Abryn Soelare "YOU'RE HURTING HIM!" Oh lovely. First thirty minutes of being here and some idiots were already bickering and getting physical? Honestly... What did he expect? Not like this was uncommon, people having their disagreements and all, but seriously? Here of all places? this early too? Abryn was just about to have a nap, already bored of the seemingly random conversations happening all around him that he couldn't even be bothered to pay attention to. That yell was just startling enough to disturb him, never to return to that blissful slumber again... He took one last sip from his mug of coffee before hoisting himself off the chair with a sigh, his movements already somewhat groggy. Abryn took a moment to stretch his back before stuffing his hands into his coat pockets, then made his way to the commotion. Jesus... Bunch of teenagers talking with their fists. He recognized one of them, Andreja, figuring the rest were probably interns. Not surprising, she was a bit of a hot-head, but the time it took for her to get into trouble was. He stood before the two, looking over at the much younger bystander before glaring back at the WWE fighters. "Aaaaalright, break it up you two..." Cassidy Louvin Oh yeah. She completely forgot that she was supposed to be scary, honestly. This was one of the first times Cass actually interacted with Andrea, never really having the chance to due to being in far different departments. Although... Now that she thought of it, she heard a bit of chit chat every now and then about how intimidating she really was. Oh well! That never stopped her before, maybe Andrea wasn't as scary as everyone said, right? Orrrr maybe, just maybe Cass was oblivious enough to be one of the lucky ones. The thought that Andrea would probably kill anyone else didn't even come into her mind. Less annoying, huh? Those words sent a small tinge of pain into her heart, but the goofy smile still remained. She was always told about how her eccentric and outgoing attitude was a pain in the ass to deal with, but... At least she wasn't being shooed away, or worse, smacked, right? Cass went a little bug-eyed at the comment about men screaming, a little shocked and taken aback, but over all still fascinated. Really driving the whole "supervillainess" vibe home there, aren'tcha? Cass thought it was cool, as made obvious by the lack of any self-preservation and continued attachment to her new buddy. Even if the term was a bit one-sided. Fun little quirks made people unique, y'know? It was always great to run into someone this fun and interesting. "Prey?" She watched with a small laugh as Andrea made those gestures. "Oooh, how frightening~" "Alright, noted! Hope I can return the favor and all, show my 'preciation, y'know?" Cass was probably grinning ear to ear by now, smiling so much it would make the Joker jealous. Been a while since anyone other than her family and small children made such a meaningful interaction with her. Sure, there were others here who knew her and all but they usually never... Let's just say "met on good terms." Speaking of good terms, was that a nickname she heard? Alia. Damn that was a neat one. Better than Cass, honestly... "Alia..." She repeated, "I like it!" Speaking of nicknames, Andrea sure was using quite the variety for Cass. She didn't mind being called "darling" and "cutie", honestly. Plus, made the conversation more relaxed, somehow. The compliments kept rolling as well, flustering Cassidy even more. And the confidence? Andrea clearly took pride in her work and wasn't afraid to show it, Cass admired that, and honestly wished she could do the same. Sure she wasn't all that hard on herself and all, she knew she was going far in her line of work based off age and skill alone, but it still felt a little wrong to be proud of it. She was just doing what she wanted to do, doing what she was told, meeting standards, right? Didn't feel all that special, but if someone like Andrea thought it was "not too shabby," then who was she to say otherwise? "I-" Deep breaths Cass, it shouldn't be possible to be this flustered. "Uh... Thank you! Just doin' my best, heh. I think you're doin' pretty good yourself!" [Read more] |

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- was that the bite of 87 -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Akari simply sat in silence that entire time, gazing worryingly at Sawyer. Chop chop chop, that's all they did. A few words here and there, them reassuring that they were supposedly alright. "Sawyer!" That even startled Akari. The tension had been building, the rhythmic chopping and lack of response from Sawyer didn't help either. Then the knife fell. Clattered to the floor. The metallic ring of the blade hitting the tile, it wasn't a new one. Goddammit. He stayed in silence, unsure whether or not his involvement would make things better or worse. He didn't know what to do, not like he ever did anyways. Oh well, before he could wallow in his own sorrows for too long, that damn bear spoke up once again. "Ding dong ding~ puhuhuhu! It's time for lunch time, kiddos! Gotta keep in tip top shape if you want to escape~ and enjoy your MURDEROUSLY delightful prom tonight!" "Better hurry up~ I think you'll find something very interesting there..." Well... They were already kinda there. How unfortunate, Akari wanted to stay away from any of this as much as he could. Not only that, prom was mentioned again. Oh lovely. The time only drew closer and closer, and Akari had the creeping feeling that he wouldn't be able to get out of it this time. He tried do desperately to put it out of his mind, forget about it all, hope that he wouldn't have to endure whatever hell Monokuma had planned, but guess things weren't that easy. They never were, after all. Why can't I forget? Do things really have to be so cruel? He decided to stay where he was, no point in clambering over to fall into another one of Monokuma's sick tricks. Last time that happened, Horatia was found Gojo'd and things crumbled apart. But the recollection brought a new thought to his mind. What could this "interesting thing" possibly be? Another hint? Another sick game, like those damn secrets? Another body? "...sounds like prom might be a... Bit of a bust." Akari pretty much breathed a sigh of relief, although he hoped it wasn't too obvious. Thank God. But Lucian looked uneasy. He felt a little bad, unable to have any sort of positive influence, but at the moment... Even bothering to try didn't seem worth it. The pasta was handed out, and Sawyer continued on with their shenanigans. Akari wasn't exactly quick to dig in, almost stalling to take the first bite. Sawyer, on the other hand, was just staring at the plate mindlessly. It was... honestly troubling to see. And the announcement didn't make it any better. just as he was about to start eating, the intercom flared to life once again and rang that horrid alarm throughout the whole school. "A BODY HAS BEEN DISCOVERED! A BODY HAS BEEN DISCOVERED! EVERYONE PLEASE GATHER IN THE CAFETERIA!" No... God, no... What the hell...? He completely froze, the news once again sending a shock throughout his entire body. There was a corpse in the room right next to them, and they didn't even know. A murder happened right under their noses once again, and they didn't even know. Lucian looked like he was on the verge of breaking down. Couldn't say he didn't feel the same, but he looked rough. He felt guilty for all of this, he was the one so desperate for a happy ending. Hell, he even made a promise or two about how this would never happen again. God, at this point... "...oh... I guess... It's... happened again...I failed... Again. Someone... Else is dead... Why... Why... why...?" "...Lucian, I-" What was he supposed to say to that? He wasn't even sure what the hell was going on himself. He couldn't comfort Lucian, it would all be filled with empty lies anyways. He couldn't, he just couldn't- But then his eyes landed on Sawyer. They were walking out of the room, towards the cafeteria. Sawyer. Sawyer "...guess... We should... Go." Yeah. Yeah, they should. Before Akari knew it, he was following the Ultimate Loremaster into the Cafeteria. It can't be, right? There's... No way they could've... Right? The body was right there. Akora, the Ultimate Vet. The haunting glow of sunlight illuminating her corpse, a smile covered in bruises and blood, all right there. They were dead. They had been murdered. Sawyer. They had a look in their eye again, a terrifying one. First it was confusion. Not shock, not horror, not disbelief, confusion. Sure kept up with their track record, but the look that followed after... It was even worse. Familiarity. Sure, they were looking at a former fellow classmate. Surely they had to be confused due to the memory loss. Surely they were just trying to figure out just what they were looking at. But he couldn't stop himself. He was tired, overcome with exhaustion, bewilderment, resentment, fear. He was making the wrong choice, he was doing something that he would regret. He didn't need another regret in his life, he didn't need more trouble. Yet he always started his own problems. He grabbed Sawyer's shirt and pulled them away, glaring deep into their oblivion-filled eyes. It can't be, it can't be them, it can't, right? "The hell is going on with you, huh?! The hell is this?! What the-" No. God no, right? It... No- What the hell am I doing...? He backed off. His sharpened glare deep into Sawyer's soul that had been filled with anger and confusion had suddenly turned into regret. Remorse. He let go of their shirt, but didn't move an inch. "What the f**k happened here...?" [ wooooowwww angsty akari that's completely out of character, gotta love it, woooooo so cool ] [Read more] |

Cassidy Louvin “Cassidy Louvin, our young, bright mind. How may I assist you?.” Woah. Scary. But at the same time, so frickin cool. The tone sent shivers down Cassidy's spine, and hearing her full name added to the unexpected shock factor. Also, woah oh, confidence alert, did she just get a compliment? Sure she was a little young for the field but I mean... Y'know what, Cass, just take the compliment. Her face brightened and if her eyes were actually open, they would've sparkled. ...Why did she have them closed again? Oh yeah, to negate the scare factor that weirdly... Had the opposite effect. Well, Andrea's notion immediately flared her embarrassment as she fluttered her eyes open, only just now feeling the stupidity of her little plan. Oh well, you live and you learn. Cass's eyes soon fell upon Andrea's face, and the sight alone ended up leaving her astounded. Come on Cassidy, you're doing a really bad job at this. "O-oh! Just wanted to say hi, y'know? Can't pass up the opportunity to chat with someone who catches your eye! Hope I'm not too much of a bother though, heh-" A little nervousness was showing, but it was more of a flustered nervous than an intimidated one. Like a fan meeting their favorite artist, or something. Cass was still obviously enthusiastic about all of this though, like a child high on sugar. She just hoped she didn't look like one. But wow. She looked different up close, somehow. The confident aura probably helped, but still. Hey, she wasn't complaining, Cass appreciated good looking people. Luckily, the topic was diverted to the wine she possessed. Cabernet Sauvignon, huh? Wasn't that your typical, every day bottle? Interesting, but definitely respectable. Ah who was she kidding, she knew almost nothing about alcoholic beverages, as confirmed by Andrea's comments. "Aww, that's alright ma'am! Totally fine with it, I'm content with my coffee and lemonades!" She let out a light-hearted laugh, completely oblivious to the undertones Andrea slid between her words. ...Although the sudden inclusion of "ma'am" struck her with embarrassment once again. Was that weird? It was a casual conversation, right? Was it appropriate? Was Andrea even considered a "higher-up"? Well yeah, she was older and all, most people here were anyways, but still... Couldn't turn back now, I guess, too late to worry about it at this point. “You’re interesting” “And talented to” Wooooaahhh... Another one? "I-" She honestly didn't know what to say to that, she was just smiling like an idiot. "T-thank you! Y'know, you're pretty talented and interesting yourself, I've heard about the contributions you've made in the lab. Man, I could never, props to you honestly!" [Read more] |

Abryn Soelare Ah, what a time to be alive. A gathering! At 7! A meeting! With a bunch of people he already knew! God it was too early for this. Too early in the morning or too early for a drink, the writer did not know. Oh well, sucks to be him. Lovely speech by the way, round of applause. Truly the greeting of a generation. Ah who was he kidding, it was Mawer, couldn't expect anything else from them. Abryn had made his place at a lone chair, watching the chaos from beyond. Now, normally he was quite the greeter, always one of the first faces people saw in their day whether they liked it or not. But today... Eh... Let's just say he was a little grumpy today. He woke up to immediately receiving the consequences of his actions, and by that I mean sleeping in a slightly different position than what his body comfortably allowed. Not only that, he somehow made his coffee wrong this morning. Oh whoopsies, accidentally dumped orange juice in there instead of creamer! Don't ask how that happened, he couldn't tell you. Even with his grumpiness, he still showed up today, totally not because he had to. Sure he might not be one of the major, fancy schmancy faces of the agency simply making calls and filing papers, but I guess his job was pretty important, or whatever. Important enough for people to know his name, important enough to get occasional glances while he sat alone like a loser. Some of those glances turned into glares, looks of disgust from the newbies, some were bewildered. Overall, not many of the looks were normal. At least, not much from the newcomers. Those that had been here for a while didn't give him much trouble, honestly, they were used to him by now. Respected his work and all that, I guess. Why do I care? Right. Why did he care? They were just looks. Just looks, nothing more, nothing less. Cassidy Louvin Woah. There sure were a lot of people here. Cass never got used to it, but that's alright! It was the kind of thing that awed her instead of making her uneasy. ...Right? Anyways, she found herself wandering around the small crowd. smiling like an idiot and waving to literally anyone that dared to look in her direction, or even be within her line of sight. Dropped the occasional overly cheerful greeting and flashed her toothy grin, y'know, the usual. Now, why was she so energetic? Not much was even going on, yet another orientation was later, and... She never found anyone worth blabbering on and on about to. She was probably blind though, not looking hard enough, which wouldn't be out-of-the-ordinary for her. On that note... Somebody finally caught her eye! It was your local vampire, or classic villainess, pick your poison. A bright red liquid swirled in their glass as they looked upon them all, scaring away any of those who dared to approach. Well well well, sounds like a challenge! Good luck scaring Cass off, uh... What was her name again? Andrea? Probably from the forensics department. Anywho, Cass was now determined to make some terrible decisions. She put on a big warm smile, closed her eyes, and took a deep breath. Cass marched on over with a wave and arrived with a giggle, totally didn't look absolutely stupid! Her eyes were still closed, with the logic of "if I don't see the scary expression, then I won't get scared!" "Heyyy, Andrea, was it? Wooowww, how you doin? Ooh ooh, what typa suspicious beverage you got there? AB+, O-, blackberry, cranberry... Wow, the possibilities are endless! Bet the mystery adds to the edgy coolness, huh?" All of that was amazingly stupid yet also so... Sincere. Like puppy doll eyes, but with words. Oh well, prepare to get smacked regardless, Andrea looks like a cat person anyways. [Read more] |

Abryn Soelare ![]() Name: Abryn Soelare Gender: Male Age: 38 Birthday: August 9th Role at the Agency: Secretary Personality: Abryn is a simple enough guy, typically lighthearted and easy to get along with. He is good at his job, his memory and logic skills are undeniable, and he's quick to react to any situation. He is highly secretive though, and seemingly any conversation dealing with information is treated like a game to him. He can be a bit too playful at times, becoming a pain if you're an impatient or straightforward person. While not easily irritated or angered, he can become blunt and arrogant when he is. Abryn is the type to hold grudges indefinitely, big on first impressions, and loves to tease and toy with those he isn't fond of. He does have a more tame side though, if anyone gets him to be personal, that is. His secretive nature makes it almost impossible to know him outside of what he actively displays, and his past is an absolute mystery to most. He'll even lie about it from time to time if he sees fit, as he finds it easy to tell small white lies. Sure he's an honest person, seeing no reason to lie about most things (even when he probably should), he just finds it easy to make something up without remorse. Anyways, he seems to be a little hard on himself, some can even catch him casually putting himself down like it's something he hears everyday. Abryn gets defensive at times when asked personal questions, always insistent on changing the subject if the topic at hand is unfavorable to him. Personality Type: How am I supposed to know Description: Picrew []Height: 5'11 []Weight: ~150 lbs []Skin Tone: Light Beige []Hair Style: Chin-length, confined but still messy and thick. Curtain bangs are neatly parted, although his right eye is often covered. []Hair Colour: Pale blonde, fading at the roots and a few gray-ish streaks are showing []Eye Colour: Pale rose []Clothes: Dark, casual button up collar shirt under a black lab-coat-like jacket with black, loose khaki pants and casual sneakers. []Accessories: Abryn is part mechanical, so he is not a fully organic human being. A section of his face above and including his right eye is replaced with a metal plate and a fake eye. He still wears glasses though, and has a small scar on his nose. He wears a necklace with what seems to be a wedding band on it around his neck. []Other: History: Abryn was always interested in the sciences and human anatomy, even becoming a fairly successful orthopedist and prosthetist (somewhat, it was more of a side interest) before joining the agency. He always had a simple and easy life, married his high-school sweetheart, and lived pretty comfortably, not much to note about it. He had a close-knit group of friends that was interested in similar fields, and they often worked together and did their own projects from time to time. They all eventually became interested in the quick uprising of technology and decided to experiment with it. Abryn insisted on being the first volunteer, requesting that the group start off with an altercation to the mind. The more neuroscience member of the bunch had initially made the suggestion, and they all decided to start off with memory. Bing bang boom, I'm not gonna act like I know what I'm talking about, but in the end the successful experiment led to Abryn having a computer-like memory. In turn, this also led to him having a vast amount of resources and knowledge to his disposal, more than one would think possible to say the least. Abryn always had poor eyesight, being only able to see the difference in colors and unable to tell where one object ends and another begins without glasses. He decided to alter his eyesight and enhance it beyond a normal level, one eye at a time. He did this so that there could be a period of time where he could see the difference between his typical eyesight, made normal with glasses, and the artificial sight. Sure it gave him a headache, as he had also altered his mind to accommodate for his heightened vision and his typical sight had trouble keeping up. At that point though, he became corrupt, obsessed with the knowledge and strived to take the project to its limits. His friends saw the loss in humanity and reasoning and refused to take it any further, shutting the whole thing down and even broke contact with him. His wife eventually did the same, in fear of who he had become, leaving him after desperately trying to talk some sense into him. Abryn still isn't over the unofficial divorce, leading to a hesitancy of a new relationship or even trying to get back into contact with anyone he was close to. After the incident, he also grew a resentment for his passion and who he became because of it. He blames himself for a lot of things and actively hides any noticeable non-human feature, as it tends to spark an unwanted conversation. Sexuality: Bisexual, although his relationship status is... Complicated. Voice Claim: Don't clown on me but Robert Pattinson, specifically from The Batman Cassidy "Cass" Louvin i'll somehow find a way to make her edgy, no matter how hard i try not to :') ![]() Name: Cassidy Louvin, goes by Cass or Cassy though Gender: Female Age: 17 Birthday: April 14th Role at the Agency: Investigative Assistant Personality: Cass is your typical cheerful, bubbly, clumsy mess that absolutely loves people. She's a little sweetheart, an innocent little cinnamon roll that will do anything to have a good time. She is extremely genuine and gentle, great at warming people up and is currently the number 1 champ at making friends, totally didn't make that up. She can sometimes get a little too excited and begins to fumble, speaking too quickly, getting overwhelmed, cheeks hurt from the smiling, becoming careless and clumsy, all that stuff. Cass just can't help but to be an absolute adorable bundle of joy. Other than that, not much to say, she's just Sawyer 2.0 Personality Type: How am I supposed to know Description: Picrew []Height: 5'1 []Weight: ~110 lbs []Skin Tone: Light Tan []Hair Style: Long hair almost always tied up in a simple ponytail, tied with a red bow []Hair Colour: Pale strawberry blonde []Eye Colour: Gold []Clothes: Pretty generic for her flamboyant personality, typically just wears a simple shirt with high waist jeans and sneakers. []Accessories: Loves dangling earrings and wears an eyepatch, no reason, just "aesthetics". []Other: History: Her parents abandoned her at an age too young for her to remember, leaving Cass in the care of her lone grandfather. She lived a relatively normal life and gained an interest in the business, eventually wanting to become a full detective. Sexuality: Gay (actually pan) as hell, too carefree to date though Voice Claim: Kaori Miyazono (Your Lie in April) Japanese sub [Read more] |

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- "I'll be here if you need me, okay?" Not again... He said that before, didn't he? Tried to give Akari reassurance, a shoulder to lean on, allowing him to be vulnerable, but... No, he couldn't. Not again, not again. He simply stood in this little spot in the kitchen, leaning against the counter and keeping to himself. There wasn't much he wanted to say after that, he only just got lost in thought. His head hurt, he was tired. His irritated eyes really made sure he knew it. "Mom?" "Mom, is that you?" Akari almost jumped, but still jolted awake from his dozing after hearing the sudden words spoken from the entrance. "Jesus, who-" He muttered under his breath, looking towards the location of the intruder. Huh. It was Sawyer. Been a while since he last saw them, not ever since... The kitchen incident, right? Funny how that works. Well, he didn't recall ever seeing them, but Darcy... They looked confused. There was a lost look in their eyes, a somewhat blank expression plastered on their face. The way Sawyer spoke, the way they just looked so... Confused, it was concerning to say the least. Lucian had already tried talking to them, Akari only stood back in silence. He wasn't sure exactly what he could do, didn't exactly think he could be useful anyways. Well, that is until his name was mentioned. Lucian said they were making pasta "together" “Oh, right! I met you… a little earlier, right? How… long ago? Akari!” “Great to see you, friend! Did you say… pasta?” Akari was a little lost for words, unsure of how to take the situation. "Uh... Hey..." He held his hand up for a small wave, his expression not exactly matching the welcome. Admittedly, he was a little confused as well. "Everything... Alright, Sawyer?" He hesitantly asked, watching as Sawyer miserably failed to handle a knife. Failed to handle a knife, huh? Then... The hell was that look for? From what he saw of this impossible optimistic, Akari didn't think that them and knives had anything to do with each other. So then... Why the look of familiarity? Sure, he didn't cross the thought of Sawyer having experience with cooking out of his mind, that would be a reasonable explanation [Read more] |

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Akari immediately noticed the sudden change in mood upon answering, guilt falling upon Lucian's face as he muttered a reply. "...oh... I..." Great, now he felt bad. Couldn't even have a simple conversation without it becoming all depressing, huh? "S-sorry, I just... Y'know-..." "...Akari, I know there's... not much of a chance, but..." "maybe there... is a way out. that we haven't considered yet." He shut his mouth, looking away towards the floor, almost in a sense of guilt. He had already given up any sign of hope, even long before coming to Hope's Peak. Even his original plan before coming here was depressing, just come for the studies, then go back to his job and do the same thing every day like he always did. Akari really didn't want Lucian having that hope for him. It would've been wasted, left the poor guy more hurt than need be. Couldn't he just keep to himself? Just for once? Why the hell did people just randomly start caring for him like this, only to end up broken in the end? ...Why? Why did they care so much? Why couldn't he just get them to stop? Why did you care about me...? "...I'm... sure you'll get out of here, somehow, Akari. I believe in you." His heart sank. How was he even supposed to reply to that? Anything he'd say would just make the mood more depressing than a funeral, unless he lied of course. Before he could stop himself, a slew of words slipped through. "Lucian it's..." He pulled his arm up to rest behind his neck. "Not that I don't think I can, it's just..." He took a deep breath and sighed. "I don't want to." "...maybe... you and everyone else... can make it out of here. we just haven't found the answer yet." God... Why was he so insistent? How did he have so much hope? How could he so blindly and selflessly care about people he hardly knew? How could he- Doesn't he know how much it kills you in the end? He sighed and bowed his head. "...Yeah. Maybe..." "...is... there anything you'd like to eat? I was going to make pasta, but..." Yeah, probably best to move on. Lucian was trying his best and he just had to be a depressing jerk about it. He didn't really have a preference, really, and he couldn't be in the mood for a specific meal if he... well, wasn't exactly in the mood to eat anything anyways. "Pasta is fine, I guess." "...Need any help?" [Read more] |

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- FILLER WOOOOOO Lucian seemed to be a little tense as well, but instead of doing nothing about it and standing around like an idiot similar to a certain somebody, he was just rummaging the pantries. "...are you hungry?" ...Probably not best to answer that question. Sure he didn't feel all that hungry, but he knew that by now he was on the brink of collapse due to how little he ate. Your honor, my client has pleaded "whoopsie daisy." That was pretty much the reason he came here in the first place, keep himself alive and all. "I could make you something, if you want." He opened his mouth to speak, but stopped himself before saying anything. The words that would've came out of his mouth were something along the lines of, "I was going to do it myself, but ok," which admittedly was a little rude. Sometimes he despised his more blunt nature, but it did him well so far so he couldn't be that irritated with himself. It was basically his version of the "costumer service voice", and unfortunately he didn't exactly have an alternative. Wasn't exactly used to being around those he could be casual with, not anymore at least. And well, then again, he didn't exactly have anything in mind for himself, not even now after all that time he had to think. "...You sure? Go ahead then, I guess, I don't mind." A silence seemed to fall between them, something that could be compared to the calm before the storm. A calm before something completely out of nowhere came to snap him back to reality. "...Akari? Do you think we'll... ever get out of here?" "...Hm?" Well that came out of nowhere. Akari had been leaning back against the counter, his arms crossed and his eyes falling a bit too lazy for his liking. Man, even after all that, he was still exhausted? Oh well, he was hoping he could sleep through tonight anyways. That question did wake him up though, and he took a moment to think about it. Honest answer? No. He wasn't exactly the most optimistic guy in the group, far from it actually, but logically speaking it just didn't seem possible. Every door was locked, there was no visible way out. None of the students even seemed to know exactly how they got here either. Flashback to a few days ago Not to mention the bear, and all those stupid rules he strictly enforced. It was obvious that whoever was behind all of this had the manpower to do exactly what they said they would, and they were already doing it. They had to kill to graduate, and getting caught would result in death. It already happened twice now, it could easily happen again. And tonight would be the perfect opportunity. Which gave him another reason to avoid that sh*tshow. He'd probably not want to get murdered at an event like that. "...I... Don't know." Not like I've really been trying, anyways. "Doubt I am, but-..." He was just about to give him some sort of false hope, wasn't he? "Maybe you guys can," or something cheesy like that? Yeah right, he already considered it all to be hopeless. Lucian would probably believe that there is still a chance regardless, no matter what Akari said, but he still didn't like the idea of fueling a fire that would quickly be snuffed out. "I wish you guys the best of luck." :) [Read more] |

Post-writing notes - Not my best work, I had a bit of trouble on the tension and couldn't find a way to make it very exciting (even though there obviously is one, it's just not in my ability to write it properly, I guess). I guess it's still a thing I wrote, and I had fun writing it. I don't think it turned out half bad, but I could definitely make it better. Oh well, first time writing a dedicated horror work lol It was quiet, at first. Dark, silent, utter nothing. Until you woke up. Then the screaming began, the flickering began, the pain began. The pain came before the realization, and the realization came before the fear. Something, something was wrapped tightly around your neck. Thick, coarse, irritating, suffocating. Something was at your back, like a chair, suspending you in midair. But something, something wasn't right. Something was missing, something was screaming, something was causing you pain. Drip. . . Drip. . Drip. Drip You knew that smell, that vulgar metallic odor that was still so enticing. The sound of a thick liquid dripping to the cold, hard floor below, you've seen enough movies to know what that was. It was red, you just knew it. Red like an apple, red like a warm autumn sunset, red like a rose. Red like blood. Red like the flickering lights that disoriented your vision. Your head wasn't clear, it felt light. You couldn't see straight, no thought in your mind was comprehendible, you could barely make a sound. Other than scream, that is. Scream, scream, but nobody heard. Scream, scream, but the pain wouldn't end. Scream, scream, but you wouldn't get your voice back. You wouldn't get your limbs back either. Limbs? Blood. Pain. Screaming. Nausea. Confusion. Weightlessness. Hanging. Right, your limbs were gone, you couldn't feel them. You could only feel the blood drip drip dripping, you could only feel the pain of a horrible amputation job, you could only feel true fear. You wouldn't bleed out, oh no, whoever did this made sure to do just enough to prevent that from happening. They didn't bother to make the experience pleasant, on the other hand. They drugged you, but not with an anesthesia. It soon began to click that they wanted you to suffer, all this was intentional. An elaborate plan to cause you as much misery as possible. You were suspended on a metal sheet, just enough to support what little body you had left. You were tied to a noose, tied just enough for you to breathe. In front of you lied a podium, and a figure standing behind it. There were dashes and letters laid out in front of them, but you were too disoriented to recognize anything. All you could see were twelve dashes, large spaces after the second and fourth line, and what appeared to be the whole alphabet underneath. Three rows of letters, ten characters in each row with six residing in the last. One letter was already crossed out in the second row, further to the right. You paled. The figure behind the podium, you recognized them. You couldn't make out any of the features, but the colors, the sizes, the shapes, it just seemed so familiar. But the pain wouldn't let you think about that any more. The pain only let you see the flickering lights, the blurry letters, your impending doom. The pain only served to make Hell's flames burn brighter. "S" The echo bounded painfully in your ears, filling your head and amplifying the nausea. That voice boomed across the room, like it was coming from a speaker, but the distortion wasn't even there. Is it in my head? Is it all in my head? The dashes changed. _ _ _ S _ _ _ _ S _ _ _ Your heart raced, you could hear the blood rushing in your ears, everything seemed to pulse. Your vision began to clear slightly, but the haze wouldn't recede. "T" Ba-dum. Ba-dum. Ba-dum. _ T _ S _ _ _ _ S _ _ _ The voice grew louder this time, more sinister. It sent a chill down your bare spine, and that very chill is what gave you the knowledge that your limbs weren't the only thing mauled by some mysterious force. You could feel open wounds, large gashes and burn-like spots that only amplified your screaming. At this point, your cries and screeches all fell silent. Only your racing heart, the booming voice, and the dripping blood remained. "L" Your heart stopped. A wave of pure dread swept over you, and everything seemed to fall silent. Then the buzzer sounded. A large X appeared on the letters below the dashes, and something changed in the figure. Was it their face? Could you see... A smile? You could hear whirring nearby, like machines warming up, like a cat getting ready to pounce on its prey. Shing. A flare. A scream. A wave of pain. A gush of blood. A crooked smile. Something was stabbed into the stumps that previously held your limbs. A sharp, searing pain quaked throughout every atom in your body, it almost made you pass out. But you couldn't. They made sure of it. You were sure that figure, the one standing there with that horrific smile, was behind all this, and they were getting exactly what they had hoped for. Something in your system prevented the luxury of escaping the pain, they wanted you to feel every moment of this hell. _ T _ S _ _ _ _ S _ _ _ They didn't stop there. You could feel the blade twisting, faintly hear your tender flesh squelching, the blood leaving your body as a rhythmic whirring followed along the slow rotations. You could hear the metal clash into bone, and the pressure flaring in your chest as it moved along. It was your right arm, mangled beyond recognition, but they still found it necessary to "reattach" it in such a cruel way. You screamed, but nobody heard you. You flailed, but nobody was there to save you. "Please," you would cry out, "Why are you doing this!?" Nobody would ever answer your calls. Your desperation would be lost to the emptiness of the room. Your pain was your only friend now, feeding off you like a parasite. Itching away at your sanity, your will to escape, leaving you hopeless in the end. Oh but it didn't stop there. The symphony of the machines at work suddenly became out of rhythm, like the objective was changed. The arm fell back into place, barely hanging onto the side of your bloodied body, and the machine came back. This time, it possessed tiny needles, with a thin, barbed wire threaded into the eye. Stab. Down and under, wrap around. Stab. Up and over, wrap around. Stab. Down and under, wrap around. Stab. Up and over, wrap around. Stab. Over and over in a hauntingly beautiful beat, and oddly enough, it kept you grounded through the pain. You resorted to counting the steps in your head, like one would at a slow waltz for their feet. Each number brought another stab into your beaten flesh, and the numbers kept you sane. Down and under, wrap around. Stab. Up and over, wrap around. Stab. Down and under, wrap around. Stab. Up and over, wrap around. Stab. They were sewing your limb back in place, with the rugged connecting blade still sandwiched in between. The threads and pulls only drew your arm and your body closer together, driving that cursed piece of metal deeper and deeper. "N" The machines backed off, you were heaving at this point. No longer did you have the energy to continue desperately screaming, your throat ached long ago. The deeper breaths hurt, but your body refused to follow along with your attempts to catch your breath calmly. Desperation flowed through every vein you had left, and your body wasn't your own anymore. Your voice was gone, but you still tried to plead for mercy. "Please, please I can't- I can't take it anymore-" But you still had three limbs left. And you definitely haven't forgotten about the noose. The noose that only seemed to constrict tighter upon regaining your arm. The metal sheet you were on seemed to have lowered slightly, like it was a pressure plate. It all clicked into place. All hope for an escape had been lost. You knew how this would end, you knew what hell awaited you. Your life wasn't your own anymore, you were simply entertainment now. Entertainment for the one smiling behind the podium. _ T _ S _ _ N _ S _ _ _ A moment of relief, but another moment to soak in the pain. "E" _ T _ S _ _ N _ S _ E _ Your breathing grew heavier, but slower. Your head was throbbing, the world was spinning, but all you could do was wait for the next letter. At this point, you couldn't even make out what the phrase was supposed to be. There was only four letters, five of the twelve dashes were filled in. You couldn't think clearly enough to try and solve it yourself anyways. "A" A moment of silence. Your heart sank, your breathing halted. Shing There it was again, the flaring pain in your left side this time. The same procedure, but that didn't mean it hurt any less. It was agonizing, you wanted it all to be over with, you wanted to die already. You couldn't take it, the pain was already too much. Tears flowed down your face, your voiceless mouth opened for another plea, a beg of mercy, a scream of misery, but nothing could come out. Nothing would be there to help you. The smile on the figure only grew wider, the features only grew ever so clearer, but you still couldn't see it in full. That grin was almost inhuman, stretching further than what you thought was possible. "I" Another moment of rest, another moment to sit with the pain that lingered. I T I S _ I N I S _ E _ Only three dashes left now. Only three chances left. Only two limbs remain. Only so little time before the plate folded under your full weight. Only so little time before the rope caressing your neck closed in. A long silence fell in the room. Only your heavy breathing, the dripping of your blood, the now audible buzzing of the lamps above sounded. Then a laughter came. A laughter from the figure. The figure with a smile so wide, their cheeks had been torn. Blood came down from that horrific smile of theirs, but they were still smiling. Still laughing. Still looking upon your form with utter joy. You knew they were simply playing a game now, they had no intention of completing the final word, not before they had their fill. You could beg and beg for them to end it quickly, but that smile only grew. "O" Another roar of pain, another limb crudely reattached, another attempted scream was let out. You couldn't even pass out, you couldn't even die from the shock, your heart was racing and blood flowed from your body like a fountain but you just wouldn't die. "D" The laughter was now combined with their choices, a haunting laugh that came from nowhere and everywhere all at once, all at the hands of the one behind the podium. The one behind the row of letters that now determined your fate. I T I S _ I N I S _ E D Two more letters now, one more limb, one more weight to be added to the scale that would end your life. The clock was ticking away, but the seconds only seemed like hours to you. It was a countdown you wanted to end, a countdown you wanted to see at zero. A bomb you wanted to explode, a timer you wanted to ring. The laughter only grew louder. Was it all in your head? Did you start laughing too? The laughter was all you could hear. The flickering lights seemed to go along with the laugher, the blood seemed to as well. "U" And again. And again. And again and again and again and again andagain andagain andagain andagainandagainandagainandagain- That was the last limb. Were you finally free? Did you finally win hangman? Could the pain be over? But the metal plate below you seemed to be locked long ago. It wouldn't let you fall, not yet. You may be a complete human now, but the noose knows nothing else other than its own twists and turns and the skin of your neck. "H" I T I S _ I N I S H E D You gazed into the empty sockets of the figure standing just in front of you. Its widened smile bled and bled, matching the rhythm of your own blood falling to the floor. You knew who it was. Even from the moment you opened your eyes, you knew those initial features all too well. All before it became distorted and corrupt, mauled and mangled, just like the body you had now. "X" The lock on the plate snapped, and your last moments were left in the lands of the suffocating noose. Any air you had left was now being snuffed out, your neck ached in pain, but it was over. You knew it was finally over. As your neck craned up from the weight of your makeshift body, as the rope dug into your tender skin, the figure you were faced with looked upwards as well. The engraving of the invisible rope buried deeper into their skin. I T I S F I N I S H E D It's you. [Read more] |

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Damn right Mei was, and after realizing she had no popcorn left, she threw the bucket too. Amazing how the screen Anyways, on a side quest she went on, she finally found the commotion near the trophy set and grabbed some tissues for Darcy and Idris's sob story. Heart-breaking, tear-jerking, moving trauma dumps from both ends, give a round of applause to these two weirdos! Oh, and she made sure to save some popcorn for Kubo, even had some leftover to throw at the three others standing there. Kubo got the most though, and that handful was filled with rotten kernels and burnt ashes of what one could only hope was previously popcorn. Oh yeah, and she obviously took a peek at that suspicious name that blue rat was hiding, she totally knows everything. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- The quiet walk to his initial destination was a little longer than he would've thought, which was slightly unpleasant but he couldn't complain. Better than running into whatever was going on in that one place he couldn't bother to remember, shoving that detail into the back of his mind. The kitchen was... Surprisingly empty, which was nice I guess. Nobody to bother him, nobody to interfere with whatever he was doing. Nobody to witness. Uh oh, spoiler alert, let me just Neuralyzer pen you :) Anyways, just as he was deciding what to make while observing everything the kitchen had in store (albeit, nearly falling asleep while doing so, somehow), a certain somebody decided to show up. Uh oh, Lucian jumpscare. Speaking of... What FNAF jumpscare sound fits your character best? Leave your answer in the comments below, and don't forget to smash that like button and subscribe to the channel! Also check out my merch, I'm now selling $500 pebbles covered in my bath water! Trust me, it's very valuable stuff. "oh! hey again. I was just going to check if..." "...if... The concessions were in order. For prom." He immediately became more alert upon hearing another voice, not even hearing their footsteps. Not exactly startled, but not exactly relaxed either. He turned his head over toward Lucian as he came in, noticing the hesitation but not saying anything about it. Akari seemed to tense up a bit upon Lucian mentioning prom again, but otherwise didn't really react to anything else. Just a slight nod of acknowledgement, I guess. "...Ah." He hesitated slightly, his finger now faintly tapping on his arm as he crossed them, almost like he wasn't all that enthusiastic about what he was about to get himself into. What a surprise, ammiright? "Y'know... I would've thought Monokuma would've had it all set up himself, honestly..." He mumbled, looking back at his surroundings instead of the person standing next to him. [Read more] |

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- WOW I LOVE FILLER IT'S LIKE MY FAVORITE THING AND TOTALLY DOESN'T CAUSE RP DEATH OR MEI'S DEATH EITHER plot twist, she had that entire scene of her murder and demise on video tape, rallied a bunch of other random ghosts from god knows where, made an unbelievable amount of popcorn, and has it on repeat like some cult brainwashing tape second plot twist, she is choreographing a knock-off of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Each and every time he looked upon a new item, he could always think of some horrific event tied to it. Every medicine bottle, every instrument, every bandage and wrapping, all of it somehow brought forth something else in his mind. Yeah yeah, edge-lord Akari and his ✨traumatic backstory✨ like every terribly written character of mine, what's new. He eventually became lost in thought, leisurely working alongside Lucian without hardly even thinking about it. Sure, a little more was going on with him than his blank, yet exhausted, expression portrayed, but at least he wasn't making a scene or whatever. "...ah?! Yes! I'm alright. Of course..." So they were both playing that game, huh? In hindsight, Akari knew it was a dumb question to ask considering he knew enough about the therapist to predict his response, but it didn't hurt to ask. Well, maybe it did, but it wasn't worth worrying about. Ironically, even with that mindset, Akari couldn't help but to worry about the guy. Sure they were doing the exact same thing, being hypocritical little trauma-wads, but Lucian is the soft and innocent one while Akari is the brooding edgy teenager that is probably stuck in 2005 listening to MCR. Surely it would make sense to be more concerned about the (in a not very negative sense) snowflake, right? Besides, just last night "What about you? Are... you alright?" Alright, two options here. 1: Lie like the annoying edgy (I'm using that word too much, my apologies) bastard he was, which would have no use other than portray a rude tone or 2: Completely break character, ✨trauma dump✨, and add a butt load of new filler that will kill the rp for another 3 months. I think we all know where I'm going with this. He gave a small sigh as he paused whatever he was doing, opening his mouth to speak but hesitated for a moment. "...Tired, I guess." He said simply, deciding to leave it at that. Not the full truth, but not a complete lie, he figured that was the best he could do for now. After that, he simply continued on with whatever he was doing. Well, that would be the case if he didn't quickly get tired of seeing the supplies "Well, I'm gonna... head out, I guess. Feel free to tag along if you want." Awkwari said awkwardly, turning to leave the room after raising his hand in a goodbye. [Read more] |

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Cue Mei violently ghost punching Kubo in the face. Oh, and practicing a drama that could only be compared to a soap opera upon seeing the rest of the mess going on 'round these parts Wow, she even managed to get some fake sobs out, and her freestyle lines were pretty well thought out considering she did it on the spot. Such a great actor, she should get an Oscar. Although we already established her funny little talent, what if she was reeeaaallyyyy the Ultimate Actor...? 👀 -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ah. So he really cared, huh? Cared about people he only just met a few days ago, all because of some stupid killing game. Cared enough to make notes, cared enough to endure everyone's BS and still be selfless as hell. He made it look easy, but if anyone spent more than 2 seconds with the Ultimate Therapist, that view would immediately crash and burn. Oh well, Akari wasn't one to poke and prod. Never really wanted to deal with other people and their burdens, he just wasn't cut out for it. He observed the arrangement Lucian had thus far, slightly astonished at the willingness to organize them to this extent. And well... The method of organizing wasn't exactly something Akari would've thought of. He was more of a practicality kind of guy, didn't exactly have the luxury of time at his disposal to make everything neat. He stared blankly at the supplies, not saying a word but going along with whatever Lucian was doing. Honestly, he was just glad to have something else to focus on. He may not look all that invested, but he knew it was better than being alone or with... Unfavorable individuals. "...do you have... Any other suggestions on it?" Well... He didn't have much thought on it in the first place, but there was one thing slightly bothering him. "Maybe the drawers could use some labels, I guess..." Seems like Monokuma was a minimalist, made them work for whatever they wanted to find. But... There was another thing bothering him. Lucian seemed to be much more on edge ever since he arrived, he could tell there was a shift from when he first arrived to now. He was nervous, hesitant, worried in a way. Was something on his mind? Did he want to be alone or something? Was it him? "...You alright?" He asked cautiously, not yet jumping to conclusions. The unease was getting a little suffocating, honestly. [Read more] |

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- The sudden acknowledgement made him flinch, even though it was expected. Guess he was just really jumpy, staring at the ceiling for hours on end in complete silence could do that to you, I suppose. Wouldn't be the first time, but it still didn't stop Akari from being pissed at himself for it. Speaking of... God, he must've looked miserable, but he wouldn't know. He didn't want to know. Sure, he always looked like this, but last night must've taken a toll on him. At least with nightmares, he'd get some sleep to stave off the ever-growing abyss under his eyes, but they didn't exactly have the opportunity to rest. ...That smile. He still wasn't all that used to Lucian's friendliness, or anyone's really. He adverted his gaze to observe the room instead, giving a small sigh as he did so. "Oh, Akari, hello. I was just preparing for prom tonight." ...Right. Prom. He was kinda hoping to forget about it, but I guess it was unavoidable. He clenched his teeth at the thought of it, but said nothing. "I thought I'd organize the Nurse's Office. In case anyone winds up... ill, or injured. Then I was planning to help with decorating, and refreshments... I've also been... taking notes..." "...Notes?" Akari asked skeptically, unsure of what exactly Lucian meant by that. Sure, he also found it odd that the guy would be preparing in the Nurse's office of all places, but he wasn't going to question it. "...would... you like to join?" Odd how they always ended up just running into each other, must be the effects of "filler" and "plot." Akari thought for a moment, looking around the room momentarily before giving his answer. "I was gonna go to the kitchen, but-..." He trailed off, his expression becoming slightly more anxious. Why were you going in the first place, hm? Conveniently, the kitchen has some preetttyyy dangerous stuff Akari, surely that isn't why you were going, right? ...Goddammit man. Guess that wasn't a good idea. "...Yeah, yeah sure." [Read more] |

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- On the way out, Akari contemplated his next actions. Yeah, sure, he decided on going to the kitchen to get his mind off things, but what would he even do after that? Man, for someone who's supposed to be smart, he was kind of a dumbass, wasn't he? Well, before he could even make is final decision, he began to hear some... concerning commotion. Didn't seem all that friendly, and he recognized one of the voices to be that wretched blue-haired scumbag, so he decided to act like it never even happened. Akari first decided to head upstairs to scout the building briefly, see if he missed anything that would catch his interest. Hmm... Nothing so far, everything around here was already brought to his attention, so he concluded that it was just a small waste of time. Well, that is, until he noticed something unusual about a certain room. The Nurse's office had someone in it, which intriguied him. Who the hell would be in here? Didn't seem like there was more than one person, given by the lack of talking, but they were definitely doing something. He moved towards the room slowly, still curious to see what was going on, finally moving close enough to see the one occupying the room was... Lucian? Odd, but not really unexpected. He tilted his head slightly as he stuffed his hands into his pockets, entering the room quietly. He didn't go very far, just barely past the entrance, but enough to make his presence known to the Ultimate Therapist. "What... Are you doing?" [Read more] |

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Oh Lucian, you poor, naiive soul. Bold of you to assume everything will be alright when it's spooky month and the oh so scary ghost of Mei Akamatsu still roams the corridors ;) The only one having fun around here will be her corpse, I heard it's being used as a decoration. And yet, even with her supposed omnipotence that comes along with being a handy dandy ghost, she was completely unaware of the situation happening with K- *gag* Sorry, had something stuck in my throat. Bit hard to get certain words out, isn't it? Anyways, she was oblivious to the situation happening with Ku- *COUGH COUGH* KUB- With that insufferable jerk and a nearby situation with Idris and Darcy. Oh and I suppose Monokuma too, whatever the hell he's doing. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Getting out of bed was probably the hardest part, honestly. The fact that he would need to change before leaving already annoyed him, and he almost considered spending the rest of the day in solitude. Too bad plot exists, and I find every way I can to torment this little bastard. Anyways, in all truthfulness, we was a bit too content with his position to easily get himself up, it's been a while since he was this... comfortable. It was a little embarrassing to admit, sure, considering comfort had never even been a thought in his mind for a while now and he had much bigger things to worry about, but that was the full truth. He could be an edge-lord and say the existential dread and horrific memories weighed him down that day, but really? He got over that pretty quickly. He just became sick and tired of his own moping, maybe he broke far enough that it couldn't break any further. This was probably the first time in ages that he let himself relax, even if it was a little bit (and not technically considered relaxing, since he was still being an edgy depressed mofo). ...When was the last time he was able to sit through the night? Sure, he didn't really sleep this time, but this wasn't the first time he had a staring contest with the ceiling all throughout the night. Those other times though... It wasn't this quiet, to say the least. Besides, wasn't often that he decided to actually take care of himself, he underestimated how nice a fresh change of clothes really was. He didn't really get the time to notice it when he first got here, he was a bit too busy being traumatized by a Freddy Fazbear knockoff. He could probably say the same about these circumstances, considering what happened literally the day before, but honestly... He was just tired. He had enough, Akari couldn't fold anymore. Had he already become desensitized to it? Just one night, he went from nearly breaking down to just nothing? Heh, how terrible of a person would he have to be to just brush away someone's death like that? Akari was in the middle of sitting up, but he froze. How terrible would he have to be, huh? 4 down, 14 to go, did those 4 really mean nothing? Can't just act like nothing happened, Akari. You can't be alright after all that, it would be unfair, wouldn't it? Wouldn't it, Akari? "Goddammit..." A small voice was let out, a shaky one at that. One that held fear and resentment, one that was only followed with silence. Akari simply tried his best to take a deep breath, changed, grabbed his jacket, then left. . . . "Hey, Akari...?" The room was dark, it was quiet except for the sound of harsh sobs, winces of pain, and footsteps. You could smell it, you could feel it, you could hear it. Drip. Drip. Drip. Blood. "No... No j-just leave me alone... I don't- I can't-" The boy kept repeating it over and over, disheartened wails of how little he deserved, that his current actions were justified, absolute guilt flooding his voice. It was painful not only to him. But to her too. The blade didn't even touch her fingertips, yet she felt all the pain. ... "It's alright, Akari. You're getting better at this." "..." "I'm right here. It's alright." It was that same feeling again, the same pain, but only this time there wasn't a blade in his hands. There were no tears, no wails, only silence. Only silence. "...thank you... I wish you were here. I wish you were here so bad, you were the only one... The only one that knew me. I miss you. I don't know how much longer I can go... Please. Just come back. I wish you were here. I wish you were still here. [Read more] |

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- His head throbbed, his ears rang, his vision was blurry, his body was sluggish, it felt like he was in a pool of some really thick liquid. Can't hear that well underwater, right? Can't see, can't move, everything is against you, encasing you in a prison and draining every last breath while it torments you. How cruel, how terrifying of a world. You really wanted your last moments to be in this cage? "Ugh..." Akari shut his eyes and forced himself to take a breath, then sighed angrily, almost as if he was sick and tired of himself. He sat up as the grogginess began to fade, and something just as miserable took its place. Oh lovely, exactly what he wanted to wake up to. His favorite sound in the world, that damn bear. At first, it was just talking nonsense, things Akari couldn't bring himself to care about and just simply brushed aside. But of course, the bear couldn't stop talking. It wouldn't be Monokuma unless he brought more misery upon them all every time he spoke, which is exactly what happened next. "What I meant to say was, PROM IS TOMORROW NIGHT! We'll have plenty of outfits for you to choose from inside of a locker room, just combine whatever suits you or whatever. That'll be sure to cheer up you sad saps and have you stop whining about the bodies in the freezer! Anyway, have fun, make some pairings canon or whatever! There TOTALLY won't be any new deaths any time soon! Uhuhu! Bear well!" ...Huh? Akari simply sat there for a moment, trying to rationalize or even figure out what the hell was even said. What was the point? Did Monokuma have something up his sleeve? Was this his attempt to cheer everyone up? Akari groaned again as he got up and moved to the sink, still feeling the cold sweat on his skin. Y'know what? He wasn't going to think about that for now. He had no plans on going, no plans on dressing up, no plans on even talking to anyone about it. He was just gonna forget it and move on, waiting for the days to pass. Besides, he had a few bucks on it being a trap of some kind, whether it be a death trap or a ploy to entertain the bear and the bear only. Either way, he wasn't up for it. Instead, he decided to take a quick shower before cosplaying Nabstablook for the night, not in the mood to endure whatever nightmare he may have. He even began to notice a few imperfections in the roof, pretty neat. He almost forgot that he had a dorm partner, which he didn't mind the absence of, but after remembering Sutaraitsu he began to worry. Well, not worry enough to bother looking into it, but it became a thought on his mind. Just another to add to the pile that became his mind. So many thoughts, not enough cares to acknowledge them. Well, that would be a lie, as those were the very thoughts that haunted him. Haunted by the past, haunted by the present, haunted by the future. Might as well be Ebenezer Scrooge at this point, except this time he would gladly live out the vision the Ghost of Christmas Future gave him. Too bad said ghost was Monokuma, and his grave was whatever plans that bear had in store for each of them. ...It was morning already? Oh. Lovely. That night surely wasn't all that enjoyable, but it was better than sleeping. ...Even though he probably needed that rest. Oh well, he could sleep later. Probably. Anyways, kitchen time. Although he wasn't hungry Totally not doing anything to forget. To escape. [Read more] |
