As I'm sure most of you know, Minior is rather difficult to obtain, seeing as the only way it can currently be obtained is either through breeding (which takes a very long time) or buying from another user. After discussing it with Riako, we wanted to find a way to release it through a site-wide event once again. Here's what I propose:

The idea that first popped into my head was to release it in a way similar to how Shaymin is released. To elaborate, I was thinking the event could be something like this:
Every one-hundred years, a rare meteor shower arises, right above Emera. After careful inspection, scientists discovered that these weren't just any ordinary meteors: they're a rare species of Pokémon, now called Minior! However, these mysterious Pokémon aren't any ordinary Pokémon...there's a special core enclosed in their rocky exterior. Minior only shows itself to trainers it strongly trusts...will you be one of them?

So how does the event work?

After a user makes a random amount of interactions, a Minior sprite will appear in their userbar (similar to the Shaymin event.) The chances of getting a core form will be lower than getting the meteor form, but the more interactions a user makes, the higher the chance of getting a core! As long as a user is interacting, they can continue getting Miniors in their userbar.

That's the base idea that I have. If you guys have any other ideas, don't hesitate to leave them in a reply!

Basically, I think suggestions should have an option to be posted anonymously. My main reasoning for this is to keep personal bias out of the equation, so users can focus on the suggestion itself, not the person who posted it.

For example, it's possible that a user posts a suggestion, and another user (who doesn't like the first person for whatever reason) decides to vote against it, or not vote at all, simply because they don't like the original poster. This sounds petty, but it's not unlikely that it's happened before. I think having an option to suggest things anonymously would help keep the voting legitimate In addition, it would help keep users from feeling embarrassed about their suggestions being rejected. Of course, moderators and Riako would be able to see who posted it, but the suggestion would appear anonymous to everyone else.

As the title states, I think minior should be added to the event shop. I think it should be added for three reasons mainly:
1. Its rarity is event
2. It breeds similarly to an event pokemon (the daycare only produces cores every so often)
3. It can only currently be obtained by trading with other users or by breeding (like other event pokemon)

I think adding it to the event shop would definitely help make shiny hunting it easier, especially if you're hunting the cores. Because it's genderless and can only be bred with ditto, hunting it can take a very long time (I'm hunting it currently and it's taking..very long). Trying to get a core from the daycare takes even longer. Plus, as stated above, users can only obtain a minior by either buying one or borrowing someone else's and breeding. Adding them to the event shop would allow users who couldn't get one originally to purchase one from the store, thus obtaining one much easier. In addition, because they could be obtained much easier, shiny hunting would be quicker and less laborious!

Edit: After some discussions I've had, Riako is thinking of ways to implement Minior site-wide, besides just possibly adding it to the event shop. I think hosting another Minior event would be a great idea to increase its popularity and make Minior easier to obtain in a fun way!
