Kitty's tail wagged happily.

"You're definitely right about that! I'm so curious about all the other pokemon, especially the ones that are different colors than the rest. But id never get the courage to talk to them. Besides, I've got you, don't I?" She purred.

They had been walking for quite awhile now, but she didn't mind. Aside from her rising anxiety, that is. But she could faintly make out the mixture of scents, old and new, not far ahead; they shouldnt be too far away now.

Kitty thought about what he said for a moment before nodding in agreement.

"I guess you're right about that," she said shyly, "but honestly I'd much rather take a nap then start conversations. I'm sure you'll be able to make plenty of friends!"

She frowned and started thinking to herself. She could make a great warrior if she tried hard enough, but was that really what she wanted? Hurting others felt... wrong. But hunting was so much fun and she didn't want to give that up. Besides, it wasn't likely that the clans would fight any time soon ~~she hoped~~.

Kitty, nervous, quietly followed her leader and the rest of her clan towards the ceremony. She'd be staying in her home clan, but that didn't make her feel any more confident in not embarrassing herself or her clan. At least if she did, she wouldn't be embarrassing two clans...

She observed the Monferno bouncing around hollering with excitement and couldn't help but to smile to herself. Today was supposed to be a happy day, and she should be too. As long as everything went smoothly, everything would return to pretty much normal the next day, and she couldn't wait to start training again.

Someone said something about poison.

She didn't know who said it, but her ears picked up the word nonetheless and she began inspecting the food even more closely than she had before. There was so much snake-like chatter that she couldn't help but to appreciate that no one had bothered to talk with her yet. She wouldn't be able to keep herself from saying something nasty in response.

Someone left, piping her interest. Did that mean she could leave now? Probably not. She'd still have to wait. She made an effort to get into this place, and she'd have to keep making an effort to stay.

There were too many names to remember. If she even cared to. Sure, she'd probably learn the names of the higher-ups and perfects within the week, but as for the large crowd of students that sat at adjourning tables, she couldn't have cared less. It wasn't why she was here

The microphone the mismatched eye man was using was too loud for her ears. The hood of the cloaks the school provided did little to stifle the barrage of noises. It was all she could do to sit patiently for when they would be dismissed. She doubted they would have classes on the first day, so all she had to do was get through this banquet and the following tour before she could retreat to the safety of a dorm room.

Not safety... But at least, a quieter place.

The only person of interest at the moment was the man who was talking himself, with his mismatched eyes and loud voice. He seemed too cheery, as if something was astray here that they weren't addressing.
