Going to edit, when IVs are passed down just like in the original. It isn't truly 50-50, one parents can pass all 3 stats and sometimes one passes 1 and the other passes 2,etc. Here is an example of how it would look alike: Two Swannas breed, the best nature you would want is timid and one of them magically ends up being a timid one. You give this one an everstone. The female swanna with the everstone Iv's are 21/12/28/4/0/17, the other swanna, the male one is, 11/2/0/25/30/2. You don't want to just get one perfect stat, you want all of them to have perfect stats so you cash your BP for a destiny knot and give it to the male swanna. Since they're both swannas the chance of Ducklett hatchling will be a 100% and the chance of timid is now 100%. Meaning, its practically perfect if you end up giving it a golden bottle cap and lots of vitamins, but your on a budget so you're going in the natural route. There is a 1/32 chance of getting a perfect 31, it is 1/32 because 0 is an option in this formula. You end up getting a perfect HP female ducklett at 10 eggs with a stat of 31/12/0/30/17, the 5 IVs are passed down from both parents. You end up keep on going and get a male ducklett with perfect SPD 11/2/0/25/30/31. You evolve them, do the same thing and breed them now. The chain of generations keeps on going and now you've gotten a 31/31/31/31/31/28 female swanna. and a 31/31/31/31/27/31 male swanna. You tried one more time and were lucky! There was a 3.25% that this would happen the first try, but it did! The egg hatched and a timid male ducklett with IVs of 31/31/31/31/31/31 took 3 IVs from their dad and 2 Ivs from their mom and their last IV turned into a 31. [Read more] |

Riako changed tall grass this way so its easier, I find no point in changing it. And also, if you're are unable to reclick it you'll have to start remembering things like "its far away!" and most people drawing a tall grass map and using time to update it is enough. Its way easier now because its balanced by memory just like concentration, I would really dislike if it was harder just because people kept forgetting. [Read more] |

Right now its: Regular (almost always)>Shiny (less than 3%)>Mega (less than 3%)>Perfect Regular (less than 0.5%)>Perfect Shiny (less than 0.25%)>Perfect Mega (less than 0.25%)>Perfect Shiny Mega (less than 0.25%) And perfect shiny megas are the rarest pokemon in-game, this just makes the rarest pokemon on site "Perfect Shiny Mega" a little bit down a slot and makes breeding EVs, IVs, and Natures more controllable, they are still the rarest because of natures, but if you just get a parent pokemon with everstone its practically always going to be perfect like how it should be. If this were to happen they would just switch around a little: Regular>Perfect Regular>Shiny>Perfect Shiny>Mega>Perfect Mega>Shiny Mega>Perfect Shiny Mega (currently means the rarest pokemon on site would be a perfect female shiny mega lucario-sensei) (also, thanks for commenting Xd, this is about over a week old now and I was wondering why people were down voting it but no one was commenting, I see this is the major problem then) [Read more] |

So it hit me, that not many people have a straight idea about what ivs and evs are and I think a great way to start of making battling more relevant to this site would be to add a way to show their Iv's. Under the speed stat I think there should be a way to show their Iv's with a possible labeling of - 31HP/31ATK/31DEF/31SATK/31SDEF/31SPD EVs I think should be more hidden (they should be kept how they are already) and only really matter until your pokemon are level 100, but IV's definitely should be shown so people have a way to breed easier. Now onto the breeding suggestions: Natures will be pass down pure randomly like they've always will on default. 3 Iv's will pass down from either parent (50-50 which parent passes down their IV, this happens 3 times) on default. The items below will do their usual in-game effects with an add-on. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (Cost 60 BP in battle shop, Macho Brace) ![]() (Cost 60 BP in battle shop, Destiny Knot) ![]() (Cost 200 BP in battle shop, Bottle Cap) ![]() (Cost 1000 BP in battle shop, Gold Bottle Cap) (there will be 2 more massages making there will be 8 in total, this is so pokemon that are received as gifts such as alolan pokemon can be made perfect, but its relatively pricy) New massages in the salon: Treatment:Hyper Massage (possible) Description:A special massage that can only be used on Pokemon level 100 or higher. It requires a special technique to max out one stat of a Pokemon to their full genetic potential. Due to this, only elusive bottle caps are accepted as currency. Price:0 PD Time:30 minutes Requirements:Level 100 or higher, Stat is picked randomly if it isn't at 31 IVs already, If all IVs are maxed to 31 you are unable to do this, if pokemon was massaged that day already you are unable to do this. Treatment:Super Hyper Massage (possible) Description:A special massage that can only be used on Pokemon level 100 or higher. It requires a special technique to max out all stats of a Pokemon to their full genetic potential. This technique requires a lot of effort and I only require an exotic gold bottle cap for it. Price:0 PD Time:3 hours Requirements:Level 100 or higher, If all IVs are maxed to 31 you are unable to do this, if pokemon was massaged that day already you are unable to do this. Also, I think upon winning a long battle when battling the amount of BP you should get should be 12 except for 9 as 9BP isn't a lot comparing to how much time you used for the battle, it could make people want to battle more, or things like rare candies prices can be buffed. This is an add-on to the suggestion, since IVs will be public shown, base stats should be too. Right now we clearly don't know if the event Pokémon have different base stats like the 8 harvest sprites. We're just assuming they are all the same base stats as victini Sum it up: IVs should be shown on hatched pokemon 4 new battle shop items (30 items now) 2 new massages (8 massages now) More item trades in the emera beach Breeding additions Maxium amount of BP should be 12 except for 9 Base stats should be shown in more-info in the Pokedex Hope its not a lot to code but it can drastically make perfect pokemon easier as right now its almost impossible (literally (1/31)*(1/31)*(1/31)*(1/31)*(1/31)*(1/31)*(1/25)) much rarer than shinies and shiny-megas in general. Also if you aren't affected by it/wouldn't use it, you gotta realize there are competitive people here still and this can be a great help when they make their teams as not everyone just hunts for shinies and megas.
