Yeah, maybe lets just ask Silver. After all, you guys know Miko better than me, and Silver has turner out to be quite agreeable. What do you think?

“Hey! Wait for me!” Shadow called, racing to catch up with Alex. “Whoa, bro, you gotta wait for others sometimes. Can I join in? I’ve never seen Lyra in battle, but I bet her bow packs a serious punch.

Shadow’s heart was racing. Hopefully today he would find a black ember and evolve. Speaking for going on quests, he still didn’t know where they were going.

He dropped back to where Lyra was and asked “where are we going” he asked.

After waking up, and going through his usual routines, including counting his current stash of 800 coins, he decided to go visit Alex. On the way, he bumped into the first cat he met, Lyra, who seemed to also be going to Alex’s room for a quest.
Shadow wondered what Lyra would be like. She seemed very kind and happy. Also, she was by the quest board, and Shadow was pumped from last night, and wanted to go on another quest!

“Hi, I’m Shadow, from two nights ago”, he said. “You look like you want to go questing, can I join?”

Back at his room, Shadow lay down on his beanbag. He was thinking about everything he did today. He joined the guild, made friends with Silver and Alex, defeated a dragon, and got a ton of gold in the process. He experienced a lot of abilities, and even a evolution! He met Miko (although that didn’t turn out too well, he’d try again tomorrow), and defeated an enormous dragon. What a day, he thought, as he drifted off to sleep.

	Shadow shrugged Alex’s paw off. Why was he acting like Shadow knew nothing? Well, he may not have been the best when trying to have a conversation. Shadow appeared out of nowhere. Hey guys, I was just resting when I heard all this commotion. I thought you knew that they were related. After all, you’ve at least seen them together once.

	Shadow pronounced his agreement. If not for you and your sword, we all would have hurt or even dead by now. Plus, you hurt yourself to heal Alex... I think you deserve it. Deep inside, Shadow knew that anyways he probably needed a black ember to evolve, so he was fine with giving it up, as it wouldn’t affect. [Read more]

Shadow watched, mesmerized as Silver rubbed her paw over Alex’s wounds. “Woaaahhh”, he said. That’s an incredibly useful ability. But does your blood only work on other people? If so, you basically have to sacrifice yourself to save another. “I wonder what I would do if I had that power in that situation?” Shadow thought. “It would be hard for me to live with the knowledge that someday I might sacrifice myself to save someone else.”

Shadow smiled. “Oh, I’m fine. Alex is a bit cut up though. Could you teach me how to apply first aid? It would be a cool addition to my skill set.
Inside, Shadow thought, I’m not entirely certain if Alex is telling the truth. Shadow had many experiences where he had to ask dragons questions, and knew when someone was lying. The thing was, why would Alex hide the power to use fire? In his opinion, thats a really cool ability.

Shadow saw Alex put his paws to the dragon, and use electricity. “I guess I was wrong about him using fire”, he thought. “I guess that really was a mirage.”

He was snapped back to reality when he saw Alex flying off the dragon. “Alex!” He shouted, and raced off to see if he was okay.

After arriving at where Alex landed, Shadow inspected him. Just a few wounds, but the sand made it worse. He asked Alex if he would be okay with washing his wounds with salt water, as they were near the ocean.
