy to shiny hunt like a regular Pokemon. Hunting them needs to be challenging.

But is it challenging to wait months for the shiny?
... Well, yes, it is a bit challenging, but it's most likely also a bit boring.

So here is my proposal:
After completing the EggDex of region X, your breeding chances for the dex reward of region X are increased by 300%. For example, if you complete the Sinnoh EggDex, your Arceus breeding chances are three-times as high.
This way, it is still not as easy to shiny hunt them, but you can actively work towards increasing your odds. In a challenging yet fun way.

Only problem:
Mewtwo is the dex reward of both Kanto and Johto. There my proposal is that you need to complete the Kanto EggDex and the Johto EggDex to get the sweet 300% bonus. If you only complete one of the two, you only have a 200% bonus.

I just monitored the lab for 50 seconds (i.e. 50 updates) and latency was always between 30ms and 60ms. So perfectly fine.
It's possible that during high activity and/or server backups, lab refresh rates slow down a bit. But this shouldn't be a new server issue...

The fact that the clicklist loading times are high is unsurprising. When you go to the clicklist page, your clicklists are initially generated. This takes some time - but this initial process will then make using the clicklists super fast.
You will also notice that this lag only happens once. If you refresh the clicklists page, the loading times are much faster since clicklists are already generated.

04/09/2024:

Update regarding Paldea Research:
Research tasks requiring you to hatch specific eggs (based on type or rarity) now given you more Research Points per egg than before. For example, "Hatch X Rare eggs" previously gave you X-times 5 RPs, while now it gives you X-times 10 points. This is due to balancing reasons, as finding specific eggs is a lot more difficult than just adopting and hatching random eggs.

This update applies both to the regular Koraidon/Miraidon Quest, as well as any future time-limited Paldea Research Events. (Note that it only affects new tasks given to you. If you already have a pending task from before this update, then the old numbers still apply.)

Speaking of which: The next Paldea Research Event will start in October. My current idea is to always have them run for 2 months and then give players one months of a break, before the next one starts.

03/09/2024:

Update 1: The Cooking Pot (in the toolshed at the berrygarden) now allows you to specify the amount of times you'd like to cook the same recipe in a row. This is especially handy when you need to mass-produce the same product, e.g. the Hoenn Tonic for the on-going Berry Battle. This way, you don't need to click on the pot and select the recipe over and over again.
Note that the cooking pot (still) has a maximum queue size, so the selectable amount is limited.

This update was originally suggested and highly approved by our community.

Update 2: The cooking pot now also let's you select whether you'd like to use the lowest or highest possible levels for your berries that are to be used for the cooking process. Of course you can always change the selection manually.

The cooking pot now also lets you select the amount. This way you no longer have to redundantly click on the cooking pot and select the same recipe over and over again.

The original suggestion also showed a way of selecting multiple different recipes at once. This has not been implemented and probably won't be. While it does look fancy, I think the added benefit would be too small and not justify the amount of work that would need to be put into making this work.

Let's do some calculations. Say we want to cook 3 Pomeg Soda and 1 Biscuit (Small).

Without the proposed update:
- Click on pot
- Click on drinks category
- Click on Pomeg Soda
- Type 3
- Cooking Time
- Click on pot
- Click on biscuit category
- Click on small biscuit
- Cooking Time

=> 9 "clicks"

with the proposed update:
- Click on pot
- Click on drinks category
- Click on Pomeg Soda
- Type 3
- Click on "Back to categories"
- Click on biscuit category
- Click on small biscuit
- Cooking Time

=> 8 "clicks"

I don't think that's worth the effort.

So I am moving this to "Implemented" now :)

There is only one Route 102 Upgrade for the ranklist (the regular Route 102 is unlocked after clearing all regular May tasks).

So you need to be in 3-times in the top 50:
1) Route 102 Celebi Upgrade
2) King's Rod
3+) Retro Bellossom
