Tallis is waiting by his locker when he hears a sound coming from across the school. It sounds like a yelp of pain. Soon enough, he follows the shrill cry to the gymnasium, and the noise stops. He glances into the large room and he sees a body.

"Who is this!?" He asks quietly. "What-- what happened?"

Running up to the body, he places a hand on its chest. His eyes widen, and his other hand covers his ear as if he hears an unpleasant noise. He backs away slowly.
